וקרא משה לכל ישראל ואמר להון שמע ישראל ית קימיא וית דיניא די אנא ממלל קדמיכון יומא דין ותלפון יתהון ותטרון למעבדהון:
lmebdhwn wthTrwn ythhwn wthlpwn dyn ywma qdmykwn mmll ana dy dynya wyth qymya yth yshral shme lhwn wamr yshral lkl mshh wqra
Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, “Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears today, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.”

יי אלהנא גזר עמנא קים בחרב:
bkhrb qym emna gzr alhna yy
Yahweh our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

לא עם אבהתנא גזר יי ית קימא הדא אלהן עמנא אנחנא אלין הכא יומא דין כלנא קימין:
qymyn klna dyn ywma hka alyn ankhna emna alhn hda qyma yth yy gzr abhthna em la
Yahweh didn’t make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive today.

ממלל עם ממלל מליל יי עמכון בטורא מגו אשתא:
ashtha mgw bTwra emkwn yy mlyl mmll em mmll
Yahweh spoke with you face to face on the mountain out of the middle of the fire,

אנא הויתי קאם בין מימרא דיי וביניכון בעדנא ההיא לחואה לכון ית פתגמא דיי ארי דחלתון מקדם אשתא ולא סלקתון בטורא למימר:
lmymr bTwra slqthwn wla ashtha mqdm dkhlthwn ary dyy pthgma yth lkwn lkhwah hhya bedna wbynykwn dyy mymra byn qam hwythy ana
(I stood between Yahweh and you at that time, to show you Yahweh’s word; for you were afraid because of the fire, and didn’t go up onto the mountain) saying,

אנא יי אלהך די אפקתך מארעא דמצרים מבית עבדותא:
ebdwtha mbyth dmtsrym marea apqthk dy alhk yy ana
“I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

לא תעבד לך צלם כל דמות די בשמיא מלעלא ודי בארעא מלרע ודי במיא מלרע לארעא:
larea mlre bmya wdy mlre barea wdy mlela bshmya dy dmwth kl tslm lk thebd la
“You shall not make a carved image for yourself—any likeness of what is in heaven above, or what is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

לא תסגוד להון ולא תפלחנון ארי אנא יי אלהך אל קנא מסער חובי אבהן על בנין מרדין על דר תליתי ועל דר רביעי לשנאי כד משלמין בניא למחטי בתר אבהתהון:
abhthhwn bthr lmkhTy bnya mshlmyn kd lshnay rbyey dr wel thlythy dr el mrdyn bnyn el abhn khwby mser qna al alhk yy ana ary thplkhnwn wla lhwn thsgwd la
You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me

ועבד טיבו לאלפי דרין לרחמי ולנטרי פקודי:
pqwdy wlnTry lrkhmy dryn lalpy Tybw webd
and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

לא תימי ית שמא דיי אלהך למגנא ארי לא יזכי יי ית די ימי בשמיה לשקרא:
lshqra bshmyh ymy dy yth yy yzky la ary lmgna alhk dyy shma yth thymy la
“You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your God; for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.

טר ית יומא דשבתא לקדשותיה כמא די פקדך יי אלהך:
alhk yy pqdk dy kma lqdshwthyh dshbtha ywma yth Tr
“Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as Yahweh your God commanded you.

שתא יומין תפלח ותעבד כל עבדתך:
ebdthk kl wthebd thplkh ywmyn shtha
You shall labor six days, and do all your work;
14
ויומא שביעאה שבתא קדם יי אלהך לא תעבד כל עבידא את וברך וברתך ועבדך ואמתך ותורך וחמרך וכל בעירך וגיורך די בקרוך בדיל די ינוח עבדך ואמתך כותך:
kwthk wamthk ebdk ynwkh dy bdyl bqrwk dy wgywrk beyrk wkl wkhmrk wthwrk wamthk webdk wbrthk wbrk ath ebyda kl thebd la alhk yy qdm shbtha shbyeah wywma
but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God, in which you shall not do any work—neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.

ותדכר ארי עבדא הויתא בארעא דמצרים ואפקך יי אלהך מתמן בידא תקיפא ובדרעא מרמא על כן פקדך יי אלהך למעבד ית יומא דשבתא:
dshbtha ywma yth lmebd alhk yy pqdk kn el mrma wbdrea thqypa byda mthmn alhk yy wapqk dmtsrym barea hwytha ebda ary wthdkr
You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and Yahweh your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore Yahweh your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

יקר ית אבוך וית אמך כמא די פקדך יי אלהך בדיל דיורכון יומיך ובדיל דיוטב לך על ארעא דיי אלהך יהב לך:
lk yhb alhk dyy area el lk dywTb wbdyl ywmyk dywrkwn bdyl alhk yy pqdk dy kma amk wyth abwk yth yqr
“Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you, that your days may be long and that it may go well with you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

לא תקטול נפש. ולא תגוף. ולא תגנוב. ולא תסהד בחברך סהדותא דשקרא:
dshqra shdwtha bkhbrk thshd wla thgnwb wla thgwp wla npsh thqTwl la
“You shall not murder.

ולא תחמד אתת חברך ולא תרוג בית חברך חקליה ועבדיה ואמתיה תוריה וחמריה וכל די לחברך:
lkhbrk dy wkl wkhmryh thwryh wamthyh webdyh khqlyh khbrk byth thrwg wla khbrk athth thkhmd wla
“You shall not commit adultery.

ית פתגמיא האלין מליל יי עם כל קהלכון בטורא מגו אשתא עננא ואמיטתא קל רב ולא פסק וכתבנון על תרין לוחי אבניא ויהבנון לי:
ly wyhbnwn abnya lwkhy thryn el wkthbnwn psq wla rb ql wamyTtha enna ashtha mgw bTwra qhlkwn kl em yy mlyl halyn pthgmya yth
“You shall not steal.

והוה כד שמעכון ית קלא מגו חשוכא וטורא בער באשתא וקרבתון לותי כל רישי שבטיכון וסביכון:
wsbykwn shbTykwn ryshy kl lwthy wqrbthwn bashtha ber wTwra khshwka mgw qla yth shmekwn kd whwh
“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

ואמרתון הא אחזינא יי אלהנא ית יקריה וית רבותיה וית קל מימריה שמענא מגו אשתא יומא הדין חזינא ארי ימלל יי עם אנשא ויתקים:
wythqym ansha em yy ymll ary khzyna hdyn ywma ashtha mgw shmena mymryh ql wyth rbwthyh wyth yqryh yth alhna yy akhzyna ha wamrthwn
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. Neither shall you desire your neighbor’s house, his field, or his male servant, or his female servant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

וכען למא נמות ארי תיכלננא אשתא רבתא הדא אם מוספין אנחנא למשמע ית קל מימרא דיי אלהנא עוד ומיתין אנחנא:
ankhna wmythyn ewd alhna dyy mymra ql yth lmshme ankhna mwspyn am hda rbtha ashtha thyklnna ary nmwth lma wken
Yahweh spoke these words to all your assembly on the mountain out of the middle of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice. He added no more. He wrote them on two stone tablets, and gave them to me.

ארי מן כל בשרא די שמע קל מימרא דיי קימא ממלל מגו אשתא כותנא ואתקים:
wathqym kwthna ashtha mgw mmll qyma dyy mymra ql shme dy bshra kl mn ary
When you heard the voice out of the middle of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

קרב את ושמע ית כל די יימר יי אלהנא ואת תמלל עמנא ית כל די מלל יי אלהנא עמך ונקבל ונעבד:
wnebd wnqbl emk alhna yy mll dy kl yth emna thmll wath alhna yy yymr dy kl yth wshme ath qrb
and you said, “Behold, Yahweh our God has shown us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the middle of the fire. We have seen today that God does speak with man, and he lives.

ושמיע קדם יי ית קל פתגמיכון במללותכון עמי ואמר יי לי שמיע קדמי ית קל פתגמי עמא הדין די מלילו עמך אתקינו כל די מלילו:
mlylw dy kl athqynw emk mlylw dy hdyn ema pthgmy ql yth qdmy shmye ly yy wamr emy bmllwthkwn pthgmykwn ql yth yy qdm wshmye
Now therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear Yahweh our God’s voice any more, then we shall die.

לוי די יהי לבא הדין להון למדחל קדמי ולמטר ית כל פקודי כל יומיא בדיל דייטב להון ולבניהון לעלם:
lelm wlbnyhwn lhwn dyyTb bdyl ywmya kl pqwdy kl yth wlmTr qdmy lmdkhl lhwn hdyn lba yhy dy lwy
For who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as we have, and lived?
27
אזל אמר להון תובו לכון למשכניכון:
lmshknykwn lkwn thwbw lhwn amr azl
Go near, and hear all that Yahweh our God shall say, and tell us all that Yahweh our God tells you; and we will hear it, and do it.”
28
ואת הכא קים קדמי ואמלל עמך ית כל תפקדתא וקימיא ודיניא די תלפון ויעבדון בארעא די אנא יהב להון למירתה:
lmyrthh lhwn yhb ana dy barea wyebdwn thlpwn dy wdynya wqymya thpqdtha kl yth emk wamll qdmy qym hka wath
Yahweh heard the voice of your words when you spoke to me; and Yahweh said to me, “I have heard the voice of the words of this people which they have spoken to you. They have well said all that they have spoken.

ותטרון למעבד כמא די פקיד יי אלהכון יתכון לא תסטון ימינא ושמאלא:
wshmala ymyna thsTwn la ythkwn alhkwn yy pqyd dy kma lmebd wthTrwn
Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
30
בכל ארחא די פקיד יי אלהכון יתכון תהכון בדיל דתיחון וייטב לכון ותורכון יומין בארעא די תירתון:
thyrthwn dy barea ywmyn wthwrkwn lkwn wyyTb dthykhwn bdyl thhkwn ythkwn alhkwn yy pqyd dy arkha bkl
“Go tell them, ‘Return to your tents.’

ܘܐܢܬ ܗܪܟܐ ܩܘܡ ܩܕܡܝ. ܘܐ̇ܡܪ ܠܟ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܦܘܩ̈ܕܢܝ ܘܢܡ̈ܘܣܝ ܘܕܝ̈ܢܝ. ܕܬܠܦ ܐܢܘܢ ܘܢܥܒܕܘܢ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܝ̇ܗܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܠܡܐܪܬܗ̇.
lm'rthh lhwn 'n' dyhb b're' wnebdwn 'nwn dthlp wdyny wnmwsy pwqdny klhwn lk w'mr qdmy qwm hrk' w'nth
But as for you, stand here by me, and I will tell you all the commandments, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess.”

ܛܪܘ ܘܥܒܕܘ ܐܝܟ ܕܦܩܕܟܘܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ. ܘܠܐ ܬܣܛܘܢ ܠܐ ܠܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܠܣܡܠܐ.

You shall observe to do therefore as Yahweh your God has commanded you. You shall not turn away to the right hand or to the left.

ܒܟܠܗ̇ ܐܘܪܚܐ ܕܦܩܕܟܘܢ ܡܪܝܐ ܐܠܗܟܘܢ. ܙܠܘ ܕܬܚܘܢ ܘܢܛܐܒ ܠܟܘܢ. ܘܬܣܓܘܢ ܝܘܡ̈ܬܐ ܒܐܪܥܐ ܕܬܐܪܬܘܢ.
dth'rthwn b're' ywmth' wthsgwn lkwn wnT'b dthkhwn zlw 'lhkwn mry' dpqdkwn 'wrkh' bklh
You shall walk in all the way which Yahweh your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
