ושוי מלכא אחשורוש כרגא על ארעא והפרכי ימא:

King Ahasuerus laid a tribute on the land and on the islands of the sea.

וכל עובדא דתוקפיה וגבורתיה ופירוש רבות מרדכי די רבייה מלכא הלא אנון כתיבין על ספר פתגמי יומיא למלכי מדאי ופרסאי:
wprsay mday lmlky ywmya pthgmy spr el kthybyn anwn hla mlka rbyyh dy mrdky rbwth wpyrwsh wgbwrthyh dthwqpyh ewbda wkl
Aren’t all the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

מטול מרדכי יהודאה פתשגר דמלכא אחשורוש גזברא וסבא דיהודאי רב על כל עממיא ומסוף עלמא ועד סופיה אשתמע ליה שמעיה וכל מלכיא דחילו מקמיה וכד מדכרין ליה מזדעזעין מניה הוא מרדכי דמי לכוכב נוגהא דמזהר ביני כוכביא ודמי לשפרפרא די נפק בעדן צפרא והוא רבהון דיהודאי ורעי בסגיאותהון דאחוי ותבע טבתא לעמיה וממלל שלמא לכל זרעיתיה:

For Mordecai the Jew was next to King Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews and accepted by the multitude of his brothers, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his descendants.
