ܘܐܦ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܡܝܬܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܚܛܗܝܟܘܢ ܘܒܣܟܠܘܬܟܘܢ

You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins,

ܒܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܗܠܟܬܘܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܗܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܠܡܝܘܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܪܝܫ ܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܕܐܐܪ ܘܕܪܘܚܐ ܗܕܐ ܕܡܬܚܦܛܐ ܒܒܢܝܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣܢܘܬܐ

in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience;

ܒܗܢܘܢ ܥܒܕܐ ܕܐܦ ܚܢܢ ܐܬܗܦܟܢ ܒܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܒܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܕܒܣܪܢ ܘܥܒܕܝܢ ܗܘܝܢ ܨܒܝܢܐ ܕܒܣܪܢ ܘܕܬܪܥܝܬܢ ܘܒܢܝܐ ܗܘܝܢ ܕܪܘܓܙܐ ܡܠܝܐܝܬ ܐܝܟ ܫܪܟܐ
shrk' 'yk mly'yth drwgz' hwyn wbny' wdthreythn dbsrn tsbyn' hwyn webdyn dbsrn brgygth' qdym mn bhwn 'thhpkn khnn d'p ebd' bhnwn
among whom we also all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.

ܐܠܗܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܥܬܝܪ ܒܪܚܡܘܗܝ ܡܛܠ ܚܘܒܗ ܣܓܝܐܐ ܕܐܚܒܢ

But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,

ܟܕ ܡܝܬܝܢ ܗܘܝܢ ܒܚܛܗܝܢ ܐܚܝܢ ܥܡ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܒܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܦܪܩܢ

even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

ܘܐܩܝܡܢ ܥܡܗ ܘܐܘܬܒܢ ܥܡܗ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' byshwe bshmy' emh w'wthbn emh w'qymn
and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

ܕܢܚܘܐ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܕܐܬܝܢ ܪܒܘܬܐ ܕܥܘܬܪܐ ܕܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܘܒܣܝܡܘܬܗ ܕܗܘܬ ܥܠܝܢ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' byshwe elyn dhwth wbsymwthh dTybwthh dewthr' rbwth' d'thyn lelm' dnkhw'
that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;

ܒܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܐܬܦܪܩܢ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܘܗܕܐ ܠܐ ܗܘܬ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܡܘܗܒܬܐ ܗܝ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' hy mwhbth' 'l' mnkwn hwth l' whd' bhymnwth' 'thprqn gyr hw bTybwthh
for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

ܒܪܝܬܐ ܚܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܝܠܗ ܕܐܬܒܪܝܢ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܛܝܒ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܒܗܘܢ ܢܗܠܟ
nhlk dbhwn 'lh' Tyb qdym dmn hnwn Tb' lebd' mshykh' byshwe d'thbryn dylh gyr khnn bryth'
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

ܡܛܠ ܗܕܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܥܗܕܝܢ ܕܐܢܬܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ ܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܕܒܣܪ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܘܡܬܩܪܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܥܘܪܠܘܬܐ ܡܢ ܗܝ ܕܡܬܩܪܝܐ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܘܐܝܬܝܗ ܥܒܕ ܐܝܕܝܐ ܒܒܣܪܐ
bbsr' 'ydy' ebd w'ythyh gzwrth' dmthqry' hy mn ewrlwth' hwythwn wmthqryn hwythwn dbsr qdym mn emm' d'nthwn ehdyn hwythwn hd' mTl
Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is called “circumcision”, (in the flesh, made by hands);

ܘܐܝܬܝܟܘܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܗܘ ܙܒܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܢܘܟܪܝܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܢ ܕܘܒܪܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܐܟܣܢܝܐ ܗܘ ܠܕܝܬܩܐ ܕܡܘܠܟܢܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܣܒܪ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܘܕܠܐ ܐܠܗ ܒܥܠܡܐ
belm' 'lh wdl' hwythwn sbr wdl' dmwlkn' ldythq' hw w'ksny' d'ysryl dwbr' mn hwythwn wnwkryyn mshykh' dl' zbn' bhw hwythwn w'ythykwn
that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

ܗܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܝܡ ܪܚܝܩܝܢ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܩܪܝܒܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܒܕܡܗ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ
dmshykh' bdmh hwythwn qryb' hwythwn rkhyqyn qdym dmn 'nthwn mshykh' byshwe dyn hsh'
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.

ܗܘܝܘ ܓܝܪ ܫܝܢܢ ܗܘ ܕܥܒܕ ܬܪܬܝܗܝܢ ܚܕܐ ܘܫܪܐ ܣܝܓܐ ܕܩܐܡ ܗܘܐ ܒܡܨܥܬܐ
bmtseth' hw' dq'm syg' wshr' khd' thrthyhyn debd hw shynn gyr hwyw
For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition,

ܘܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܐ ܒܒܣܪܗ ܘܢܡܘܣܐ ܕܦܘܩܕܐ ܒܦܘܩܕܢܘܗܝ ܒܛܠ ܕܠܬܪܝܗܘܢ ܢܒܪܐ ܒܩܢܘܡܗ ܠܚܕ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܫܝܢܐ
shyn' webd khdth' brnsh' lkhd bqnwmh nbr' dlthryhwn bTl bpwqdnwhy dpwqd' wnmws' bbsrh wbeldbbwth'
having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;

ܘܪܥܝ ܠܬܪܝܗܘܢ ܒܚܕ ܦܓܪ ܥܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܒܙܩܝܦܗ ܩܛܠ ܒܥܠܕܒܒܘܬܐ
beldbbwth' qTl wbzqyph 'lh' em pgr bkhd lthryhwn wrey
and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility thereby.

ܘܐܬܐ ܣܒܪ ܫܠܡܐ ܠܟܘܢ ܠܪܚܝܩܐ ܘܠܩܪܝܒܐ
wlqryb' lrkhyq' lkwn shlm' sbr w'th'
He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.

ܡܛܠ ܕܒܗ ܗܘ ܗܘܐ ܠܢ ܩܘܪܒܐ ܠܬܪܝܢ ܒܚܕܐ ܪܘܚ ܠܘܬ ܐܒܐ
'b' lwth rwkh bkhd' lthryn qwrb' ln hw' hw dbh mTl
For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

ܡܟܝܠ ܠܐ ܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܐܟܣܢܝܐ ܘܠܐ ܬܘܬܒܐ ܐܠܐ ܒܢܝ ܡܕܝܢܬܐ ܕܩܕܝܫܐ ܘܒܢܝ ܒܝܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
d'lh' bythh wbny dqdysh' mdynth' bny 'l' thwthb' wl' 'ksny' hwythwn l' mkyl
So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,

ܘܐܬܒܢܝܬܘܢ ܥܠ ܫܬܐܣܬܐ ܕܫܠܝܚܐ ܘܕܢܒܝܐ ܘܗܘ ܗܘܐ ܪܝܫ ܩܪܢܐ ܕܒܢܝܢܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe dbnyn' qrn' rysh hw' whw wdnby' dshlykh' shth'sth' el w'thbnythwn
being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;

ܘܒܗ ܡܬܪܟܒ ܟܠܗ ܒܢܝܢܐ ܘܪܒܐ ܠܗܝܟܠܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܒܡܪܝܐ
bmry' qdysh' lhykl' wrb' bnyn' klh mthrkb wbh
in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;
