וכען ישראל שמע לקימיא ולדיניא די אנא מאלף יתכון למעבד בדיל דתיחון ותיתון ותירתון ית ארעא די יי אלהא דאבהתכון יהב לכון:
wken yshral shme lqymya wldynya dy ana malp ythkwn lmebd bdyl dthykhwn wthythwn wthyrthwn yth area dy yy alha dabhthkwn yhb lkwn
Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the ordinances which I teach you, to do them, that you may live and go in and possess the land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, gives you.

לא תוספון על פתגמא די אנא מפקד יתכון ולא תמנעון מניה למטר ית פקודיא דיי אלהכון די אנא מפקד יתכון:
la thwspwn el pthgma dy ana mpqd ythkwn wla thmnewn mnyh lmTr yth pqwdya dyy alhkwn dy ana mpqd ythkwn
You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.

עיניכון חזן ית די עבד יי בבעל פעור ארי כל גברא די אזל בתר בעל פעור שצייה יי אלהך מבינך:
eynykwn khzn yth dy ebd yy bbel pewr ary kl gbra dy azl bthr bel pewr shtsyyh yy alhk mbynk
Your eyes have seen what Yahweh did because of Baal Peor; for Yahweh your God has destroyed all the men who followed Baal Peor from among you.

ואתון דאדבקתון בדחלתא דיי אלהכון קימין כלכון יומא דין:
wathwn dadbqthwn bdkhltha dyy alhkwn qymyn klkwn ywma dyn
But you who were faithful to Yahweh your God are all alive today.
5
חזו דאלפית יתכון קימיא ודיניא כמא די פקדני יי אלהי למעבד כן בגו ארעא די אתון עלין תמן למירתה:
khzw dalpyth ythkwn qymya wdynya kma dy pqdny yy alhy lmebd kn bgw area dy athwn elyn thmn lmyrthh
Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as Yahweh my God commanded me, that you should do so in the middle of the land where you go in to possess it.

ותטרון ותעבדון ארי היא חכמתכון וסוכלתנותכון לעיני עממיא די ישמעון ית כל קימיא האלין וימרון לחוד עם חכים וסוכלתן עמא רבא הדין:
wthTrwn wthebdwn ary hya khkmthkwn wswklthnwthkwn leyny emmya dy yshmewn yth kl qymya halyn wymrwn lkhwd em khkym wswklthn ema rba hdyn
Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who shall hear all these statutes and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”

ארי מן עם רב די ליה אלהא קריב ליה לקבלא צלותיה בעדן עקתיה כיי אלהנא בכל עדן דאנחנא מצלין קדמוהי:
ary mn em rb dy lyh alha qryb lyh lqbla tslwthyh bedn eqthyh kyy alhna bkl edn dankhna mtslyn qdmwhy
For what great nation is there that has a god so near to them as Yahweh our God is whenever we call on him?

ומן עם רב די ליה קימין ודינין קשיטין ככל אוריתא הדא די אנא יהב קדמיכון יומא דין:
wmn em rb dy lyh qymyn wdynyn qshyTyn kkl awrytha hda dy ana yhb qdmykwn ywma dyn
What great nation is there that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law which I set before you today?

לחוד אסתמר לך וטר נפשך לחדא דילמא תנשי ית פתגמיא די חזו עיניך ודילמא יעדון מלבך כל יומי חייך ותהודענון לבניך ולבני בניך:
lkhwd asthmr lk wTr npshk lkhda dylma thnshy yth pthgmya dy khzw eynyk wdylma yedwn mlbk kl ywmy khyyk wthhwdenwn lbnyk wlbny bnyk
Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—

יומא די קמתא קדם יי אלהך בחרב כד אמר יי לי כנוש קדמי ית עמא ואשמענון ית פתגמי די ילפון למדחל קדמי כל יומיא די אנון קימין על ארעא וית בניהון ילפון:
ywma dy qmtha qdm yy alhk bkhrb kd amr yy ly knwsh qdmy yth ema washmenwn yth pthgmy dy ylpwn lmdkhl qdmy kl ywmya dy anwn qymyn el area wyth bnyhwn ylpwn
the day that you stood before Yahweh your God in Horeb, when Yahweh said to me, “Assemble the people to me, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.”

וקרבתון וקמתון בשפולי טורא וטורא בער באשתא עד צית שמיא חשוכא עננא ואמיטתא:
wqrbthwn wqmthwn bshpwly Twra wTwra ber bashtha ed tsyth shmya khshwka enna wamyTtha
You came near and stood under the mountain. The mountain burned with fire to the heart of the sky, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.

ומליל יי עמכון מגו אשתא קל פתגמין אתון שמעין ודמות ליתיכון חזן אלהן קלא:
wmlyl yy emkwn mgw ashtha ql pthgmyn athwn shmeyn wdmwth lythykwn khzn alhn qla
Yahweh spoke to you out of the middle of the fire: you heard the voice of words, but you saw no form; you only heard a voice.

וחוי לכון ית קימיה די פקיד יתכון למעבד עשרת פתגמין וכתבנון על תרין לוחי אבניא:
wkhwy lkwn yth qymyh dy pqyd ythkwn lmebd eshrth pthgmyn wkthbnwn el thryn lwkhy abnya
He declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments. He wrote them on two stone tablets.

ויתי פקיד יי בעדנא ההיא לאלפא יתכון קימין ודינין למעבדכון יתהון בארעא די אתון עברין תמן למירתה:
wythy pqyd yy bedna hhya lalpa ythkwn qymyn wdynyn lmebdkwn ythhwn barea dy athwn ebryn thmn lmyrthh
Yahweh commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and ordinances, that you might do them in the land where you go over to possess it.

ותסתמרון לחדא לנפשתיכון ארי לא חזיתון כל דמות ביומא די מליל יי עמכון בחרב מגו אשתא:
wthsthmrwn lkhda lnpshthykwn ary la khzythwn kl dmwth bywma dy mlyl yy emkwn bkhrb mgw ashtha
Be very careful, for you saw no kind of form on the day that Yahweh spoke to you in Horeb out of the middle of the fire,

דילמא תחבלון ותעבדון לכון צלם דמות כל צורא דמות דכר או נקבא:
dylma thkhblwn wthebdwn lkwn tslm dmwth kl tswra dmwth dkr aw nqba
lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself a carved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

דמות כל בעירא די בארעא דמות כל צפר גדפא די פרח באור רקיע שמיא:
dmwth kl beyra dy barea dmwth kl tspr gdpa dy prkh bawr rqye shmya
the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky,
18
דמות כל רחשא די בארעא דמות כל נוני די במיא מלרע לארעא:
dmwth kl rkhsha dy barea dmwth kl nwny dy bmya mlre larea
the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth;
19
ודילמא תזקוף עיניך לשמיא ותחזי ית שמשא וית סיהרא וית כוכביא כל חילי שמיא ותטעי ותסגוד להון ותפלחנון די זמין יי אלהך יתהון לכל עממיא תחות כל שמיא:
wdylma thzqwp eynyk lshmya wthkhzy yth shmsha wyth syhra wyth kwkbya kl khyly shmya wthTey wthsgwd lhwn wthplkhnwn dy zmyn yy alhk ythhwn lkl emmya thkhwth kl shmya
and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky.
20
ויתכון קריב יי לדחלתיה ואפק יתכון מכורא דפרזלא ממצרים למהוי ליה לעמא אחסנא כיומא הדין:
wythkwn qryb yy ldkhlthyh wapq ythkwn mkwra dprzla mmtsrym lmhwy lyh lema akhsna kywma hdyn
But Yahweh has taken you, and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as it is today.

ומן קדם יי הוה רגז עלי על פתגמיכון וקיים בדיל דלא למעבר ית ירדנא ובדיל דלא למיעל לארעא טבא די יי אלהך יהב לך אחסנא:
wmn qdm yy hwh rgz ely el pthgmykwn wqyym bdyl dla lmebr yth yrdna wbdyl dla lmyel larea Tba dy yy alhk yhb lk akhsna
Furthermore Yahweh was angry with me for your sakes, and swore that I should not go over the Jordan, and that I should not go in to that good land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance;

ארי אנא מאית בארעא הדא לית אנא עבר ית ירדנא ואתון עברין ותירתון ית ארעא טבא הדא:
ary ana mayth barea hda lyth ana ebr yth yrdna wathwn ebryn wthyrthwn yth area Tba hda
but I must die in this land. I must not go over the Jordan, but you shall go over and possess that good land.

אסתמרו לכון דילמא תתנשון ית קימא דיי אלהכון די גזר עמכון ותעבדון לכון צלם דמות כלא די פקדך יי אלהך:
asthmrw lkwn dylma ththnshwn yth qyma dyy alhkwn dy gzr emkwn wthebdwn lkwn tslm dmwth kla dy pqdk yy alhk
Be careful, lest you forget the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he made with you, and make yourselves a carved image in the form of anything which Yahweh your God has forbidden you.
24
ארי יי אלהך מימריה אשא אכלא הוא אל קנא:
ary yy alhk mymryh asha akla hwa al qna
For Yahweh your God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.
25
ארי תולדון בנין ובני בנין ותתעתקון בארעא ותחבלון ותעבדון צלם דמות כלא ותעבדון דביש קדם יי אלהך לארגזא קדמוהי:
ary thwldwn bnyn wbny bnyn wththethqwn barea wthkhblwn wthebdwn tslm dmwth kla wthebdwn dbysh qdm yy alhk largza qdmwhy
When you father children and children’s children, and you have been long in the land, and then corrupt yourselves, and make a carved image in the form of anything, and do that which is evil in Yahweh your God’s sight to provoke him to anger,

אסהדית בכון יומא דין ית שמיא וית ארעא ארי מיבד תיבדון בפריע מעל ארעא די אתון עברין ית ירדנא לתמן למירתה לא תורכון יומין עלה ארי אשתצאה תשתצון:
ashdyth bkwn ywma dyn yth shmya wyth area ary mybd thybdwn bprye mel area dy athwn ebryn yth yrdna lthmn lmyrthh la thwrkwn ywmyn elh ary ashthtsah thshthtswn
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from off the land which you go over the Jordan to possess it. You will not prolong your days on it, but will utterly be destroyed.
27
ויבדר יי יתכון בעממיא ותשתארון עם דמנין בעממיא די ידבר יי יתכון לתמן:
wybdr yy ythkwn bemmya wthshtharwn em dmnyn bemmya dy ydbr yy ythkwn lthmn
Yahweh will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where Yahweh will lead you away.
28
ותפלחון תמן לעממיא פלחי טעותא עבד ידי אנשא אעא ואבנא די לא יחזון ולא שמעין ולא אכלין ולא מריחין:
wthplkhwn thmn lemmya plkhy Tewtha ebd ydy ansha aea wabna dy la ykhzwn wla shmeyn wla aklyn wla mrykhyn
There you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

ותתבעון מתמן דחלתא דיי אלהך ותשכח ארי תבעי מן קדמוהי בכל לבך ובכל נפשך:
wththbewn mthmn dkhltha dyy alhk wthshkkh ary thbey mn qdmwhy bkl lbk wbkl npshk
But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
30
כד ייעוק לך וישכחנך כל פתגמיא האלין בסוף יומיא ותתוב לדחלתא דיי אלהך ותקבל למימריה:
kd yyewq lk wyshkkhnk kl pthgmya halyn bswp ywmya wththwb ldkhltha dyy alhk wthqbl lmymryh
When you are in oppression, and all these things have come on you, in the latter days you shall return to Yahweh your God and listen to his voice.
31
ארי אלהא רחמנא יי אלהך לא ישבקנך ולא יחבלנך ולא יתנשי ית קימא דאבהתך די קיים להון:
ary alha rkhmna yy alhk la yshbqnk wla ykhblnk wla ythnshy yth qyma dabhthk dy qyym lhwn
For Yahweh your God is a merciful God. He will not fail you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.
32
ארי שאל כען ליומיא קדמאי דהוו קדמך למן יומא די ברא יי אדם על ארעא ולמסיפי שמיא ועד סיפי שמיא ההוה כפתגמא רבא הדין או האשתמע כותיה:
ary shal ken lywmya qdmay dhww qdmk lmn ywma dy bra yy adm el area wlmsypy shmya wed sypy shmya hhwh kpthgma rba hdyn aw hashthme kwthyh
For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and from the one end of the sky to the other, whether there has been anything as great as this thing is, or has been heard like it?

השמע עמא קל מימרא דיי ממלל מגו אשתא כמא די שמעת את ויתקים:
hshme ema ql mymra dyy mmll mgw ashtha kma dy shmeth ath wythqym
Did a people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as you have heard, and live?

או נסין די עבד יי לאתגלאה למפרק ליה עם מגו עם בנסין באתין ובמופתין ובקרבא ובידא תקיפא ובדרעא מרמא ובחזונין רברבין ככל די עבד לכון יי אלהכון במצרים לעיניך:
aw nsyn dy ebd yy lathglah lmprq lyh em mgw em bnsyn bathyn wbmwpthyn wbqrba wbyda thqypa wbdrea mrma wbkhzwnyn rbrbyn kkl dy ebd lkwn yy alhkwn bmtsrym leynyk
Or has God tried to go and take a nation for himself from among another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand, by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Yahweh your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
35
את אתחזיתא למדע ארי יי הוא אלהים לית עוד בר מניה:
ath athkhzytha lmde ary yy hwa alhym lyth ewd br mnyh
It was shown to you so that you might know that Yahweh is God. There is no one else besides him.
36
מן שמיא אשמעך ית קל מימריה לאלפותך ועל ארעא אחזיך ית אשתיה רבתא ופתגמוהי שמעת מגו אשתא:
mn shmya ashmek yth ql mymryh lalpwthk wel area akhzyk yth ashthyh rbtha wpthgmwhy shmeth mgw ashtha
Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you. On earth he made you to see his great fire; and you heard his words out of the middle of the fire.
37
וחלף ארי רחים ית אבהתך ואתרעי בבנוהי בתרוהי ואפקך במימריה בחיליה רבא ממצרים:
wkhlp ary rkhym yth abhthk wathrey bbnwhy bthrwhy wapqk bmymryh bkhylyh rba mmtsrym
Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their offspring after them, and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;
38
לתרכא עממין רברבין ותקיפין מנך מן קדמך לאעלותך למתן לך ית ארעהון אחסנא כיומא הדין:
lthrka emmyn rbrbyn wthqypyn mnk mn qdmk laelwthk lmthn lk yth arehwn akhsna kywma hdyn
to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is today.
39
ותדע יומא דין ותתוב ללבך ארי יי הוא אלהא דשכנתיה בשמיא מלעלא ושליט על ארעא מלרע לית עוד:
wthde ywma dyn wththwb llbk ary yy hwa alha dshknthyh bshmya mlela wshlyT el area mlre lyth ewd
Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else.
40
ותטר ית קימוהי וית פקודוהי די אנא מפקדך יומא דין די ייטב לך ולבניך בתרך ובדיל דתוריך יומין על ארעא די יי אלהך יהב לך כל יומיא:
wthTr yth qymwhy wyth pqwdwhy dy ana mpqdk ywma dyn dy yyTb lk wlbnyk bthrk wbdyl dthwryk ywmyn el area dy yy alhk yhb lk kl ywmya
You shall keep his statutes and his commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for all time.
41
בכן יפרש משה תלת קרוין בעברא דירדנא מדנח שמשא:
bkn yprsh mshh thlth qrwyn bebra dyrdna mdnkh shmsha
Then Moses set apart three cities beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise,
42
למעירוק תמן קטולא די יקטול ית חבריה בלא מנדעי והוא לא סני ליה מאתמלי ומדקמוהי ויערוק לחד מן קרויא האלין ויתקים:
lmeyrwq thmn qTwla dy yqTwl yth khbryh bla mndey whwa la sny lyh mathmly wmdqmwhy wyerwq lkhd mn qrwya halyn wythqym
that the man slayer might flee there, who kills his neighbor unintentionally and didn’t hate him in time past, and that fleeing to one of these cities he might live:
43
ית בצר במדברא בארעא מישרא לשבטא דראובן וית ראמות בגלעד לשבטא דגד וית גולן במתנן לשבטא דמנשה:
yth btsr bmdbra barea myshra lshbTa drawbn wyth ramwth bgled lshbTa dgd wyth gwln bmthnn lshbTa dmnshh
Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, for the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan for the Manassites.
44
ודא אוריתא די סדר משה קדם בני ישראל:
wda awrytha dy sdr mshh qdm bny yshral
This is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel.
45
אלין סהדותא וקימיא ודיניא די מליל משה עם בני ישראל במפקהון ממצרים:
alyn shdwtha wqymya wdynya dy mlyl mshh em bny yshral bmpqhwn mmtsrym
These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances which Moses spoke to the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt,
46
בעברא דירדנא בחילתא לקבל בית פעור בארעא דסיחן מלכא דאמראה די יתב בחשבון די מחא משה ובני ישראל במפקהון ממצרים:
bebra dyrdna bkhyltha lqbl byth pewr barea dsykhn mlka damrah dy ythb bkhshbwn dy mkha mshh wbny yshral bmpqhwn mmtsrym
beyond the Jordan, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel struck when they came out of Egypt.

ויריתו ית ארעיה וית ארעא דעוג מלכא דמתנן תרין מלכי אמראה די בעברא דירדנא מדנח שמשא:
wyrythw yth areyh wyth area dewg mlka dmthnn thryn mlky amrah dy bebra dyrdna mdnkh shmsha
They took possession of his land and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise;
48
מערער די על כיף נחלא דארנן ועד טורא דשיאן הוא חרמון:
merer dy el kyp nkhla darnn wed Twra dshyan hwa khrmwn
from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, even to Mount Siyon (also called Hermon),
49
וכל מישרא עברא דירדנא למדינחא ועד ימא דמישרא תחות משפך מרמתא:
wkl myshra ebra dyrdna lmdynkha wed yma dmyshra thkhwth mshpk mrmtha
and all the Arabah beyond the Jordan eastward, even to the sea of the Arabah, under the slopes of Pisgah.
