ואתפנינא וסלקנא ארח דמתנן ונפק עוג מלכא דמתנן לקדמותנא הוא וכל עמיה לאגחא קרבא אדרעי:
wathpnyna wslqna arkh dmthnn wnpq ewg mlka dmthnn lqdmwthna hwa wkl emyh lagkha qrba adrey
Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan. Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

ואמר יי לי לא תדחל יתיה ארי בידך מסרית יתיה וית כל עמיה וית ארעיה ותעבד ליה כמא די עבדתא לסיחן מלכא דאמראה די יתב בחשבון:
wamr yy ly la thdkhl ythyh ary bydk msryth ythyh wyth kl emyh wyth areyh wthebd lyh kma dy ebdtha lsykhn mlka damrah dy ythb bkhshbwn
Yahweh said to me, “Don’t fear him; for I have delivered him, with all his people and his land, into your hand. You shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”

ומסר יי אלהנא בידנא אף ית עוג מלכא דמתנן וית כל עמיה ומחנוהי עד דלא אשתאר ליה משזב:
wmsr yy alhna bydna ap yth ewg mlka dmthnn wyth kl emyh wmkhnwhy ed dla ashthar lyh mshzb
So Yahweh our God also delivered into our hand Og, the king of Bashan, and all his people. We struck him until no one was left to him remaining.

וכבשנא ית כל קרווהי בעדנא ההיא לא הות קרתא די לא נסבנא מנהון שתין קרוין כל בית פלך טרכונא מלכותא דעוג במתנן:
wkbshna yth kl qrwwhy bedna hhya la hwth qrtha dy la nsbna mnhwn shthyn qrwyn kl byth plk Trkwna mlkwtha dewg bmthnn
We took all his cities at that time. There was not a city which we didn’t take from them: sixty cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

כל אלין קרוין כריכן מקפן שור רם דילהן דשין ועברין בר מקרוי פצחיא סגי לחדא:
kl alyn qrwyn krykn mqpn shwr rm dylhn dshyn webryn br mqrwy ptskhya sgy lkhda
All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, in addition to a great many villages without walls.

וגמרנא יתהון כמא די עבדנא לסיחן מלכא דחשבון גמר כל קרוי גבריא נשיא וטפלא:
wgmrna ythhwn kma dy ebdna lsykhn mlka dkhshbwn gmr kl qrwy gbrya nshya wTpla
We utterly destroyed them, as we did to Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones.

וכל בעירא ועדי קרויא בזנא לנא:
wkl beyra wedy qrwya bzna lna
But all the livestock, and the plunder of the cities, we took for plunder for ourselves.

ונסבנא בעדנא ההיא ית ארעא מידא תרין מלכי אמראה די בעברא דירדנא מנחלא דארנן עד טורא דחרמון:
wnsbna bedna hhya yth area myda thryn mlky amrah dy bebra dyrdna mnkhla darnn ed Twra dkhrmwn
We took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon.

צידנאי קראן לחרמון סרין ואמראי קראן ליה טור תלגא:
tsydnay qran lkhrmwn sryn wamray qran lyh Twr thlga
(The Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir.)

כל קרוי מישרא וכל גלעד וכל דמתנן עד סלכה ואדרעי קרוי מלכותא דעוג במתנן:
kl qrwy myshra wkl gled wkl dmthnn ed slkh wadrey qrwy mlkwtha dewg bmthnn
We took all the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, to Salecah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

ארי לחוד עוג מלכא דמתנן אשתאר משאר גבריא הא ערסיה ערסא דפרזלא הלא היא ברבת בני עמון תשע אמין ארכה וארבע אמין פתיה באמת מלך:
ary lkhwd ewg mlka dmthnn ashthar mshar gbrya ha ersyh ersa dprzla hla hya brbth bny emwn thshe amyn arkh warbe amyn pthyh bamth mlk
(For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the Rephaim. Behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron. Isn’t it in Rabbah of the children of Ammon? Nine cubits was its length, and four cubits its width, after the cubit of a man.)

וית ארעא הדא יריתנא בעדנא ההיא מערער די על נחלא דארנן ופלגות טורא דגלעד וקרווהי יהבית לשבטא דראובן ולשבטא דגד:
wyth area hda yrythna bedna hhya merer dy el nkhla darnn wplgwth Twra dgled wqrwwhy yhbyth lshbTa drawbn wlshbTa dgd
This land we took in possession at that time: from Aroer, which is by the valley of the Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead with its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites;

ושאר גלעד וכל דמתנן מלכותא דעוג יהבית לפלגות שבטא דמנשה כל בית פלך טרכונא לכל מתנן ההוא מתקרי ארעא גבריא:
wshar gled wkl dmthnn mlkwtha dewg yhbyth lplgwth shbTa dmnshh kl byth plk Trkwna lkl mthnn hhwa mthqry area gbrya
and the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half-tribe of Manasseh—all the region of Argob, even all Bashan. (The same is called the land of Rephaim.

יאיר בר מנשה נסיב ית כל בית פלך טרכונא עד תחום גשוראה ואפקירוס וקרא יתהון על שמיה ית מתנן כפרני יאיר עד יומא הדין:
yayr br mnshh nsyb yth kl byth plk Trkwna ed thkhwm gshwrah wapqyrws wqra ythhwn el shmyh yth mthnn kprny yayr ed ywma hdyn
Jair the son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called them, even Bashan, after his own name, Havvoth Jair, to this day.)

ולשבטא דראובן ולשבטא דגד יהבית מן גלעד ועד נחלא דארנן גו נחלא ותחום ועד יובקא דנחלא תחום בני עמון:
wlshbTa drawbn wlshbTa dgd yhbyth mn gled wed nkhla darnn gw nkhla wthkhwm wed ywbqa dnkhla thkhwm bny emwn
To the Reubenites and to the Gadites I gave from Gilead even to the valley of the Arnon, the middle of the valley, and its border, even to the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

ומישרא וירדנא ותחומיה מגנוסר ועד ימא דמישרא ימא דמלחא תחות משפך מרמתא מדינחא:
wmyshra wyrdna wthkhwmyh mgnwsr wed yma dmyshra yma dmlkha thkhwth mshpk mrmtha mdynkha
the Arabah also, and the Jordan and its border, from Chinnereth even to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah eastward.

ופקדית יתכון בעדנא ההיא למימר יי אלהכון יהב לכון ית ארעא הדא למירתה מזרזין תעברון קדם אחיכון בני ישראל כל מזרזי חילא:
wpqdyth ythkwn bedna hhya lmymr yy alhkwn yhb lkwn yth area hda lmyrthh mzrzyn thebrwn qdm akhykwn bny yshral kl mzrzy khyla
I commanded you at that time, saying, “Yahweh your God has given you this land to possess it. All of you men of valor shall pass over armed before your brothers, the children of Israel.

לחוד נשיכון וטפלכון ובעירכון ידענא ארי בעיר סגי לכון יתבון בקרויכון די יהבית לכון:
lkhwd nshykwn wTplkwn wbeyrkwn ydena ary beyr sgy lkwn ythbwn bqrwykwn dy yhbyth lkwn
But your wives, and your little ones, and your livestock, (I know that you have much livestock), shall live in your cities which I have given you,

עד די יניח יי לאחיכון כותכון וירתון אף אנון ית ארעא דיי אלהכון יהב להון בעברא דירדנא ותתובון גבר לירתתיה די יהבית לכון:
ed dy ynykh yy lakhykwn kwthkwn wyrthwn ap anwn yth area dyy alhkwn yhb lhwn bebra dyrdna wththwbwn gbr lyrththyh dy yhbyth lkwn
until Yahweh gives rest to your brothers, as to you, and they also possess the land which Yahweh your God gives them beyond the Jordan. Then you shall each return to his own possession, which I have given you.”

וית יהושוע פקדית בעדנא ההיא למימר עיניך חזאה ית כל די עבד יי אלהכון לתרין מלכיא האלין כן יעבד יי לכל מלכותא די את עבר לתמן:
wyth yhwshwe pqdyth bedna hhya lmymr eynyk khzah yth kl dy ebd yy alhkwn lthryn mlkya halyn kn yebd yy lkl mlkwtha dy ath ebr lthmn
I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, “Your eyes have seen all that Yahweh your God has done to these two kings. So shall Yahweh do to all the kingdoms where you go over.

לא תדחלון מנהון ארי יי אלהכון מימריה יגיח לכון:
la thdkhlwn mnhwn ary yy alhkwn mymryh ygykh lkwn
You shall not fear them; for Yahweh your God himself fights for you.”
23
וצליתי קדם יי בעדנא ההיא למימר:
wtslythy qdm yy bedna hhya lmymr
I begged Yahweh at that time, saying,
24
יי אלהים את שריתא לאחזאה ית עבדך ית רבותך וית ידך תקפתא די את הוא אלהא דשכנתך בשמיא מלעלא ושליט בארעא ולית דיעבד כעובדיך וכגברתך:
yy alhym ath shrytha lakhzah yth ebdk yth rbwthk wyth ydk thqptha dy ath hwa alha dshknthk bshmya mlela wshlyT barea wlyth dyebd kewbdyk wkgbrthk
“Lord Yahweh, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or in earth that can do works like yours, and mighty acts like yours?

אעבר כען ואחזי ית ארעא טבתא די בעברא דירדנא טורא טבא הדין ובית מקדשא:
aebr ken wakhzy yth area Tbtha dy bebra dyrdna Twra Tba hdyn wbyth mqdsha
Please let me go over and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that fine mountain, and Lebanon.”

והוה רגז מן קדם יי עלי בדילכון ולא קביל מני ואמר יי לי סגי לך לא תוסף למללא קדמי עוד בפתגמא הדין:
whwh rgz mn qdm yy ely bdylkwn wla qbyl mny wamr yy ly sgy lk la thwsp lmlla qdmy ewd bpthgma hdyn
But Yahweh was angry with me because of you, and didn’t listen to me. Yahweh said to me, “That is enough! Speak no more to me of this matter.

סק לריש רמתא וזקוף עיניך למערבא ולצפונא ולדרומא ולמדינחא וחזי בעיניך ארי לא תעבר ית ירדנא הדין:
sq lrysh rmtha wzqwp eynyk lmerba wltspwna wldrwma wlmdynkha wkhzy beynyk ary la thebr yth yrdna hdyn
Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and see with your eyes; for you shall not go over this Jordan.

ופקד ית יהושע ותקפהי ואלמהי ארי הוא יעבר קדם עמא הדין והוא יחסן יתהון ית ארעא די תחזי:
wpqd yth yhwshe wthqphy walmhy ary hwa yebr qdm ema hdyn whwa ykhsn ythhwn yth area dy thkhzy
But commission Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you shall see.”

ויתבנא בחילתא לקבל בית פעור:
wythbna bkhyltha lqbl byth pewr
So we stayed in the valley near Beth Peor.
