1
ותעבד מדבחא לאקטרא עלוהי קטרת בוסמיא דאעי שטין תעבד יתיה:
ythyh thebd shTyn daey bwsmya qTrth elwhy laqTra mdbkha wthebd
“You shall make an altar to burn incense on. You shall make it of acacia wood.

אמתא ארכיה ואמתא פתיה מרבע יהי ותרתין אמין רומיה מניה קרנוהי:
qrnwhy mnyh rwmyh amyn wthrthyn yhy mrbe pthyh wamtha arkyh amtha
Its length shall be a cubit, and its width a cubit. It shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.

ותחפי יתיה דהב דכי ית אגריה וית כתלוהי סחור סחור וית קרנוהי ותעבד ליה דיר דדהב סחור סחור:
skhwr skhwr ddhb dyr lyh wthebd qrnwhy wyth skhwr skhwr kthlwhy wyth agryh yth dky dhb ythyh wthkhpy
You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, its sides around it, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding around it.

ותרתין עזקן דדהב תעבד ליה מלרע לדיריה על תרתין זויתיה תעבד על תרין סטרוהי ויהי לאתרא לאריחיא למטל יתיה בהון:
bhwn ythyh lmTl larykhya lathra wyhy sTrwhy thryn el thebd zwythyh thrthyn el ldyryh mlre lyh thebd ddhb ezqn wthrthyn
You shall make two golden rings for it under its molding; on its two ribs, on its two sides you shall make them; and they shall be for places for poles with which to bear it.

ותעבד ית אריחיא דאעי שטין ותחפי יתהון דהבא:
dhba ythhwn wthkhpy shTyn daey arykhya yth wthebd
You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

ותתן יתיה קדם פרכתא די על ארונא דסהדותא לקדם כפרתא די על סהדותא די אזמן מימרי לך תמן:
thmn lk mymry azmn dy shdwtha el dy kprtha lqdm dshdwtha arwna el dy prktha qdm ythyh wththn
You shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the covenant, before the mercy seat that is over the covenant, where I will meet with you.

ויקטר עלוהי אהרן קטרת בוסמין בצפר בצפר באתקנותיה ית בוציניא יסקנה:
ysqnh bwtsynya yth bathqnwthyh btspr btspr bwsmyn qTrth ahrn elwhy wyqTr
Aaron shall burn incense of sweet spices on it every morning. When he tends the lamps, he shall burn it.

ובאדלקות אהרן ית בוציניא בין שמשיא יסקנה קטרת בוסמיא תדירא קדם יי לדריכון:
ldrykwn yy qdm thdyra bwsmya qTrth ysqnh shmshya byn bwtsynya yth ahrn wbadlqwth
When Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before Yahweh throughout your generations.

לא תסקון עלוהי קטרת בוסמין נוכראין ועלתא ומנחתא ונסכא לא תנסכון עלוהי:
elwhy thnskwn la wnska wmnkhtha weltha nwkrayn bwsmyn qTrth elwhy thsqwn la
You shall offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt offering, nor meal offering; and you shall pour no drink offering on it.

ויכפר אהרן על קרנוהי חדא בשתא מדמא חטאת כפוריא חדא בשתא יכפר עלוהי לדריכון קדש קודשין הוא קדם יי:
yy qdm hwa qwdshyn qdsh ldrykwn elwhy ykpr bshtha khda kpwrya khTath mdma bshtha khda qrnwhy el ahrn wykpr
Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once in the year; with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once in the year he shall make atonement for it throughout your generations. It is most holy to Yahweh.”

ארי תקבל ית חשבן בני ישראל למניניהון ויתנון גבר פרקן נפשיה קדם יי כד תמני יתהון ולא יהי בהון מותא כד תמני יתהון:
ythhwn thmny kd mwtha bhwn yhy wla ythhwn thmny kd yy qdm npshyh prqn gbr wythnwn lmnynyhwn yshral bny khshbn yth thqbl ary
“When you take a census of the children of Israel, according to those who are counted among them, then each man shall give a ransom for his soul to Yahweh when you count them, that there be no plague among them when you count them.

דין יתנון כל דעבר על מניניא פלגות סלעא בסלעי קודשא עסרין מעין סלעא פלגות סלעא אפרשותא קדם יי:
yy qdm aprshwtha slea plgwth slea meyn esryn qwdsha bsley slea plgwth mnynya el debr kl ythnwn dyn
They shall give this, everyone who passes over to those who are counted, half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs ); half a shekel for an offering to Yahweh.

כל דעבר על מניניא מבר עסרין שנין ולעלא יתן אפרשותא קדם יי:
yy qdm aprshwtha ythn wlela shnyn esryn mbr mnynya el debr kl
Everyone who passes over to those who are counted, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the offering to Yahweh.

דעתיר לא יסגי ודמסכן לא יזער מפלגות סלעא למתן ית אפרשותא קדם יי לכפרא על נפשתיכון:
npshthykwn el lkpra yy qdm aprshwtha yth lmthn slea mplgwth yzer la wdmskn ysgy la dethyr
The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when they give the offering of Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.

ותסב ית כסף כפוריא מן בני ישראל ותתן יתיה על פלחן משכן זמנא ויהי לבני ישראל לדכרנא קדם יי לכפרא על נפשתיכון:
npshthykwn el lkpra yy qdm ldkrna yshral lbny wyhy zmna mshkn plkhn el ythyh wththn yshral bny mn kpwrya ksp yth wthsb
You shall take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the Tent of Meeting; that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.”

ותעבד כיורא דנחשא ובסיסיה נחשא לקדוש ותתן יתיה בין משכן זמנא ובין מדבחא ותתן תמן מיא:
mya thmn wththn mdbkha wbyn zmna mshkn byn ythyh wththn lqdwsh nkhsha wbsysyh dnkhsha kywra wthebd
“You shall also make a basin of bronze, and its base of bronze, in which to wash. You shall put it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.

ויקדשון אהרן ובנוהי מניה ית ידיהון וית רגליהון:
rglyhwn wyth ydyhwn yth mnyh wbnwhy ahrn wyqdshwn
Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in it.
20
במיעלהון למשכן זמנא יקדשון מיא ולא ימותון או במקרבהון למדבחא לשמשא לאסקא קרבנא קדם יי:
yy qdm qrbna lasqa lshmsha lmdbkha bmqrbhwn aw ymwthwn wla mya yqdshwn zmna lmshkn bmyelhwn
When they go into the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water, that they don’t die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
21
ויקדשון ידיהון ורגליהון ולא ימותון ותהי להון קים עלם ליה ולבנוהי לדריהון:
ldryhwn wlbnwhy lyh elm qym lhwn wthhy ymwthwn wla wrglyhwn ydyhwn wyqdshwn
So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die. This shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations.”
23
ואת סב לך בוסמין רישא מירא דכיא מתקל חמש מאה וקנמן בשם פלגותיה מתקל מאתן וחמשין וקנה בוסמא מתקל מאתן וחמשין:
wkhmshyn mathn mthql bwsma wqnh wkhmshyn mathn mthql plgwthyh bshm wqnmn mah khmsh mthql dkya myra rysha bwsmyn lk sb wath
“Also take fine spices: of liquid myrrh, five hundred shekels; and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty; and of fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;

וקציעתא מתקל חמש מאה בסלעי קודשא ומשח זיתא מלא הינא:
hyna mla zytha wmshkh qwdsha bsley mah khmsh mthql wqtsyetha
and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary; and a hin of olive oil.
25
ותעבד יתיה משח רבות קודשא בוסם מבסם עובד בוסמנו משח רבות קודשא יהא:
yha qwdsha rbwth mshkh bwsmnw ewbd mbsm bwsm qwdsha rbwth mshkh ythyh wthebd
You shall make it into a holy anointing oil, a perfume compounded after the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.

ותרבי ביה ית משכן זמנא וית ארונא דסהדותא:
dshdwtha arwna wyth zmna mshkn yth byh wthrby
You shall use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the covenant,
27
וית פתורא וית כל מנוהי וית מנרתא וית מנהא וית מדבחא דקטרת בוסמיא:
bwsmya dqTrth mdbkha wyth mnha wyth mnrtha wyth mnwhy kl wyth pthwra wyth
the table and all its articles, the lamp stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,

וית מדבח דעלתא וית כל מנוהי וית כיורא וית בסיסיה:
bsysyh wyth kywra wyth mnwhy kl wyth deltha mdbkh wyth
the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin with its base.
29
ותקדש יתהון ויהון קדש קודשיא כל דיקרב בהון יתקדש:
ythqdsh bhwn dyqrb kl qwdshya qdsh wyhwn ythhwn wthqdsh
You shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them shall be holy.
30
וית אהרן וית בנוהי תרבי ותקדש יתהון לשמשא קדמי:
qdmy lshmsha ythhwn wthqdsh thrby bnwhy wyth ahrn wyth
You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
31
ועם בני ישראל תמלל למימר משח רבות קודשא יהי דין קדמי לדריכון:
ldrykwn qdmy dyn yhy qwdsha rbwth mshkh lmymr thmll yshral bny wem
You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a holy anointing oil to me throughout your generations.
32
על בסרא דאנשא לא יתנסך ובדמותיה לא תעבדון כותיה קודשא הוא קודשא יהי לכון:
lkwn yhy qwdsha hwa qwdsha kwthyh thebdwn la wbdmwthyh ythnsk la dansha bsra el
It shall not be poured on man’s flesh, and do not make any like it, according to its composition. It is holy. It shall be holy to you.
33
גבר די יבסם דכותיה ודי יתן מניה על חלוני וישתצי מעמיה:
memyh wyshthtsy khlwny el mnyh ythn wdy dkwthyh ybsm dy gbr
Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.’”
34
ואמר יי למשה סב לך בוסמין נטופא וטופרא וחלבנתא בוסמין ולבונתא דכיתא מתקל במתקל יהי:
yhy bmthql mthql dkytha wlbwntha bwsmyn wkhlbntha wTwpra nTwpa bwsmyn lk sb lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, onycha, and galbanum: sweet spices with pure frankincense. There shall be an equal weight of each.
35
ותעבד יתה קטרת בוסמין בוסם עובד בוסמנו מערב דכי קודשא:
qwdsha dky merb bwsmnw ewbd bwsm bwsmyn qTrth ythh wthebd
You shall make incense of it, a perfume after the art of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy.
36
ותשחוק מנה ותדיק ותתן מנה קדם סהדותא במשכן זמנא די אזמן מימרי לך תמן קדש קודשין תהי לכון:
lkwn thhy qwdshyn qdsh thmn lk mymry azmn dy zmna bmshkn shdwtha qdm mnh wththn wthdyq mnh wthshkhwq
You shall beat some of it very small, and put some of it before the covenant in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be to you most holy.
37
וקטרת בוסמין די תעבד בדמותה לא תעבדון לכון קודשא תהי לך קדם יי:
yy qdm lk thhy qwdsha lkwn thebdwn la bdmwthh thebd dy bwsmyn wqTrth
You shall not make this incense, according to its composition, for yourselves: it shall be to you holy for Yahweh.
