ܦܘܠܘܣ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܒܨܒܝܢܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܒܐܦܣܘܣ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܘܡܗܝܡܢܐ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' byshwe wmhymn' qdysh' b'psws d'ythyhwn l'ylyn d'lh' btsbynh mshykh' dyshwe shlykh' pwlws
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:

ܫܠܡܐ ܥܡܟܘܢ ܘܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܢ ܘܡܢ ܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe mrn wmn 'bwn 'lh' mn wTybwth' emkwn shlm'
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

ܡܒܪܟ ܗܘ ܐܠܗܐ ܐܒܘܗܝ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܘ ܕܒܪܟܢ ܒܟܠ ܒܘܪܟܢ ܕܪܘܚ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ
bmshykh' bshmy' drwkh bwrkn bkl dbrkn hw mshykh' yshwe dmrn 'bwhy 'lh' hw mbrk
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;

ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܩܕܡ ܓܒܢ ܒܗ ܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܬܪܡܝܬܗ ܕܥܠܡܐ ܕܢܗܘܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܡܘܡ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܘܒܚܘܒܐ ܩܕܡ ܪܫܡܢ ܠܗ
lh rshmn qdm wbkhwb' qdmwhy mwm wdl' qdysh' dnhw' delm' thrmythh qdm mn bh gbn dqdm 'ykn'
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love;

ܘܣܡܢ ܠܒܢܝܐ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܝܟ ܕܫܦܪ ܠܨܒܝܢܗ
ltsbynh dshpr 'yk mshykh' byshwe lbny' wsmn
having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,

ܕܢܫܬܒܚ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܛܝܒܘܬܗ ܗܘ ܕܐܫܦܥ ܥܠܝܢ ܒܝܕ ܚܒܝܒܗ
khbybh byd elyn d'shpe hw dTybwthh shwbkh' dnshthbkh
to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved,

ܕܒܗ ܐܝܬ ܠܢ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܘܒܕܡܗ ܫܘܒܩܢܐ ܕܚܛܗܐ ܐܝܟ ܥܘܬܪܐ ܕܛܝܒܘܬܗ
dTybwthh ewthr' 'yk dkhTh' shwbqn' wbdmh pwrqn' ln 'yth dbh
in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

ܗܝ ܕܐܬܝܬܪܬ ܒܢ ܒܟܠ ܚܟܡܐ ܘܒܟܠ ܣܘܟܠ

which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

ܘܐܘܕܥܢ ܐܪܙܐ ܕܨܒܝܢܗ ܗܘ ܕܩܕܡ ܗܘܐ ܣܡ ܕܢܣܥܘܪ ܒܗ
bh dnsewr sm hw' dqdm hw dtsbynh 'rz' w'wden
making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

ܠܡܕܒܪܢܘܬܐ ܕܡܘܠܝܗܘܢ ܕܙܒܢܐ ܕܟܠܡܕܡ ܡܢ ܕܪܝܫ ܢܬܚܕܬ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܒܫܡܝܐ ܘܒܐܪܥܐ
wb're' dbshmy' bmshykh' nthkhdth drysh mn dklmdm dzbn' dmwlyhwn lmdbrnwth'
to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, in him;

ܘܒܗ ܚܢܢ ܐܬܓܒܝܢ ܐܝܟ ܕܩܕܡ ܪܫܡܢ ܘܨܒܐ ܗܘ ܕܟܠ ܣܥܪ ܐܝܟ ܬܪܥܝܬܐ ܕܨܒܝܢܗ
dtsbynh threyth' 'yk ser dkl hw wtsb' rshmn dqdm 'yk 'thgbyn khnn wbh
in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will;

ܕܢܗܘܐ ܚܢܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܩܕܡܢ ܣܒܪܢ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܠܗܕܪܐ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܗ
dthshbwkhthh lhdr' bmshykh' sbrn dqdmn 'ylyn khnn dnhw'
to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ.

ܕܐܦ ܐܢܬܘܢ ܒܗ ܫܡܥܬܘܢ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܩܘܫܬܐ ܕܐܝܬܝܗ ܣܒܪܬܐ ܕܚܝܝܟܘܢ ܘܒܗ ܗܝܡܢܬܘܢ ܘܐܬܚܬܡܬܘܢ ܒܪܘܚܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܕܡܠܝܟܐ ܗܘܬ
hwth dmlyk' dqwdsh' brwkh' w'thkhthmthwn hymnthwn wbh dkhyykwn sbrth' d'ythyh dqwshth' mlth' shmethwn bh 'nthwn d'p
In him you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation—in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

ܗܝ ܕܐܝܬܝܗ ܪܗܒܘܢܐ ܕܝܪܬܘܬܢ ܠܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܚܐܝܢ ܘܠܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܐܝܩܪܗ
d'yqrh wlshwbkh' dkh'yn d'ylyn lpwrqn' dyrthwthn rhbwn' d'ythyh hy
who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܐܦ ܐܢܐ ܗܐ ܡܢ ܕܫܡܥܬ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܟܘܢ ܕܒܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܚܘܒܟܘܢ ܕܠܘܬ ܩܕܝܫܐ
qdysh' dlwth wkhwbkwn mshykh' yshwe dbmrn hymnwthkwn dshmeth mn h' 'n' 'p hn' mTl
For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which you have toward all the saints,

ܠܐ ܡܫܬܠܐ ܐܢܐ ܠܡܘܕܝܘ ܥܠ ܐܦܝܟܘܢ ܘܠܡܥܗܕܟܘܢ ܒܨܠܘܬܝ
btslwthy wlmehdkwn 'pykwn el lmwdyw 'n' mshthl' l'
don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,

ܕܐܠܗܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܒܐ ܕܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܢܬܠ ܠܟܘܢ ܪܘܚܐ ܕܚܟܡܬܐ ܘܕܓܠܝܢܐ ܒܝܕܥܬܗ
bydethh wdglyn' dkhkmth' rwkh' lkwn nthl dthshbwkhth' 'b' mshykh' yshwe dmrn d'lhh
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;

ܘܢܢܗܪܢ ܥܝܢܐ ܕܠܒܘܬܟܘܢ ܕܬܕܥܘܢ ܡܢܘ ܣܒܪܐ ܕܩܪܝܢܗ ܘܡܢܘ ܥܘܬܪܐ ܕܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܝܪܬܘܬܗ ܒܩܕܝܫܐ
bqdysh' dyrthwthh dshwbkh' ewthr' wmnw dqrynh sbr' mnw dthdewn dlbwthkwn eyn' wnnhrn
having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

ܘܡܢܐ ܗܝ ܝܬܝܪܘܬܐ ܕܪܒܘܬܐ ܕܚܝܠܗ ܒܢ ܒܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܡܗܝܡܢܝܢܢ ܐܝܟ ܡܥܒܕܢܘܬܐ ܕܬܘܩܦܐ ܕܚܝܠܗ
dkhylh dthwqp' mebdnwth' 'yk dmhymnynn b'ylyn bn dkhylh drbwth' ythyrwth' hy wmn'
and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might

ܕܥܒܕ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܐܩܝܡܗ ܡܢ ܒܝܬ ܡܝܬܐ ܘܐܘܬܒܗ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܗ ܒܫܡܝܐ
bshmy' ymynh mn w'wthbh myth' byth mn w'qymh bmshykh' debd
which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

ܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܐܪܟܘܣ ܘܫܘܠܛܢܐ ܘܚܝܠܐ ܘܡܪܘܬܐ ܘܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܫܡ ܕܡܫܬܡܗ ܠܐ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܒܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܦ ܒܕܥܬܝܕ

far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.

ܘܫܥܒܕ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܬܚܝܬ ܪܓܠܘܗܝ ܘܠܗ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܠܥܠ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܝܗܒܗ ܪܫܐ ܠܥܕܬܐ
ledth' rsh' yhbh kl mn lel d'ythwhy wlh rglwhy thkhyth klmdm wshebd
He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,
