1
ודא תפקדתא קימיא ודיניא די פקיד יי אלהכון לאלפא יתכון למעבד בארעא די אתון עברין תמן למירתה:
lmyrthh thmn ebryn athwn dy barea lmebd ythkwn lalpa alhkwn yy pqyd dy wdynya qymya thpqdtha wda
Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Yahweh your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land that you go over to possess;

בדיל דתדחל קדם יי אלהך למטר ית כל קימוהי ופקודוהי די אנא מפקדך את וברך ובר ברך כל יומי חייך ובדיל דיורכון יומיך:
ywmyk dywrkwn wbdyl khyyk ywmy kl brk wbr wbrk ath mpqdk ana dy wpqwdwhy qymwhy kl yth lmTr alhk yy qdm dthdkhl bdyl
that you might fear Yahweh your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you—you, your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.

ותקבל ישראל ותטר למעבד די ייטב לך ודי תסגון לחדא כמא די מליל יי אלהא דאבהתך לך ארעא עבדא חלב ודבש:
wdbsh khlb ebda area lk dabhthk alha yy mlyl dy kma lkhda thsgwn wdy lk yyTb dy lmebd wthTr yshral wthqbl
Hear therefore, Israel, and observe to do it, that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised to you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.

שמע ישראל יי אלהנא יי חד:
khd yy alhna yy yshral shme
Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one.

ותרחם ית יי אלהך בכל לבך ובכל נפשך ובכל נכסך:
nksk wbkl npshk wbkl lbk bkl alhk yy yth wthrkhm
You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
6
ויהון פתגמיא האלין די אנא מפקדך יומא דין על לבך:
lbk el dyn ywma mpqdk ana dy halyn pthgmya wyhwn
These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart;
7
ותתננון לבניך ותמלל בהון במתבך בביתך ובמהכך בארחא ובמשכבך ובמקימך:
wbmqymk wbmshkbk barkha wbmhkk bbythk bmthbk bhwn wthmll lbnyk wththnnwn
and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

ותקטרנון לאת על ידך ויהון לתפלין בין עיניך:
eynyk byn lthplyn wyhwn ydk el lath wthqTrnwn
You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
9
ותכתבנון על מזוזין ותקבענון בספי ביתך ובתרעיך:
wbthreyk bythk bspy wthqbenwn mzwzyn el wthkthbnwn
You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.
10
ויהי ארי יעלנך יי אלהך לארעא די קיים לאבהתך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב למתן לך קרוין רברבן וטבן די לא בניתא:
bnytha la dy wTbn rbrbn qrwyn lk lmthn wlyeqb lytskhq labrhm labhthk qyym dy larea alhk yy yelnk ary wyhy
It shall be, when Yahweh your God brings you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and goodly cities which you didn’t build,

ובתין מלן כל טוב די לא מליתא וגבין פסילן די לא פסלתא כרמין וזיתין די לא נצבתא ותיכול ותשבע:
wthshbe wthykwl ntsbtha la dy wzythyn krmyn psltha la dy psyln wgbyn mlytha la dy Twb kl mln wbthyn
and houses full of all good things which you didn’t fill, and cisterns dug out which you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive trees which you didn’t plant, and you shall eat and be full;

אסתמר לך דילמא תנשי ית יי די אפקך מארעא דמצרים מבית עבדותא:
ebdwtha mbyth dmtsrym marea apqk dy yy yth thnshy dylma lk asthmr
then beware lest you forget Yahweh, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

ית יי אלהך תדחל וקדמוהי תפלח ובשמיה תקים:
thqym wbshmyh thplkh wqdmwhy thdkhl alhk yy yth
You shall fear Yahweh your God; and you shall serve him, and shall swear by his name.
14
לא תהכון בתר טעות עממיא מטעות עממיא די בסחרניכון:
bskhrnykwn dy emmya mTewth emmya Tewth bthr thhkwn la
You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples who are around you,
15
ארי אל קנא יי אלהך שכנתיה בינך דילמא יתקף רגזא דיי אלהך בך וישצך מעל אפי ארעא:
area apy mel wyshtsk bk alhk dyy rgza ythqp dylma bynk shknthyh alhk yy qna al ary
for Yahweh your God among you is a jealous God, lest the anger of Yahweh your God be kindled against you, and he destroy you from off the face of the earth.

לא תנסון קדם יי אלהכון כמא די נסתון בנסיתא:
bnsytha nsthwn dy kma alhkwn yy qdm thnswn la
You shall not tempt Yahweh your God, as you tempted him in Massah.
17
מטר תטרון ית פקודיא דיי אלהכון וסהדותיה וקימוהי די פקדך:
pqdk dy wqymwhy wshdwthyh alhkwn dyy pqwdya yth thTrwn mTr
You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.

ותעבד דכשר ודתקן קדם יי בדיל דייטב לך ותעול ותירת ית ארעא טבתא די קיים יי לאבהתך:
labhthk yy qyym dy Tbtha area yth wthyrth wthewl lk dyyTb bdyl yy qdm wdthqn dkshr wthebd
You shall do that which is right and good in Yahweh’s sight, that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land which Yahweh swore to your fathers,

למתבר ית כל בעלי דבבך מקדמך כמא די מליל יי:
yy mlyl dy kma mqdmk dbbk bely kl yth lmthbr
to thrust out all your enemies from before you, as Yahweh has spoken.
20
ארי ישאלנך ברך מחר למימר מא סהדותא וקימיא ודיניא די פקיד יי אלהנא יתכון:
ythkwn alhna yy pqyd dy wdynya wqymya shdwtha ma lmymr mkhr brk yshalnk ary
When your son asks you in time to come, saying, “What do the testimonies, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Yahweh our God has commanded you mean?”

ותימר לבנך עבדין הוינא לפרעה במצרים ואפקנא יי ממצרים בידא תקיפא:
thqypa byda mmtsrym yy wapqna bmtsrym lpreh hwyna ebdyn lbnk wthymr
then you shall tell your son, “We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand;

ויהב יי אתין ומופתין רברבין ובישין במצרים בפרעה ובכל אנש ביתיה לעיננא:
leynna bythyh ansh wbkl bpreh bmtsrym wbyshyn rbrbyn wmwpthyn athyn yy wyhb
and Yahweh showed great and awesome signs and wonders on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his house, before our eyes;

ויתנא אפק מתמן בדיל לאעלא יתנא למתן לנא ית ארעא די קיים לאבהתנא:
labhthna qyym dy area yth lna lmthn ythna laela bdyl mthmn apq wythna
and he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers.

ופקדנא יי למעבד ית כל קימיא האלין למדחל ית יי אלהנא לטב לנא כל יומיא לקימותנא כיומא הדין:
hdyn kywma lqymwthna ywmya kl lna lTb alhna yy yth lmdkhl halyn qymya kl yth lmebd yy wpqdna
Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are today.
