בכן שבח משה ובני ישראל ית תשבחתא הדא קדם יי ואמרו למימר נשבח ונודי קדם יי ארי אתגאי על גותניא וגאותא דילה היא סוסיא ורכבה רמא בימא:
byma rma wrkbh swsya hya dylh wgawtha gwthnya el athgay ary yy qdm wnwdy nshbkh lmymr wamrw yy qdm hda thshbkhtha yth yshral wbny mshh shbkh bkn
Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to Yahweh, and said, “I will sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.

תקפי ותשבחתי דחילא יי ואמר במימרה והוה לי לפרק דין אלהי ואבני לה מקדשא אלהא דאבהתי ואפלח קדמוהי:
qdmwhy waplkh dabhthy alha mqdsha lh wabny alhy dyn lprq ly whwh bmymrh wamr yy dkhyla wthshbkhthy thqpy
Yah is my strength and song. He has become my salvation. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

רתכי פרעה ומשריתה שדי בימא ושפר גברוהי אטבעו בימא דסוף:
dswp byma aTbew gbrwhy wshpr byma shdy wmshrythh preh rthky
He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Red Sea.

תהומיא חפו עליהון נחתו לעומקיא כאבנא:
kabna lewmqya nkhthw elyhwn khpw thhwmya
The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone.

ימינך יי אדירא בחילא ימינך יי תברת סנאה:
snah thbrth yy ymynk bkhyla adyra yy ymynk
Your right hand, Yahweh, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Yahweh, dashes the enemy in pieces.

ובסגי תקפך תברתנון לדקמו על עמך שלחת רוגזך שיציתינון כנורא לקשא:
lqsha knwra shytsythynwn rwgzk shlkhth emk el ldqmw thbrthnwn thqpk wbsgy
In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.

ובמימר פומך חכימו מיא קמו כשור אזליא קפו תהומין בלבא דימא:
dyma blba thhwmyn qpw azlya kshwr qmw mya khkymw pwmk wbmymr
With the blast of your nostrils, the waters were piled up. The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.

דהוה אמר סנאה ארדוף אדבק אפלג בזתא תשבע מנהון נפשי אשלוף חרבי תשיצינון ידי:
ydy thshytsynwn khrby ashlwp npshy mnhwn thshbe bztha aplg adbq ardwp snah amr dhwh
The enemy said, ‘I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder. My desire will be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword. My hand will destroy them.’

אמרת במימרך חפא עליהון ימא אשתקעו כאברא במין תקיפין:
thqypyn bmyn kabra ashthqew yma elyhwn khpa bmymrk amrth
You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

לית בר מנך דאת הוא אלהא יי לית בר מנך אלהא את אדיר בקודשא דחל תשבחן עבד פרישן:
pryshn ebd thshbkhn dkhl bqwdsha adyr ath alha mnk br lyth yy alha hwa dath mnk br lyth
Who is like you, Yahweh, among the gods? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

ארמת ימינך בלעתנון ארעא:
area blethnwn ymynk armth
You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.
13
דברהי בטבותך עמא דנן דפרקת סוברהי בתקפך לדירא דקדשך:
dqdshk ldyra bthqpk swbrhy dprqth dnn ema bTbwthk dbrhy
“You, in your loving kindness, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.

שמעו עממיא וזעו דחלא אחדתנון לדהוו יתבין בפלשת:
bplshth ythbyn ldhww akhdthnwn dkhla wzew emmya shmew
The peoples have heard. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold of the inhabitants of Philistia.

בכן אתבהילו רברבי אדום תקיפי מואב אחדתנון רתיתא אתברו כל דהוו יתבין בכנען:
bknen ythbyn dhww kl athbrw rthytha akhdthnwn mwab thqypy adwm rbrby athbhylw bkn
Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab. All the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.

תפיל עליהון אימתא ודחלתא בסגי תקפך ישתקון כאבנא עד דיעבר עמך יי ית ארנונא עד דיעבר עמא דנן די פרקתא ית ירדנא:
yrdna yth prqtha dy dnn ema dyebr ed arnwna yth yy emk dyebr ed kabna yshthqwn thqpk bsgy wdkhltha aymtha elyhwn thpyl
Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone, until your people pass over, Yahweh, until the people you have purchased pass over.

תעלנון ותשרינון בטורא דאחסנתך אתר מתקן לבית שכנתך אתקנתא יי מקדשא יי אתקנוהי ידיך:
ydyk athqnwhy yy mqdsha yy athqntha shknthk lbyth mthqn athr dakhsnthk bTwra wthshrynwn thelnwn
You will bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in: the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.

יי מלכותה קאם לעלם ולעלמי עלמיא:
elmya wlelmy lelm qam mlkwthh yy
Yahweh will reign forever and ever.”

ארי על סוסות פרעה ברתכוהי ובפרשוהי בימא ואתיב יי עליהון ית מי ימא ובני ישראל הליכו ביבשתא בגו ימא:
yma bgw bybshtha hlykw yshral wbny yma my yth elyhwn yy wathyb byma wbprshwhy brthkwhy preh swswth el ary
For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Yahweh brought back the waters of the sea on them; but the children of Israel walked on dry land in the middle of the sea.

ונסיבת מרים נביאתא אחתה דאהרן ית תפא בידה ונפקו כל נשיא בתרהא בתפין ובחנגין:
wbkhngyn bthpyn bthrha nshya kl wnpqw bydh thpa yth dahrn akhthh nbyatha mrym wnsybth
Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.

ומעניא להן מרים שבחו ואודו קדם יי ארי אתגאי על גותניא וגאותא דילה היא סוסיא ורכבה רמא בימא:
byma rma wrkbh swsya hya dylh wgawtha gwthnya el athgay ary yy qdm wawdw shbkhw mrym lhn wmenya
Miriam answered them, “Sing to Yahweh, for he has triumphed gloriously. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.”

ואטל משה ית ישראל מימא דסוף ונפקו למדברא דחגרא ואזלו תלתא יומין במדברא ולא אשכחו מיא:
mya ashkkhw wla bmdbra ywmyn thltha wazlw dkhgra lmdbra wnpqw dswp myma yshral yth mshh waTl
Moses led Israel onward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.

ואתו למרה ולא יכילו למשתי מיא ממרה ארי מרירין אנון על כן קרא שמה מרה:
mrh shmh qra kn el anwn mryryn ary mmrh mya lmshthy ykylw wla lmrh wathw
When they came to Marah, they couldn’t drink from the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore its name was called Marah.

ואתרעמו עמא על משה למימר מה נשתי:
nshthy mh lmymr mshh el ema wathremw
The people murmured against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

וצלי קדם יי ואלפה יי אעא ורמא למיא ובסימו מיא תמן גזר לה קים ודין ותמן נסיה:
nsyh wthmn wdyn qym lh gzr thmn mya wbsymw lmya wrma aea yy walph yy qdm wtsly
Then he cried to Yahweh. Yahweh showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there he tested them.

ואמר אם קבלא תקבל למימרא דיי אלהך ודכשר קדמוהי תעבד ותצית לפקודוהי ותטר כל קימוהי כל מרעין די שויתי במצרים לא אשוי עלך ארי אנא יי אסך:
ask yy ana ary elk ashwy la bmtsrym shwythy dy mreyn kl qymwhy kl wthTr lpqwdwhy wthtsyth thebd qdmwhy wdkshr alhk dyy lmymra thqbl qbla am wamr
He said, “If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.”
