ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܗܟܝܠ ܡܬܕܡܝܢ ܒܐܠܗܐ ܐܝܟ ܒܢܝܐ ܚܒܝܒܐ
hwythwn hkyl mthdmyn b'lh' 'yk bny' khbyb'
Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.

ܘܗܠܟܘ ܒܚܘܒܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܚܒܢ ܘܐܫܠܡ ܢܦܫܗ ܥܠ ܐܦܝܢ ܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܘܕܒܚܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܠܪܝܚܐ ܒܣܝܡܐ

Walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.

ܙܢܝܘܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܘܟܠܗ ܛܢܦܘܬܐ ܘܥܠܘܒܘܬܐ ܐܦܠܐ ܡܫܬܡܗܘ ܬܫܬܡܗ ܒܝܢܬܟܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܩܕܝܫܐ
znywth' dyn wklh Tnpwth' welwbwth' 'pl' mshthmhw thshthmh bynthkwn 'yk dy'' lqdysh'
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;

ܘܠܐ ܨܘܚܝܬܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܠܐ ܕܫܛܝܘܬܐ ܐܘ ܕܒܙܚܐ ܐܘ ܕܫܥܝܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܒܥܝܢ ܐܠܐ ܚܠܦ ܗܠܝܢ ܬܘܕܝܬܐ
wl' tswkhyth' wl' ml' dshTywth' 'w dbzkh' 'w dshey' hlyn dl' mthbeyn 'l' khlp hlyn thwdyth'
nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks.

ܗܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܝܕܥܝܢ ܕܟܠܢܫ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܙܢܝܐ ܐܘ ܛܢܦܐ ܐܘ ܥܠܘܒܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܦܠܚ ܦܬܟܪܐ ܠܝܬ ܠܗ ܝܪܬܘܬܐ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܕܐܠܗܐ
hd' dyn hwythwn ydeyn dklnsh d'ythwhy zny' 'w Tnp' 'w elwb' d'ythwhy plkh pthkr' lyth lh yrthwth' bmlkwthh dmshykh' wd'lh'
Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.

ܕܠܡܐ ܐܢܫ ܢܛܥܝܟܘܢ ܒܡܠܐ ܣܪܝܩܬܐ ܡܛܠ ܗܠܝܢ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܐܬܐ ܪܘܓܙܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܥܠ ܒܢܝܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣܢܘܬܐ
dlm' 'nsh nTeykwn bml' sryqth' mTl hlyn hw gyr 'th' rwgzh d'lh' el bny' dl' mthTpysnwth'
Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

ܠܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܬܗܘܘܢ ܠܗܘܢ ܫܘܬܦܐ
l' hkyl thhwwn lhwn shwthp'
Therefore don’t be partakers with them.

ܐܝܬܝܟܘܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܡܢ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܚܫܘܟܐ ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܡܪܢ ܐܝܟ ܒܢܝ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܗܟܢܐ ܗܠܟܘ
'ythykwn hwythwn gyr mn lwqdm khshwk' hsh' dyn nwhr' 'nthwn bmrn 'yk bny nwhr' hkyl hkn' hlkw
For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,

ܦܐܪܘܗܝ ܓܝܪ ܕܢܘܗܪܐ ܒܟܠܗ ܐܢܘܢ ܛܒܘܬܐ ܘܙܕܝܩܘܬܐ ܘܩܘܫܬܐ
p'rwhy gyr dnwhr' bklh 'nwn Tbwth' wzdyqwth' wqwshth'
for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,

ܘܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܦܪܫܝܢ ܡܢܐ ܫܦܝܪ ܩܕܡ ܡܪܢ
whwythwn prshyn mn' shpyr qdm mrn
proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.

ܘܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܫܬܘܬܦܝܢ ܠܘܬ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܚܫܘܟܐ ܕܦܐܪܐ ܠܝܬ ܒܗܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܟܘܢܝܢ ܠܗܘܢ
wl' hwythwn mshthwthpyn lwth ebd' dkhshwk' dp'r' lyth bhwn 'l' hwythwn mkwnyn lhwn
Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

ܡܕܡ ܓܝܪ ܕܒܛܘܫܝܝ ܥܒܕܝܢ ܢܕܝܕ ܗܘ ܐܦ ܠܡܡܠܠܘܬܗ
mdm gyr dbTwshyy ebdyn ndyd hw 'p lmmllwthh
For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of.

ܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܓܝܪ ܡܬܟܘܢ ܡܢ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܘܡܬܓܠܐ ܘܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܓܠܐ ܢܘܗܪܐ ܗܘ
kl mdm gyr mthkwn mn nwhr' wmthgl' wklmdm dgl' nwhr' hw
But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܡܝܪ ܕܐܬܬܥܝܪ ܕܡܟܐ ܘܩܘܡ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܘܢܢܗܪ ܠܟ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mTl hn' 'myr d'ththeyr dmk' wqwm mn byth myth' wnnhr lk mshykh'
Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

ܚܙܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܬܗܠܟܘܢ ܙܗܝܐܝܬ ܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܣܟܠܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܚܟܝܡܐ
khzw hkyl 'ykn' thhlkwn zhy'yth l' 'yk skl' 'l' 'yk khkym'
Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise;

ܕܙܒܢܝܢ ܩܐܪܣܗܘܢ ܡܛܠ ܕܝܘܡܬܐ ܒܝܫܐ ܐܢܘܢ
dzbnyn q'rshwn mTl dywmth' bysh' 'nwn
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܠܐ ܬܗܘܘܢ ܚܣܝܪܝ ܪܥܝܢܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܣܬܟܠܘ ܡܢܘ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
mTl hn' l' thhwwn khsyry reyn' 'l' 'sthklw mnw tsbynh d'lh'
Therefore don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

ܘܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܪܘܝܢ ܒܚܡܪܐ ܕܒܗ ܐܝܬ ܐܣܘܛܘܬܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܬܡܠܘ ܒܪܘܚܐ
wl' hwythwn rwyn bkhmr' dbh 'yth 'swTwth' 'l' 'thmlw brwkh'
Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

ܘܡܠܠܘ ܥܡ ܢܦܫܟܘܢ ܒܡܙܡܘܪܐ ܘܒܬܫܒܚܬܐ ܘܒܙܡܝܪܬܐ ܕܪܘܚܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܙܡܪܝܢ ܒܠܒܘܬܟܘܢ ܠܡܪܝܐ

speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

ܘܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܘܕܝܢ ܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܥܠ ܐܦܝ ܟܠܢܫ ܒܫܡܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܐ
whwythwn mwdyn bklzbn el 'py klnsh bshmh dmrn yshwe mshykh' l'lh' 'b'
giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father;

ܘܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܫܬܥܒܕܝܢ ܚܕ ܠܚܕ ܒܚܘܒܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ
whwythwn mshthebdyn khd lkhd bkhwbh dmshykh'
subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

ܢܫܐ ܗܘܝܬܝܢ ܡܫܬܥܒܕܢ ܠܒܥܠܝܟܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܡܪܢ
nsh' hwythyn mshthebdn lbelykyn 'yk dlmrn
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

ܡܛܠ ܕܓܒܪܐ ܪܫܗ ܗܘ ܕܐܢܬܬܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܪܫܐ ܗܘ ܕܥܕܬܐ ܘܗܘܝܘ ܡܚܝܢܐ ܕܦܓܪܐ
mTl dgbr' rshh hw d'nthth' 'ykn' d'p mshykh' rsh' hw dedth' whwyw mkhyn' dpgr'
For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body.

ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܥܕܬܐ ܡܫܬܥܒܕܐ ܠܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܢܫܐ ܠܒܥܠܝܗܝܢ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ
'l' 'ykn' dedth' mshthebd' lmshykh' hkn' 'p nsh' lbelyhyn bklmdm
But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

ܓܒܪܐ ܐܚܒܘ ܢܫܝܟܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܐܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܚܒ ܠܥܕܬܗ ܘܢܦܫܗ ܐܫܠܡ ܥܠ ܐܦܝܗ
gbr' 'khbw nshykwn 'yk d'p mshykh' 'khb ledthh wnpshh 'shlm el 'pyh
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;

ܕܢܩܕܫܝܗ ܘܢܕܟܝܗ ܒܣܚܝܐ ܕܡܝܐ ܘܒܡܠܬܐ
dnqdshyh wndkyh bskhy' dmy' wbmlth'
that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,

ܘܢܩܝܡܝܗ ܥܕܬܐ ܠܢܦܫܗ ܟܕ ܡܫܒܚܐ ܘܠܝܬ ܒܗ ܛܘܠܫܐ ܘܠܐ ܩܡܛܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܕܡ ܕܠܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܐ ܐܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܘܡ
wnqymyh edth' lnpshh kd mshbkh' wlyth bh Twlsh' wl' qmT' wl' mdm dlhlyn dm' 'l' thhw' qdysh' dl' mwm
that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect.

ܗܟܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܠܓܒܪܐ ܕܢܚܒܘܢ ܢܫܝܗܘܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܦܓܪܝܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܕܠܐܢܬܬܗ ܓܝܪ ܡܚܒ ܢܦܫܗ ܗܘ ܡܚܒ
hkn' wl' lgbr' dnkhbwn nshyhwn 'yk dlpgryhwn mn dl'nththh gyr mkhb npshh hw mkhb
Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

ܠܐ ܓܝܪ ܐܢܫ ܡܡܬܘܡ ܣܢܐ ܦܓܪܗ ܐܠܐ ܡܬܪܣܐ ܠܗ ܘܝܨܦ ܕܝܠܗ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܥܕܬܗ

For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly;

ܡܛܠ ܕܗܕܡܐ ܚܢܢ ܕܦܓܪܗ ܘܡܢ ܒܣܪܗ ܚܢܢ ܘܡܢ ܓܪܡܘܗܝ
mTl dhdm' khnn dpgrh wmn bsrh khnn wmn grmwhy
because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܢܫܒܘܩ ܓܒܪܐ ܠܐܒܘܗܝ ܘܠܐܡܗ ܘܢܩܦ ܠܐܢܬܬܗ ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܬܪܝܗܘܢ ܚܕ ܒܣܪ
mTl hn' nshbwq gbr' l'bwhy wl'mh wnqp l'nththh wnhwwn thryhwn khd bsr
“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.”

ܗܢܐ ܐܪܙܐ ܪܒ ܗܘ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܥܠ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܥܠ ܥܕܬܗ
hn' 'rz' rb hw 'n' dyn 'mr 'n' el mshykh' wel edthh
This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly.

ܒܪܡ ܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܟܠ ܚܕ ܚܕ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܗܟܢܐ ܢܪܚܡ ܐܢܬܬܗ ܐܝܟ ܕܠܢܦܫܗ ܐܢܬܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܬܗܘܐ ܕܚܠܐ ܡܢ ܒܥܠܗ
brm 'p 'nthwn kl khd khd mnkwn hkn' nrkhm 'nththh 'yk dlnpshh 'nthth' dyn thhw' dkhl' mn belh
Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
