ואת קרב לותך ית אהרן אחוך וית בנוהי עמיה מגו בני ישראל לשמשא קדמי אהרן נדב ואביהוא אלעזר ואיתמר בני אהרן:
ahrn bny waythmr alezr wabyhwa ndb ahrn qdmy lshmsha yshral bny mgw emyh bnwhy wyth akhwk ahrn yth lwthk qrb wath
“Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office: Aaron, with Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

ותעבד לבושי קודשא לאהרן אחוך ליקר ולתשבחן:
wlthshbkhn lyqr akhwk lahrn qwdsha lbwshy wthebd
You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.

ואת תמלל עם כל חכימי לבא דאשלמית עמיה רוח חכמתא ויעבדון ית לבושי אהרן לקדשותיה לשמשא קדמי:
qdmy lshmsha lqdshwthyh ahrn lbwshy yth wyebdwn khkmtha rwkh emyh dashlmyth lba khkymy kl em thmll wath
You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron’s garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

ואלין לבושיא די יעבדון חושנא ואפודא ומעילא וכתונא מרמצא מצנפתא והמינא ויעבדון לבושי קודשא לאהרן אחוך ולבנוהי לשמשא קדמי:
qdmy lshmsha wlbnwhy akhwk lahrn qwdsha lbwshy wyebdwn whmyna mtsnptha mrmtsa wkthwna wmeyla wapwda khwshna yebdwn dy lbwshya walyn
These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, an ephod, a robe, a fitted tunic, a turban, and a sash. They shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.

ואנון יסבון ית דהבא וית תכלא וית ארגונא וית צבע זהורי וית בוצא:
bwtsa wyth zhwry tsbe wyth argwna wyth thkla wyth dhba yth ysbwn wanwn
They shall use the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.

ויעבדון ית אפודא דהבא תכלא וארגונא צבע זהורי ובוץ שזיר עובד אמן:
amn ewbd shzyr wbwts zhwry tsbe wargwna thkla dhba apwda yth wyebdwn
“They shall make the ephod of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.

תרתין כתפין מלפפן יהון ליה על תרין סטרוהי ויתלפף:
wythlpp sTrwhy thryn el lyh yhwn mlppn kthpyn thrthyn
It shall have two shoulder straps joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.

והמין תקוניה די עלוהי כעובדוהי מניה יהי דהבא תכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי ובוץ שזיר:
shzyr wbwts zhwry wtsbe wargwna thkla dhba yhy mnyh kewbdwhy elwhy dy thqwnyh whmyn
The skillfully woven band, which is on it, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen.

ותסב ית תרתין אבני בורלא ותגלוף עליהן שמהת בני ישראל:
yshral bny shmhth elyhn wthglwp bwrla abny thrthyn yth wthsb
You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel.

שתא משמהתהון על אבנא חדא וית שמהת שתא דאשתארו על אבנא תניתא כתולדתהון:
kthwldthhwn thnytha abna el dashtharw shtha shmhth wyth khda abna el mshmhthhwn shtha
Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.

עובד אמן אבן טבא כתב מפרש כגלף דעזקא תגלוף ית תרתין אבניא על שמהת בני ישראל משקען מרמצן דדהב תעבד יתהון:
ythhwn thebd ddhb mrmtsn mshqen yshral bny shmhth el abnya thrthyn yth thglwp dezqa kglp mprsh kthb Tba abn amn ewbd
With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel. You shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.

ותשוי ית תרתין אבניא על כתפי אפודא אבני דכרנא לבני ישראל ויטול אהרן ית שמהתהון קדם יי על תרין כתפוהי לדכרנא:
ldkrna kthpwhy thryn el yy qdm shmhthhwn yth ahrn wyTwl yshral lbny dkrna abny apwda kthpy el abnya thrthyn yth wthshwy
You shall put the two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel. Aaron shall bear their names before Yahweh on his two shoulders for a memorial.

ותרתין תכין דהב דכי מתחמן תעבד יתהון עובד גדילו ותתן ית תכיא גדילתא על מרמצתא:
mrmtstha el gdyltha thkya yth wththn gdylw ewbd ythhwn thebd mthkhmn dky dhb thkyn wthrthyn
and two chains of pure gold; you shall make them like cords of braided work. You shall put the braided chains on the settings.

ותעבד חשן דינא עובד אמן כעובד אפודא תעבדניה דהבא תכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי ובוץ שזיר תעבד יתיה:
ythyh thebd shzyr wbwts zhwry wtsbe wargwna thkla dhba thebdnyh apwda kewbd amn ewbd dyna khshn wthebd
“You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, you shall make it.

מרבע יהי עיף זרתא ארכיה וזרתא פתיה:
pthyh wzrtha arkyh zrtha eyp yhy mrbe
It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length, and a span its width.
17
ותשלם ביה אשלמות אבנא ארבעא סדרין אבן טבא סדרא קדמאה סמקן ירקן וברקן סדרא חד:
khd sdra wbrqn yrqn smqn qdmah sdra Tba abn sdryn arbea abna ashlmwth byh wthshlm
You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;

וסדרא תנינא אזמרגדין ושבזיז וסבהלום:
wsbhlwm wshbzyz azmrgdyn thnyna wsdra
and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;
19
וסדרא תליתאה קנכירי טרקיא ועין עגלא:
egla weyn Trqya qnkyry thlythah wsdra
and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
20
וסדרא רביעאה כרום ימא ובורלא ופנטרי מרמצן דדהב יהון באשלמותהון:
bashlmwthhwn yhwn ddhb mrmtsn wpnTry wbwrla yma krwm rbyeah wsdra
and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. They shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.

ואבניא יהוין על שמהת בני ישראל תרתי עסרי על שמהתהון כתב מפרש כגלוף דעזקא גבר על שמיה תהוין לתרין עסר שבטין:
shbTyn esr lthryn thhwyn shmyh el gbr dezqa kglwp mprsh kthb shmhthhwn el esry thrthy yshral bny shmhth el yhwyn wabnya
The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.
22
ותעבד על חושנא תכין מתחמן עובד גדילו דהב דכי:
dky dhb gdylw ewbd mthkhmn thkyn khwshna el wthebd
You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.
23
ותעבד על חושנא תרתין עזקן דדהב ותתן ית תרתין עזקתא על תרין סטרי חושנא:
khwshna sTry thryn el ezqtha thrthyn yth wththn ddhb ezqn thrthyn khwshna el wthebd
You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

ותתן ית תרתין גדילן דדהב על תרתין עזקתא לסטרי חושנא:
khwshna lsTry ezqtha thrthyn el ddhb gdyln thrthyn yth wththn
You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.
25
וית תרתין גדילן דעל תרתין סטרוהי תתן על תרתין מרמצתא ותתן על כתפי אפודא לקבל אפוהי:
apwhy lqbl apwda kthpy el wththn mrmtstha thrthyn el ththn sTrwhy thrthyn del gdyln thrthyn wyth
The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder straps of the ephod in its forepart.

ותעבד תרתין עזקן דדהב ותשוי יתהון על תרין סטרי חושנא על ספתיה די לעברא דאפודא מלגיו:
mlgyw dapwda lebra dy spthyh el khwshna sTry thryn el ythhwn wthshwy ddhb ezqn thrthyn wthebd
You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.
27
ותעבד תרתין עזקן דדהב ותתן יתהון על תרתין כתפי אפודא מלרע מלקבל אפוהי לקבל בית לופי מעלוי להמין אפודא:
apwda lhmyn melwy lwpy byth lqbl apwhy mlqbl mlre apwda kthpy thrthyn el ythhwn wththn ddhb ezqn thrthyn wthebd
You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder straps of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.
28
ויחדון ית חושנא מעזקתיה לעזקתא דאפודא בחוטא דתכלתא למהוי על המין אפודא ולא יתפרק חושנא מעלוי אפודא:
apwda melwy khwshna ythprq wla apwda hmyn el lmhwy dthkltha bkhwTa dapwda lezqtha mezqthyh khwshna yth wykhdwn
They shall bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.
29
ויטול אהרן ית שמהת בני ישראל בחשן דינא על לביה במעליה לקודשא לדוכרנא קדם יי תדירא:
thdyra yy qdm ldwkrna lqwdsha bmelyh lbyh el dyna bkhshn yshral bny shmhth yth ahrn wyTwl
Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.
30
ותתן בחשן דינא ית אוריא וית תמיא ויהון על לבא דאהרן במעליה קדם יי ויטול אהרן ית דינא דבני ישראל על לביה קדם יי תדירא:
thdyra yy qdm lbyh el yshral dbny dyna yth ahrn wyTwl yy qdm bmelyh dahrn lba el wyhwn thmya wyth awrya yth dyna bkhshn wththn
You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before Yahweh. Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before Yahweh continually.
31
ותעבד ית מעילא דאפודא גמיר תכלא:
thkla gmyr dapwda meyla yth wthebd
“You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32
ויהי פום רישיה כפיל לגויה תורא יהי מקף לפומיה סחור סחור עובד מחי כפום שרין יהי ליה לא יתבזע:
ythbze la lyh yhy shryn kpwm mkhy ewbd skhwr skhwr lpwmyh mqp yhy thwra lgwyh kpyl ryshyh pwm wyhy
It shall have a hole for the head in the middle of it. It shall have a binding of woven work around its hole, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.
33
ותעבד על שיפולוהי רמוני תכלא וארגונא וצבע זהורי על שיפולוהי סחור סחור וזגין דדהבא ביניהון סחור סחור:
skhwr skhwr bynyhwn ddhba wzgyn skhwr skhwr shypwlwhy el zhwry wtsbe wargwna thkla rmwny shypwlwhy el wthebd
On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, all around its hem; with bells of gold between and around them:
34
זגא דדהבא ורמונא זגא דדהבא ורמונא על שיפולי מעילא סחור סחור:
skhwr skhwr meyla shypwly el wrmwna ddhba zga wrmwna ddhba zga
a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, around the hem of the robe.
35
ויהי על אהרן לשמשא וישתמע קליה במעליה לקודשא קדם יי ובמפקיה ולא ימות:
ymwth wla wbmpqyh yy qdm lqwdsha bmelyh qlyh wyshthme lshmsha ahrn el wyhy
It shall be on Aaron to minister: and its sound shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before Yahweh, and when he comes out, that he not die.
36
ותעבד ציצא דדהב דכי ותגלוף עלוהי כתב מפרש קדש ליי:
lyy qdsh mprsh kthb elwhy wthglwp dky ddhb tsytsa wthebd
“You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, ‘HOLY TO YAHWEH.’
37
ותשוי יתיה על חוטא דתכלתא ויהי על מצנפתא לקבל אפי מצנפתא יהי:
yhy mtsnptha apy lqbl mtsnptha el wyhy dthkltha khwTa el ythyh wthshwy
You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash. It shall be on the front of the sash.
38
ויהי על בית עינוהי דאהרן ויטול אהרן ית עוית קודשיא די יקדשון בני ישראל לכל מתנת קודשיהון ויהי על בית עינוהי תדירא לרעוא להון קדם יי:
yy qdm lhwn lrewa thdyra eynwhy byth el wyhy qwdshyhwn mthnth lkl yshral bny yqdshwn dy qwdshya ewyth yth ahrn wyTwl dahrn eynwhy byth el wyhy
It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.
39
ותרמץ כתונא בוצא ותעבד מצנפתא דבוצא והמינא תעבד עובד ציר:
tsyr ewbd thebd whmyna dbwtsa mtsnptha wthebd bwtsa kthwna wthrmts
You shall weave the tunic with fine linen. You shall make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.
40
ולבני אהרן תעבד כתונין ותעבד להון המינין וכובעין תעבד להון ליקר ולתשבחן:
wlthshbkhn lyqr lhwn thebd wkwbeyn hmynyn lhwn wthebd kthwnyn thebd ahrn wlbny
“You shall make tunics for Aaron’s sons. You shall make sashes for them. You shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.
41
ותלבש יתהון ית אהרן אחוך וית בנוהי עמיה ותרבי יתהון ותקרב ית קרבנהון ותקדש יתהון וישמשון קדמי:
qdmy wyshmshwn ythhwn wthqdsh qrbnhwn yth wthqrb ythhwn wthrby emyh bnwhy wyth akhwk ahrn yth ythhwn wthlbsh
You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office.
42
ועבד להון מכנסין דבוץ לכסאה בשר עריתא מחרצן ועד ירכן יהון:
yhwn yrkn wed mkhrtsn erytha bshr lksah dbwts mknsyn lhwn webd
You shall make them linen pants to cover their naked flesh. They shall reach from the waist even to the thighs.

ויהון על אהרן ועל בנוהי במעלהון למשכן זמנא או במקרבהון למדבחא לשמשא בקודשא ולא יקבלון חובא וימותון קים עלם ליה ולבנוהי בתרוהי:
bthrwhy wlbnwhy lyh elm qym wymwthwn khwba yqblwn wla bqwdsha lshmsha lmdbkha bmqrbhwn aw zmna lmshkn bmelhwn bnwhy wel ahrn el wyhwn
They shall be on Aaron and on his sons, when they go in to the Tent of Meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place, that they don’t bear iniquity, and die. This shall be a statute forever to him and to his offspring after him.
