ואת קרב לותך ית אהרן אחוך וית בנוהי עמיה מגו בני ישראל לשמשא קדמי אהרן נדב ואביהוא אלעזר ואיתמר בני אהרן:
wath qrb lwthk yth ahrn akhwk wyth bnwhy emyh mgw bny yshral lshmsha qdmy ahrn ndb wabyhwa alezr waythmr bny ahrn
“Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office: Aaron, with Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

ותעבד לבושי קודשא לאהרן אחוך ליקר ולתשבחן:
wthebd lbwshy qwdsha lahrn akhwk lyqr wlthshbkhn
You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.

ואת תמלל עם כל חכימי לבא דאשלמית עמיה רוח חכמתא ויעבדון ית לבושי אהרן לקדשותיה לשמשא קדמי:
wath thmll em kl khkymy lba dashlmyth emyh rwkh khkmtha wyebdwn yth lbwshy ahrn lqdshwthyh lshmsha qdmy
You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

ואלין לבושיא די יעבדון חושנא ואפודא ומעילא וכתונא מרמצא מצנפתא והמינא ויעבדון לבושי קודשא לאהרן אחוך ולבנוהי לשמשא קדמי:
walyn lbwshya dy yebdwn khwshna wapwda wmeyla wkthwna mrmtsa mtsnptha whmyna wyebdwn lbwshy qwdsha lahrn akhwk wlbnwhy lshmsha qdmy
These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a fitted tunic, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

ואנון יסבון ית דהבא וית תכלא וית ארגונא וית צבע זהורי וית בוצא:
wanwn ysbwn yth dhba wyth thkla wyth argwna wyth tsbe zhwry wyth bwtsa
They shall use the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.

ויעבדון ית אפודא דהבא תכלא וארגונא צבע זהורי ובוץ שזיר עובד אמן:
wyebdwn yth apwda dhba thkla wargwna tsbe zhwry wbwts shzyr ewbd amn
“They shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.

תרתין כתפין מלפפן יהון ליה על תרין סטרוהי ויתלפף:
thrthyn kthpyn mlppn yhwn lyh el thryn sTrwhy wythlpp
It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.

והמין תקוניה די עלוהי כעובדוהי מניה יהי דהבא תכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי ובוץ שזיר:
whmyn thqwnyh dy elwhy kewbdwhy mnyh yhy dhba thkla wargwna wtsbe zhwry wbwts shzyr
The skillfully woven band, which is on it, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

ותסב ית תרתין אבני בורלא ותגלוף עליהן שמהת בני ישראל:
wthsb yth thrthyn abny bwrla wthglwp elyhn shmhth bny yshral
You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel.

שתא משמהתהון על אבנא חדא וית שמהת שתא דאשתארו על אבנא תניתא כתולדתהון:
shtha mshmhthhwn el abna khda wyth shmhth shtha dashtharw el abna thnytha kthwldthhwn
Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.

עובד אמן אבן טבא כתב מפרש כגלף דעזקא תגלוף ית תרתין אבניא על שמהת בני ישראל משקען מרמצן דדהב תעבד יתהון:
ewbd amn abn Tba kthb mprsh kglp dezqa thglwp yth thrthyn abnya el shmhth bny yshral mshqen mrmtsn ddhb thebd ythhwn
With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel. You shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.

ותשוי ית תרתין אבניא על כתפי אפודא אבני דכרנא לבני ישראל ויטול אהרן ית שמהתהון קדם יי על תרין כתפוהי לדכרנא:
wthshwy yth thrthyn abnya el kthpy apwda abny dkrna lbny yshral wyTwl ahrn yth shmhthhwn qdm yy el thryn kthpwhy ldkrna
You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel. Aaron shall bear their names before Yahweh on his two shoulders for a memorial.

ותרתין תכין דהב דכי מתחמן תעבד יתהון עובד גדילו ותתן ית תכיא גדילתא על מרמצתא:
wthrthyn thkyn dhb dky mthkhmn thebd ythhwn ewbd gdylw wththn yth thkya gdyltha el mrmtstha
and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work. You shall put the braided chains on the settings.

ותעבד חשן דינא עובד אמן כעובד אפודא תעבדניה דהבא תכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי ובוץ שזיר תעבד יתיה:
wthebd khshn dyna ewbd amn kewbd apwda thebdnyh dhba thkla wargwna wtsbe zhwry wbwts shzyr thebd ythyh
“You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.

מרבע יהי עיף זרתא ארכיה וזרתא פתיה:
mrbe yhy eyp zrtha arkyh wzrtha pthyh
It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length, and a span its width.
17
ותשלם ביה אשלמות אבנא ארבעא סדרין אבן טבא סדרא קדמאה סמקן ירקן וברקן סדרא חד:
wthshlm byh ashlmwth abna arbea sdryn abn Tba sdra qdmah smqn yrqn wbrqn sdra khd
You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;

וסדרא תנינא אזמרגדין ושבזיז וסבהלום:
wsdra thnyna azmrgdyn wshbzyz wsbhlwm
and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
19
וסדרא תליתאה קנכירי טרקיא ועין עגלא:
wsdra thlythah qnkyry Trqya weyn egla
and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
20
וסדרא רביעאה כרום ימא ובורלא ופנטרי מרמצן דדהב יהון באשלמותהון:
wsdra rbyeah krwm yma wbwrla wpnTry mrmtsn ddhb yhwn bashlmwthhwn
and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.

ואבניא יהוין על שמהת בני ישראל תרתי עסרי על שמהתהון כתב מפרש כגלוף דעזקא גבר על שמיה תהוין לתרין עסר שבטין:
wabnya yhwyn el shmhth bny yshral thrthy esry el shmhthhwn kthb mprsh kglwp dezqa gbr el shmyh thhwyn lthryn esr shbTyn
The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
22
ותעבד על חושנא תכין מתחמן עובד גדילו דהב דכי:
wthebd el khwshna thkyn mthkhmn ewbd gdylw dhb dky
You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.
23
ותעבד על חושנא תרתין עזקן דדהב ותתן ית תרתין עזקתא על תרין סטרי חושנא:
wthebd el khwshna thrthyn ezqn ddhb wththn yth thrthyn ezqtha el thryn sTry khwshna
You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.
24
ותתן ית תרתין גדילן דדהב על תרתין עזקתא לסטרי חושנא:
wththn yth thrthyn gdyln ddhb el thrthyn ezqtha lsTry khwshna
You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
25
וית תרתין גדילן דעל תרתין סטרוהי תתן על תרתין מרמצתא ותתן על כתפי אפודא לקבל אפוהי:
wyth thrthyn gdyln del thrthyn sTrwhy ththn el thrthyn mrmtstha wththn el kthpy apwda lqbl apwhy
The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.

ותעבד תרתין עזקן דדהב ותשוי יתהון על תרין סטרי חושנא על ספתיה די לעברא דאפודא מלגיו:
wthebd thrthyn ezqn ddhb wthshwy ythhwn el thryn sTry khwshna el spthyh dy lebra dapwda mlgyw
You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
27
ותעבד תרתין עזקן דדהב ותתן יתהון על תרתין כתפי אפודא מלרע מלקבל אפוהי לקבל בית לופי מעלוי להמין אפודא:
wthebd thrthyn ezqn ddhb wththn ythhwn el thrthyn kthpy apwda mlre mlqbl apwhy lqbl byth lwpy melwy lhmyn apwda
You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
28
ויחדון ית חושנא מעזקתיה לעזקתא דאפודא בחוטא דתכלתא למהוי על המין אפודא ולא יתפרק חושנא מעלוי אפודא:
wykhdwn yth khwshna mezqthyh lezqtha dapwda bkhwTa dthkltha lmhwy el hmyn apwda wla ythprq khwshna melwy apwda
They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.
29
ויטול אהרן ית שמהת בני ישראל בחשן דינא על לביה במעליה לקודשא לדוכרנא קדם יי תדירא:
wyTwl ahrn yth shmhth bny yshral bkhshn dyna el lbyh bmelyh lqwdsha ldwkrna qdm yy thdyra
Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.
30
ותתן בחשן דינא ית אוריא וית תמיא ויהון על לבא דאהרן במעליה קדם יי ויטול אהרן ית דינא דבני ישראל על לביה קדם יי תדירא:
wththn bkhshn dyna yth awrya wyth thmya wyhwn el lba dahrn bmelyh qdm yy wyTwl ahrn yth dyna dbny yshral el lbyh qdm yy thdyra
You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before Yahweh. Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before Yahweh continually.
31
ותעבד ית מעילא דאפודא גמיר תכלא:
wthebd yth meyla dapwda gmyr thkla
“You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32
ויהי פום רישיה כפיל לגויה תורא יהי מקף לפומיה סחור סחור עובד מחי כפום שרין יהי ליה לא יתבזע:
wyhy pwm ryshyh kpyl lgwyh thwra yhy mqp lpwmyh skhwr skhwr ewbd mkhy kpwm shryn yhy lyh la ythbze
It shall have a hole for the head in the middle of it. It shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.
33
ותעבד על שיפולוהי רמוני תכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי על שיפולוהי סחור סחור וזגין דדהבא ביניהון סחור סחור:
wthebd el shypwlwhy rmwny thkla wargwna wtsbe zhwry el shypwlwhy skhwr skhwr wzgyn ddhba bynyhwn skhwr skhwr
On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, all around its hem; with bells of gold between and around them:
34
זגא דדהבא ורמונא זגא דדהבא ורמונא על שיפולי מעילא סחור סחור:
zga ddhba wrmwna zga ddhba wrmwna el shypwly meyla skhwr skhwr
a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.
35
ויהי על אהרן לשמשא וישתמע קליה במעליה לקודשא קדם יי ובמפקיה ולא ימות:
wyhy el ahrn lshmsha wyshthme qlyh bmelyh lqwdsha qdm yy wbmpqyh wla ymwth
It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before Yahweh, and when he comes out, that he not die.
36
ותעבד ציצא דדהב דכי ותגלוף עלוהי כתב מפרש קדש ליי:
wthebd tsytsa ddhb dky wthglwp elwhy kthb mprsh qdsh lyy
“You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, ‘HOLY TO YAHWEH.’
37
ותשוי יתיה על חוטא דתכלתא ויהי על מצנפתא לקבל אפי מצנפתא יהי:
wthshwy ythyh el khwTa dthkltha wyhy el mtsnptha lqbl apy mtsnptha yhy
You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash. It shall be on the front of the sash.
38
ויהי על בית עינוהי דאהרן ויטול אהרן ית עוית קודשיא די יקדשון בני ישראל לכל מתנת קודשיהון ויהי על בית עינוהי תדירא לרעוא להון קדם יי:
wyhy el byth eynwhy dahrn wyTwl ahrn yth ewyth qwdshya dy yqdshwn bny yshral lkl mthnth qwdshyhwn wyhy el byth eynwhy thdyra lrewa lhwn qdm yy
It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.
39
ותרמץ כתונא בוצא ותעבד מצנפתא דבוצא והמינא תעבד עובד ציר:
wthrmts kthwna bwtsa wthebd mtsnptha dbwtsa whmyna thebd ewbd tsyr
You shall weave the tunic with fine linen. You shall make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.
40
ולבני אהרן תעבד כתונין ותעבד להון המינין וכובעין תעבד להון ליקר ולתשבחן:
wlbny ahrn thebd kthwnyn wthebd lhwn hmynyn wkwbeyn thebd lhwn lyqr wlthshbkhn
“You shall make tunics for Aaron’s sons. You shall make sashes for them. You shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.
41
ותלבש יתהון ית אהרן אחוך וית בנוהי עמיה ותרבי יתהון ותקרב ית קרבנהון ותקדש יתהון וישמשון קדמי:
wthlbsh ythhwn yth ahrn akhwk wyth bnwhy emyh wthrby ythhwn wthqrb yth qrbnhwn wthqdsh ythhwn wyshmshwn qdmy
You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
42
ועבד להון מכנסין דבוץ לכסאה בשר עריתא מחרצן ועד ירכן יהון:
webd lhwn mknsyn dbwts lksah bshr erytha mkhrtsn wed yrkn yhwn
You shall make them linen pants to cover their naked flesh. They shall reach from the waist even to the thighs.
43
ויהון על אהרן ועל בנוהי במעלהון למשכן זמנא או במקרבהון למדבחא לשמשא בקודשא ולא יקבלון חובא וימותון קים עלם ליה ולבנוהי בתרוהי:
wyhwn el ahrn wel bnwhy bmelhwn lmshkn zmna aw bmqrbhwn lmdbkha lshmsha bqwdsha wla yqblwn khwba wymwthwn qym elm lyh wlbnwhy bthrwhy
They shall be on Aaron and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they don’t bear iniquity, and die. This shall be a statute forever to him and to his offspring after him.
