אקדש קדמי כל בוכרא פתח כל ולדא בבני ישראל באנשא ובבעירא דילי הוא:
hwa dyly wbbeyra bansha yshral bbny wlda kl pthkh bwkra kl qdmy aqdsh
“Sanctify to me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of animal. It is mine.”

ואמר משה לעמא הוו דכירין ית יומא הדין די נפקתון ממצרים מבית עבדותא ארי בתקוף ידא אפיק יי יתכון מכא ולא יתאכל חמיע:
khmye ythakl wla mka ythkwn yy apyq yda bthqwp ary ebdwtha mbyth mmtsrym npqthwn dy hdyn ywma yth dkyryn hww lema mshh wamr
Moses said to the people, “Remember this day, in which you came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand Yahweh brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.

יומא דין אתון נפקין בירחא דאביבא:
dabyba byrkha npqyn athwn dyn ywma
Today you go out in the month Abib.

ויהי ארי יעלנך יי לארעא דכנענאי וחתאי ואמוראי וחואי ויבוסאי די קיים לאבהתך למתן לך ארעא עבדא חלב ודבש ותפלח ית פלחנא הדא בירחא הדין:
hdyn byrkha hda plkhna yth wthplkh wdbsh khlb ebda area lk lmthn labhthk qyym dy wybwsay wkhway wamwray wkhthay dknenay larea yy yelnk ary wyhy
It shall be, when Yahweh brings you into the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month.

שבעה יומין תיכול פטירא וביומא שביעאה חגא קדם יי:
yy qdm khga shbyeah wbywma pTyra thykwl ywmyn shbeh
Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Yahweh.

פטיר יתאכל ית שבעת יומין ולא יתחזי לך חמיע ולא יתחזי לך חמיר בכל תחומך:
thkhwmk bkl khmyr lk ythkhzy wla khmye lk ythkhzy wla ywmyn shbeth yth ythakl pTyr
Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and no leavened bread shall be seen with you. No yeast shall be seen with you, within all your borders.

ותחוי לברך ביומא ההוא למימר בדיל דין עבד יי לי במפקי ממצרים:
mmtsrym bmpqy ly yy ebd dyn bdyl lmymr hhwa bywma lbrk wthkhwy
You shall tell your son in that day, saying, ‘It is because of that which Yahweh did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

ויהי לך לאת על ידך ולדכרנא בין עיניך בדיל תהי אוריתא דיי בפומך ארי בידא תקיפא אפקך יי ממצרים:
mmtsrym yy apqk thqypa byda ary bpwmk dyy awrytha thhy bdyl eynyk byn wldkrna ydk el lath lk wyhy
It shall be for a sign to you on your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that Yahweh’s law may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Yahweh has brought you out of Egypt.

ותטר ית קימא הדא לזמנה מזמן לזמן:
lzmn mzmn lzmnh hda qyma yth wthTr
You shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.

ויהי ארי יעלנך יי לארעא דכנענאי כמא די קיים לך ולאבהתך ויתננה לך:
lk wythnnh wlabhthk lk qyym dy kma dknenay larea yy yelnk ary wyhy
“It shall be, when Yahweh brings you into the land of the Canaanite, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and will give it to you,

ותעבר כל פתח ולדא קדם יי וכל פתח ולד בעירא די יהי לך דכרין תקדש קדם יי:
yy qdm thqdsh dkryn lk yhy dy beyra wld pthkh wkl yy qdm wlda pthkh kl wthebr
that you shall set apart to Yahweh all that opens the womb, and every firstborn that comes from an animal which you have. The males shall be Yahweh’s.

וכל פתח דחמרא תפרוק באמרא ואם לא תפרוק ותנקפה וכל בוכרא דאנשא בבניך תפרוק:
thprwq bbnyk dansha bwkra wkl wthnqph thprwq la wam bamra thprwq dkhmra pthkh wkl
Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck; and you shall redeem all the firstborn of man among your sons.

ויהי ארי ישאלנך ברך מחר למימר מא דא ותימר לה בתקוף ידא אפקנא יי ממצרים מבית עבדותא:
ebdwtha mbyth mmtsrym yy apqna yda bthqwp lh wthymr da ma lmymr mkhr brk yshalnk ary wyhy
It shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ that you shall tell him, ‘By strength of hand Yahweh brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage.

והוה ארי אקשי פרעה לשלחותנא וקטל יי כל בוכרא בארעא דמצרים מבוכרא דאנשא ועד בוכרא דבעירא על כן אנא דבח קדם יי כל פתח ולדא דכרין וכל בוכרא דבני אפרוק:
aprwq dbny bwkra wkl dkryn wlda pthkh kl yy qdm dbkh ana kn el dbeyra bwkra wed dansha mbwkra dmtsrym barea bwkra kl yy wqTl lshlkhwthna preh aqshy ary whwh
When Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, Yahweh killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of livestock. Therefore I sacrifice to Yahweh all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

ויהי לאת על ידך ולתפלין בין עיניך ארי בתקוף ידא אפקנא יי ממצרים:
mmtsrym yy apqna yda bthqwp ary eynyk byn wlthplyn ydk el lath wyhy
It shall be for a sign on your hand, and for symbols between your eyes; for by strength of hand Yahweh brought us out of Egypt.”

והוה כד שלח פרעה ית עמא ולא דברינון יי ארח ארעא פלשתאי ארי קריבא הוא ארי אמר יי דילמא יזועון עמא במחזיהון קרבא ויתובון למצרים:
lmtsrym wythwbwn qrba bmkhzyhwn ema yzwewn dylma yy amr ary hwa qryba ary plshthay area arkh yy dbrynwn wla ema yth preh shlkh kd whwh
When Pharaoh had let the people go, God didn’t lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, “Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and they return to Egypt”;

ואסחר יי ית עמא ארח מדברא ימא דסוף ומזרזין סליקו בני ישראל מארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym marea yshral bny slyqw wmzrzyn dswp yma mdbra arkh ema yth yy waskhr
but God led the people around by the way of the wilderness by the Red Sea; and the children of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.

ואסיק משה ית גרמי יוסף עמה ארי אומאה אומי ית בני ישראל למימר מדכר דכיר יי יתכון ותסקון ית גרמי מכא עמכון:
emkwn mka grmy yth wthsqwn ythkwn yy dkyr mdkr lmymr yshral bny yth awmy awmah ary emh ywsp grmy yth mshh wasyq
Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had made the children of Israel swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones away from here with you.”

ונטלו מסכות ושרו באתם בסטר מדברא:
mdbra bsTr bathm wshrw mskwth wnTlw
They took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

ויי מדבר קדמיהון ביממא בעמודא דעננא לדברותהון באורחא וליליא בעמודא דאשתא לאנהרא להון למיזל ביממא ובליליא:
wblylya bymma lmyzl lhwn lanhra dashtha bemwda wlylya bawrkha ldbrwthhwn denna bemwda bymma qdmyhwn mdbr wyy
Yahweh went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them on their way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night:
