ולמשה אמר סק לקדם יי את ואהרן נדב ואביהוא ושבעין מסבי ישראל ותסגדון מרחיק:
mrkhyq wthsgdwn yshral msby wshbeyn wabyhwa ndb wahrn ath yy lqdm sq amr wlmshh
He said to Moses, “Come up to Yahweh, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship from a distance.

ויתקרב משה בלחודוהי לקדם יי ואנון לא יתקרבון ועמא לא יסקון עמה:
emh ysqwn la wema ythqrbwn la wanwn yy lqdm blkhwdwhy mshh wythqrb
Moses alone shall come near to Yahweh, but they shall not come near. The people shall not go up with him.”

ואתא משה ואשתעי לעמא ית כל פתגמיא דיי וית כל דיניא ואתיב כל עמא קלא חד ואמרו כל פתגמיא די מליל יי נעבד:
nebd yy mlyl dy pthgmya kl wamrw khd qla ema kl wathyb dynya kl wyth dyy pthgmya kl yth lema washthey mshh watha
Moses came and told the people all Yahweh’s words, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which Yahweh has spoken will we do.”

וכתב משה ית כל פתגמיא דיי ואקדם בצפרא ובנא מדבחא בשפולי טורא ותרתא עשרי קמן לתרי עסר שבטיא דישראל:
dyshral shbTya esr lthry qmn eshry wthrtha Twra bshpwly mdbkha wbna btspra waqdm dyy pthgmya kl yth mshh wkthb
Moses wrote all Yahweh’s words, then rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the base of the mountain, with twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

ושלח ית בוכרי בני ישראל ואסיקו עלון וקריבו נכסת קודשין קדם יי תורין:
thwryn yy qdm qwdshyn nksth wqrybw elwn wasyqw yshral bny bwkry yth wshlkh
He sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to Yahweh.

ונסיב משה פלגות דמא ושוי במזרקיא ופלגות דמא זרק על מדבחא:
mdbkha el zrq dma wplgwth bmzrqya wshwy dma plgwth mshh wnsyb
Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

ונסיב ספרא דקימא וקרא קדם עמא ואמרו כל די מליל יי נעבד ונקבל:
wnqbl nebd yy mlyl dy kl wamrw ema qdm wqra dqyma spra wnsyb
He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “We will do all that Yahweh has said, and be obedient.”

ונסיב משה ית דמא וזרק על מדבחא לכפרא על עמא ואמר הא דין דם קימא דגזר יי עמכון על כל פתגמיא האלין:
halyn pthgmya kl el emkwn yy dgzr qyma dm dyn ha wamr ema el lkpra mdbkha el wzrq dma yth mshh wnsyb
Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words.”

וסליק משה ואהרן נדב ואביהוא ושבעין מסבי ישראל
yshral msby wshbeyn wabyhwa ndb wahrn mshh wslyq
Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up.

וחזו ית יקר אלהא דישראל ותחות כרסא יקרה כעובד אבן טבא וכמחזי שמיא לברירו:
lbryrw shmya wkmkhzy Tba abn kewbd yqrh krsa wthkhwth dyshral alha yqr yth wkhzw
They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire stone, like the skies for clearness.

ולרברבי בני ישראל לא הוה נזקא וחזו ית יקרא דיי והוו חדן בקרבניהון דאתקבלו ברעוא כאלו אכלין ושתן:
wshthn aklyn kalw brewa dathqblw bqrbnyhwn khdn whww dyy yqra yth wkhzw nzqa hwh la yshral bny wlrbrby
He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel. They saw God, and ate and drank.

ואמר יי למשה סק לקדמי לטורא והוי תמן ואתן לך ית לוחי אבנא ואוריתא ותפקדתא דכתבית לאלופיהון:
lalwpyhwn dkthbyth wthpqdtha wawrytha abna lwkhy yth lk wathn thmn whwy lTwra lqdmy sq lmshh yy wamr
Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”

וקם משה ויהושע משמשנה וסליק משה לטורא דאתגלי עלוהי יקרא דיי:
dyy yqra elwhy dathgly lTwra mshh wslyq mshmshnh wyhwshe mshh wqm
Moses rose up with Joshua, his servant, and Moses went up onto God’s Mountain.

ולסביא אמר אוריכו לנא הכא עד דנתוב לותכון והא אהרן וחור עמכון מן דאית לה דינא יתקרב לקדמיהון:
lqdmyhwn ythqrb dyna lh dayth mn emkwn wkhwr ahrn wha lwthkwn dnthwb ed hka lna awrykw amr wlsbya
He said to the elders, “Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.”

וסלק משה לטורא וחפא עננא ית טורא:
Twra yth enna wkhpa lTwra mshh wslq
Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
16
ושרא יקרא דיי על טורא דסיני וחפהי עננא שתא יומין וקרא למשה ביומא שביעאה מגו עננא:
enna mgw shbyeah bywma lmshh wqra ywmyn shtha enna wkhphy dsyny Twra el dyy yqra wshra
Yahweh’s glory settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the middle of the cloud.

וחיזו יקרא דיי כחיזו אשא אכלא בריש טורא לעיני בני ישראל:
yshral bny leyny Twra brysh akla asha kkhyzw dyy yqra wkhyzw
The appearance of Yahweh’s glory was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.
