35 verses
1
ואכנש משה ית כל כנשתא דבני ישראל ואמר להון אלין פתגמיא די פקד יי למעבד יתהון:
ythhwn lmebd yy pqd dy pthgmya alyn lhwn wamr yshral dbny knshtha kl yth mshh waknsh
Moses assembled all the congregation of the children of Israel, and said to them, “These are the words which Yahweh has commanded, that you should do them.

שתא יומין תתעבד עבדתא וביומא שביעאה יהי לכון קודשא שבא שבתא קדם יי כל דיעבד ביה עבדתא יתקטל:
ythqTl ebdtha byh dyebd kl yy qdm shbtha shba qwdsha lkwn yhy shbyeah wbywma ebdtha ththebd ywmyn shtha
‘Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of solemn rest to Yahweh: whoever does any work in it shall be put to death.

לא תבערון אשתא בכל מותבניכון ביומא דשבתא:
dshbtha bywma mwthbnykwn bkl ashtha thberwn la
You shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations on the Sabbath day.’”

ואמר משה לכל כנשתא דבני ישראל למימר דין פתגמא די פקד יי למימר:
lmymr yy pqd dy pthgma dyn lmymr yshral dbny knshtha lkl mshh wamr
Moses spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which Yahweh commanded, saying,

סבו מנכון אפרשותא קדם יי כל דיתרעי לביה ייתי ית אפרשותא קדם יי דהבא וכספא ונחשא:
wnkhsha wkspa dhba yy qdm aprshwtha yth yythy lbyh dythrey kl yy qdm aprshwtha mnkwn sbw
‘Take from among you an offering to Yahweh. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as Yahweh’s offering: gold, silver, bronze,

ותכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי ובוץ ומעזי:
wmezy wbwts zhwry wtsbe wargwna wthkla
blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats’ hair,
7
ומשכי דדכרי מסמקי ומשכי דססגונא ואעי שטין:
shTyn waey dssgwna wmshky msmqy ddkry wmshky
rams’ skins dyed red, sea cow hides, acacia wood,
8
ומשחא לאנהרותא ובוסמיא למשח רבותא ולקטרת בוסמיא:
bwsmya wlqTrth rbwtha lmshkh wbwsmya lanhrwtha wmshkha
oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,
9
ואבני בורלא ואבני אשלמותא לשקעא באפודא ובחושנא:
wbkhwshna bapwda lshqea ashlmwtha wabny bwrla wabny
onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate.
10
וכל חכימי לבא בכון ייתון ויעבדון ית כל די פקד יי:
yy pqd dy kl yth wyebdwn yythwn bkwn lba khkymy wkl
“‘Let every wise-hearted man among you come, and make all that Yahweh has commanded:

ית משכנא ית פרסיה וית חופאיה ית פורפוהי וית דפוהי ית עברוהי ית עמודוהי וית סמכוהי:
smkwhy wyth emwdwhy yth ebrwhy yth dpwhy wyth pwrpwhy yth khwpayh wyth prsyh yth mshkna yth
the tabernacle, its outer covering, its roof, its clasps, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;

ית ארונא וית אריחוהי ית כפרתא וית פרכתא דפרסא:
dprsa prktha wyth kprtha yth arykhwhy wyth arwna yth
the ark, and its poles, the mercy seat, the veil of the screen;
13
ית פתורא וית אריחוהי וית כל מנוהי וית לחם אפיא:
apya lkhm wyth mnwhy kl wyth arykhwhy wyth pthwra yth
the table with its poles and all its vessels, and the show bread;
14
וית מנרתא דאנהורי וית מנהא וית בוצינהא וית משחא דאנהרותא:
danhrwtha mshkha wyth bwtsynha wyth mnha wyth danhwry mnrtha wyth
the lamp stand also for the light, with its vessels, its lamps, and the oil for the light;
15
וית מדבחא דקטרת בוסמיא וית אריחוהי וית משחא דרבותא וית קטרת בוסמיא וית פרסא דתרעא לתרע משכנא:
mshkna lthre dthrea prsa wyth bwsmya qTrth wyth drbwtha mshkha wyth arykhwhy wyth bwsmya dqTrth mdbkha wyth
and the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil, the sweet incense, the screen for the door, at the door of the tabernacle;

ית מדבחא דעלתא וית סרדא דנחשא דיליה ית אריחוהי וית כל מנוהי ית כיורא וית בסיסיה:
bsysyh wyth kywra yth mnwhy kl wyth arykhwhy yth dylyh dnkhsha srda wyth deltha mdbkha yth
the altar of burnt offering, with its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its vessels, the basin and its base;

ית סרדי דרתא ית עמודוהי וית סמכהא וית פרסא דתרע דרתא:
drtha dthre prsa wyth smkha wyth emwdwhy yth drtha srdy yth
the hangings of the court, its pillars, their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court;
18
ית סכי משכנא וית סכי דדרתא וית אטוניהון:
aTwnyhwn wyth ddrtha sky wyth mshkna sky yth
the pins of the tabernacle, the pins of the court, and their cords;
19
ית לבושי שמושא לשמשא בקודשא ית לבושי קודשא לאהרן כהנא וית לבושי בנוהי לשמשא:
lshmsha bnwhy lbwshy wyth khna lahrn qwdsha lbwshy yth bqwdsha lshmsha shmwsha lbwshy yth
the finely worked garments for ministering in the holy place—the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons—to minister in the priest’s office.’”

ונפקו כל כנשתא דבני ישראל מן קדם משה:
mshh qdm mn yshral dbny knshtha kl wnpqw
All the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
21
ואתו כל גבר דאתרעי לביה וכל די אשלמת רוחיה יתיה איתיאו ית אפרשותא קדם יי לעבידת משכן זמנא ולכל פלחניה וללבושי קודשא:
qwdsha wllbwshy plkhnyh wlkl zmna mshkn lebydth yy qdm aprshwtha yth aythyaw ythyh rwkhyh ashlmth dy wkl lbyh dathrey gbr kl wathw
They came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, and brought Yahweh’s offering for the work of the Tent of Meeting, and for all of its service, and for the holy garments.

ומיתן גבריא על נשיא כל דאתרעי לביה איתיאו שירין ושבכין ועזקן ומחוך כל מן דדהב וכל גבר די ארים ארמות דהבא קדם יי:
yy qdm dhba armwth arym dy gbr wkl ddhb mn kl wmkhwk wezqn wshbkyn shyryn aythyaw lbyh dathrey kl nshya el gbrya wmythn
They came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, and brought brooches, earrings, signet rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold; even every man who offered an offering of gold to Yahweh.

וכל גבר דאשתכח עמיה תכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי ובוץ ומעזי ומשכי דדכרי מסמקי ומשכי ססגונא איתיאו:
aythyaw ssgwna wmshky msmqy ddkry wmshky wmezy wbwts zhwry wtsbe wargwna thkla emyh dashthkkh gbr wkl
Everyone with whom was found blue, purple, scarlet, fine linen, goats’ hair, rams’ skins dyed red, and sea cow hides, brought them.

כל דארים ארמות כסף ונחש איתיאו ית אפרשותא קדם יי וכל די אשתכח עמיה אעי שטין לכל עבידת פלחנא איתיאו:
aythyaw plkhna ebydth lkl shTyn aey emyh ashthkkh dy wkl yy qdm aprshwtha yth aythyaw wnkhsh ksp armwth darym kl
Everyone who offered an offering of silver and bronze brought Yahweh’s offering; and everyone with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.

וכל אתתא חכימת לבא בידהא מעזלא ומיתן כד עזל ית תכלא וית ארגונא ית צבע זהורי וית בוצא:
bwtsa wyth zhwry tsbe yth argwna wyth thkla yth ezl kd wmythn mezla bydha lba khkymth aththa wkl
All the women who were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought that which they had spun: the blue, the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen.

וכל נשיא דאתרעי לבהן עמהן בחכמא עזלן ית מעזיא:
mezya yth ezln bkhkma emhn lbhn dathrey nshya wkl
All the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats’ hair.
27
ורברביא איתיאו ית אבני בורלא וית אבני אשלמותא לשקעא באפודא ובחושנא:
wbkhwshna bapwda lshqea ashlmwtha abny wyth bwrla abny yth aythyaw wrbrbya
The rulers brought the onyx stones and the stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate;

וית בוסמא וית משחא לאנהרותא ולמשחא דרבותא ולקטרת בוסמיא:
bwsmya wlqTrth drbwtha wlmshkha lanhrwtha mshkha wyth bwsma wyth
with the spice and the oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

כל גבר ואתתא דאתרעי לבהון עמהון לאיתאה לכל עבדתא די פקד יי למעבד בידא דמשה איתיאו בני ישראל נדבתא קדם יי:
yy qdm ndbtha yshral bny aythyaw dmshh byda lmebd yy pqd dy ebdtha lkl laythah emhwn lbhwn dathrey waththa gbr kl
The children of Israel brought a free will offering to Yahweh; every man and woman whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which Yahweh had commanded to be made by Moses.

ואמר משה לבני ישראל חזו דרבי יי בשום בצלאל בר אורי בר חור לשבטא דיהודה:
dyhwdh lshbTa khwr br awry br btslal bshwm yy drby khzw yshral lbny mshh wamr
Moses said to the children of Israel, “Behold, Yahweh has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

ואשלם עמיה רוח נבואה מן קדם יי בחכמתא בסוכלתנו ובמדע ובכל עבידא:
ebyda wbkl wbmde bswklthnw bkhkmtha yy qdm mn nbwah rwkh emyh washlm
He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship;

ולאלפא אומנון למעבד בדהבא ובכספא ובנחשא:
wbnkhsha wbkspa bdhba lmebd awmnwn wlalpa
and to make skillful works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,
33
ובאומנות אבן טבא לאשלמא ובנגרות אעא למעבד בכל עבידת אומנון:
awmnwn ebydth bkl lmebd aea wbngrwth lashlma Tba abn wbawmnwth
in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of skillful workmanship.

ולאלפא יהב בלביה הוא ואהליאב בר אחיסמך לשבטא דדן:
ddn lshbTa akhysmk br wahlyab hwa blbyh yhb wlalpa
He has put in his heart that he may teach, both he and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

אשלם עמהון חכימות לבא למעבד כל עבידת נגר ואמן וציר בתכלא ובארגונא בצבע זהורי ובבוצא ומחי עבדי כל עבידא ומלפי אומנון:
awmnwn wmlpy ebyda kl ebdy wmkhy wbbwtsa zhwry btsbe wbargwna bthkla wtsyr wamn ngr ebydth kl lmebd lba khkymwth emhwn ashlm
He has filled them with wisdom of heart to work all kinds of workmanship, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do any workmanship, and of those who make skillful works.
