ותעבד מדבחא לאקטרא עלוהי קטרת בוסמיא דאעי שטין תעבד יתיה:
wthebd mdbkha laqTra elwhy qTrth bwsmya daey shTyn thebd ythyh
“You shall make an altar to burn incense on. You shall make it of acacia wood.

אמתא ארכיה ואמתא פתיה מרבע יהי ותרתין אמין רומיה מניה קרנוהי:
amtha arkyh wamtha pthyh mrbe yhy wthrthyn amyn rwmyh mnyh qrnwhy
Its length shall be a cubit, and its width a cubit. It shall be square, and its height shall be two cubits. Its horns shall be of one piece with it.

ותחפי יתיה דהב דכי ית אגריה וית כתלוהי סחור סחור וית קרנוהי ותעבד ליה דיר דדהב סחור סחור:
wthkhpy ythyh dhb dky yth agryh wyth kthlwhy skhwr skhwr wyth qrnwhy wthebd lyh dyr ddhb skhwr skhwr
You shall overlay it with pure gold, its top, its sides around it, and its horns; and you shall make a gold molding around it.

ותרתין עזקן דדהב תעבד ליה מלרע לדיריה על תרתין זויתיה תעבד על תרין סטרוהי ויהי לאתרא לאריחיא למטל יתיה בהון:
wthrthyn ezqn ddhb thebd lyh mlre ldyryh el thrthyn zwythyh thebd el thryn sTrwhy wyhy lathra larykhya lmTl ythyh bhwn
You shall make two golden rings for it under its molding; on its two ribs, on its two sides you shall make them; and they shall be for places for poles with which to bear it.

ותעבד ית אריחיא דאעי שטין ותחפי יתהון דהבא:
wthebd yth arykhya daey shTyn wthkhpy ythhwn dhba
You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

ותתן יתיה קדם פרכתא די על ארונא דסהדותא לקדם כפרתא די על סהדותא די אזמן מימרי לך תמן:
wththn ythyh qdm prktha dy el arwna dshdwtha lqdm kprtha dy el shdwtha dy azmn mymry lk thmn
You shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the covenant, before the mercy seat that is over the covenant, where I will meet with you.

ויקטר עלוהי אהרן קטרת בוסמין בצפר בצפר באתקנותיה ית בוציניא יסקנה:
wyqTr elwhy ahrn qTrth bwsmyn btspr btspr bathqnwthyh yth bwtsynya ysqnh
Aaron shall burn incense of sweet spices on it every morning. When he tends the lamps, he shall burn it.

ובאדלקות אהרן ית בוציניא בין שמשיא יסקנה קטרת בוסמיא תדירא קדם יי לדריכון:
wbadlqwth ahrn yth bwtsynya byn shmshya ysqnh qTrth bwsmya thdyra qdm yy ldrykwn
When Aaron lights the lamps at evening, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before Yahweh throughout your generations.

לא תסקון עלוהי קטרת בוסמין נוכראין ועלתא ומנחתא ונסכא לא תנסכון עלוהי:
la thsqwn elwhy qTrth bwsmyn nwkrayn weltha wmnkhtha wnska la thnskwn elwhy
You shall offer no strange incense on it, nor burnt offering, nor meal offering; and you shall pour no drink offering on it.

ויכפר אהרן על קרנוהי חדא בשתא מדמא חטאת כפוריא חדא בשתא יכפר עלוהי לדריכון קדש קודשין הוא קדם יי:
wykpr ahrn el qrnwhy khda bshtha mdma khTath kpwrya khda bshtha ykpr elwhy ldrykwn qdsh qwdshyn hwa qdm yy
Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once in the year; with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once in the year he shall make atonement for it throughout your generations. It is most holy to Yahweh.”

ארי תקבל ית חשבן בני ישראל למניניהון ויתנון גבר פרקן נפשיה קדם יי כד תמני יתהון ולא יהי בהון מותא כד תמני יתהון:
ary thqbl yth khshbn bny yshral lmnynyhwn wythnwn gbr prqn npshyh qdm yy kd thmny ythhwn wla yhy bhwn mwtha kd thmny ythhwn
“When you take a census of the children of Israel, according to those who are counted among them, then each man shall give a ransom for his soul to Yahweh when you count them, that there be no plague among them when you count them.

דין יתנון כל דעבר על מניניא פלגות סלעא בסלעי קודשא עסרין מעין סלעא פלגות סלעא אפרשותא קדם יי:
dyn ythnwn kl debr el mnynya plgwth slea bsley qwdsha esryn meyn slea plgwth slea aprshwtha qdm yy
They shall give this, everyone who passes over to those who are counted, half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs ); half a shekel for an offering to Yahweh.

כל דעבר על מניניא מבר עסרין שנין ולעלא יתן אפרשותא קדם יי:
kl debr el mnynya mbr esryn shnyn wlela ythn aprshwtha qdm yy
Everyone who passes over to those who are counted, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the offering to Yahweh.

דעתיר לא יסגי ודמסכן לא יזער מפלגות סלעא למתן ית אפרשותא קדם יי לכפרא על נפשתיכון:
dethyr la ysgy wdmskn la yzer mplgwth slea lmthn yth aprshwtha qdm yy lkpra el npshthykwn
The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when they give the offering of Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.

ותסב ית כסף כפוריא מן בני ישראל ותתן יתיה על פלחן משכן זמנא ויהי לבני ישראל לדכרנא קדם יי לכפרא על נפשתיכון:
wthsb yth ksp kpwrya mn bny yshral wththn ythyh el plkhn mshkn zmna wyhy lbny yshral ldkrna qdm yy lkpra el npshthykwn
You shall take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the Tent of Meeting; that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.”

ותעבד כיורא דנחשא ובסיסיה נחשא לקדוש ותתן יתיה בין משכן זמנא ובין מדבחא ותתן תמן מיא:
wthebd kywra dnkhsha wbsysyh nkhsha lqdwsh wththn ythyh byn mshkn zmna wbyn mdbkha wththn thmn mya
“You shall also make a basin of bronze, and its base of bronze, in which to wash. You shall put it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it.

ויקדשון אהרן ובנוהי מניה ית ידיהון וית רגליהון:
wyqdshwn ahrn wbnwhy mnyh yth ydyhwn wyth rglyhwn
Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in it.
20
במיעלהון למשכן זמנא יקדשון מיא ולא ימותון או במקרבהון למדבחא לשמשא לאסקא קרבנא קדם יי:
bmyelhwn lmshkn zmna yqdshwn mya wla ymwthwn aw bmqrbhwn lmdbkha lshmsha lasqa qrbna qdm yy
When they go into the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water, that they don’t die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

ויקדשון ידיהון ורגליהון ולא ימותון ותהי להון קים עלם ליה ולבנוהי לדריהון:
wyqdshwn ydyhwn wrglyhwn wla ymwthwn wthhy lhwn qym elm lyh wlbnwhy ldryhwn
So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they not die. This shall be a statute forever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations.”

ומליל יי עם משה למימר:
wmlyl yy em mshh lmymr
Moreover Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

ואת סב לך בוסמין רישא מירא דכיא מתקל חמש מאה וקנמן בשם פלגותיה מתקל מאתן וחמשין וקנה בוסמא מתקל מאתן וחמשין:
wath sb lk bwsmyn rysha myra dkya mthql khmsh mah wqnmn bshm plgwthyh mthql mathn wkhmshyn wqnh bwsma mthql mathn wkhmshyn
“Also take fine spices: of liquid myrrh, five hundred shekels; and of fragrant cinnamon half as much, even two hundred and fifty; and of fragrant cane, two hundred and fifty;

וקציעתא מתקל חמש מאה בסלעי קודשא ומשח זיתא מלא הינא:
wqtsyetha mthql khmsh mah bsley qwdsha wmshkh zytha mla hyna
and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary; and a hin of olive oil.
25
ותעבד יתיה משח רבות קודשא בוסם מבסם עובד בוסמנו משח רבות קודשא יהא:
wthebd ythyh mshkh rbwth qwdsha bwsm mbsm ewbd bwsmnw mshkh rbwth qwdsha yha
You shall make it into a holy anointing oil, a perfume compounded after the art of the perfumer: it shall be a holy anointing oil.

ותרבי ביה ית משכן זמנא וית ארונא דסהדותא:
wthrby byh yth mshkn zmna wyth arwna dshdwtha
You shall use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the covenant,
27
וית פתורא וית כל מנוהי וית מנרתא וית מנהא וית מדבחא דקטרת בוסמיא:
wyth pthwra wyth kl mnwhy wyth mnrtha wyth mnha wyth mdbkha dqTrth bwsmya
the table and all its articles, the lamp stand and its accessories, the altar of incense,

וית מדבח דעלתא וית כל מנוהי וית כיורא וית בסיסיה:
wyth mdbkh deltha wyth kl mnwhy wyth kywra wyth bsysyh
the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin with its base.
29
ותקדש יתהון ויהון קדש קודשיא כל דיקרב בהון יתקדש:
wthqdsh ythhwn wyhwn qdsh qwdshya kl dyqrb bhwn ythqdsh
You shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy. Whatever touches them shall be holy.
30
וית אהרן וית בנוהי תרבי ותקדש יתהון לשמשא קדמי:
wyth ahrn wyth bnwhy thrby wthqdsh ythhwn lshmsha qdmy
You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
31
ועם בני ישראל תמלל למימר משח רבות קודשא יהי דין קדמי לדריכון:
wem bny yshral thmll lmymr mshkh rbwth qwdsha yhy dyn qdmy ldrykwn
You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘This shall be a holy anointing oil to me throughout your generations.
32
על בסרא דאנשא לא יתנסך ובדמותיה לא תעבדון כותיה קודשא הוא קודשא יהי לכון:
el bsra dansha la ythnsk wbdmwthyh la thebdwn kwthyh qwdsha hwa qwdsha yhy lkwn
It shall not be poured on man’s flesh, and do not make any like it, according to its composition. It is holy. It shall be holy to you.
33
גבר די יבסם דכותיה ודי יתן מניה על חלוני וישתצי מעמיה:
gbr dy ybsm dkwthyh wdy ythn mnyh el khlwny wyshthtsy memyh
Whoever compounds any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, he shall be cut off from his people.’”
34
ואמר יי למשה סב לך בוסמין נטופא וטופרא וחלבנתא בוסמין ולבונתא דכיתא מתקל במתקל יהי:
wamr yy lmshh sb lk bwsmyn nTwpa wTwpra wkhlbntha bwsmyn wlbwntha dkytha mthql bmthql yhy
Yahweh said to Moses, “Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, onycha, and galbanum: sweet spices with pure frankincense. There shall be an equal weight of each.
35
ותעבד יתה קטרת בוסמין בוסם עובד בוסמנו מערב דכי קודשא:
wthebd ythh qTrth bwsmyn bwsm ewbd bwsmnw merb dky qwdsha
You shall make incense of it, a perfume after the art of the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy.
36
ותשחוק מנה ותדיק ותתן מנה קדם סהדותא במשכן זמנא די אזמן מימרי לך תמן קדש קודשין תהי לכון:
wthshkhwq mnh wthdyq wththn mnh qdm shdwtha bmshkn zmna dy azmn mymry lk thmn qdsh qwdshyn thhy lkwn
You shall beat some of it very small, and put some of it before the covenant in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet with you. It shall be to you most holy.
37
וקטרת בוסמין די תעבד בדמותה לא תעבדון לכון קודשא תהי לך קדם יי:
wqTrth bwsmyn dy thebd bdmwthh la thebdwn lkwn qwdsha thhy lk qdm yy
You shall not make this incense, according to its composition, for yourselves: it shall be to you holy for Yahweh.
38
גבר דיעבד דכותה לארחא בה וישתצי מעמיה:
gbr dyebd dkwthh larkha bh wyshthtsy memyh
Whoever shall make any like that, to smell of it, he shall be cut off from his people.”
