וסלק משה ממישרא דמואב לטורא דנבו ריש רמתא די על אפי ירחו ואחזייה יי ית כל ארעא ית גלעד עד דן:
dn ed gled yth area kl yth yy wakhzyyh yrkhw apy el dy rmtha rysh dnbw lTwra dmwab mmyshra mshh wslq
Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is opposite Jericho. Yahweh showed him all the land of Gilead to Dan,

וית כל נפתלי וית ארעא דאפרים ומנשה וית כל ארעא דיהודה עד ימא מערבא:
merba yma ed dyhwdh area kl wyth wmnshh daprym area wyth npthly kl wyth
and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the Western Sea,

וית דרומא וית מישרא בקעתא דירחו קרתא דדקליא עד צער:
tser ed ddqlya qrtha dyrkhw bqetha myshra wyth drwma wyth
and the south, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho the city of palm trees, to Zoar.

ואמר יי ליה דא ארעא די קימית לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב למימר לבניך אתננה אחזיתך בעיניך ולתמן לא תעבר:
thebr la wlthmn beynyk akhzythk athnnh lbnyk lmymr wlyeqb lytskhq labrhm qymyth dy area da lyh yy wamr
Yahweh said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.”

ומית תמן משה עבדא דיי בארעא דמואב על מימרא דיי:
dyy mymra el dmwab barea dyy ebda mshh thmn wmyth
So Moses the servant of Yahweh died there in the land of Moab, according to Yahweh’s word.

וקבר יתיה בחילתא בארעא דמואב לקבל בית פעור ולא ידע אנש ית קברתיה עד יומא הדין:
hdyn ywma ed qbrthyh yth ansh yde wla pewr byth lqbl dmwab barea bkhyltha ythyh wqbr
He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, but no man knows where his tomb is to this day.

ומשה בר מאה ועשרין שנין כד מית לא כהת עינוהי ולא שנא זיו יקרא דאפוהי:
dapwhy yqra zyw shna wla eynwhy khth la myth kd shnyn weshryn mah br wmshh
Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone.

ובכו בני ישראל ית משה במישריא דמואב תלתין יומין ושלימו יומי בכיתא אבלא דמשה:
dmshh abla bkytha ywmy wshlymw ywmyn thlthyn dmwab bmyshrya mshh yth yshral bny wbkw
The children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended.

ויהושע בר נון מלי רוח חכמתא ארי סמך משה ית ידוהי עלוהי וקבילו מניה בני ישראל ועבדו כמא די פקיד יי ית משה:
mshh yth yy pqyd dy kma webdw yshral bny mnyh wqbylw elwhy ydwhy yth mshh smk ary khkmtha rwkh mly nwn br wyhwshe
Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. The children of Israel listened to him, and did as Yahweh commanded Moses.

ולא קם נביא עוד בישראל כמשה די אתגלי ליה יי אפין באפין:
bapyn apyn yy lyh athgly dy kmshh byshral ewd nbya qm wla
Since then, there has not arisen a prophet in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face,

לכל אתיא ומופתיא די שלחיה יי למעבד בארעא דמצרים לפרעה ולכל עבדוהי ולכל ארעיה:
areyh wlkl ebdwhy wlkl lpreh dmtsrym barea lmebd yy shlkhyh dy wmwpthya athya lkl
in all the signs and the wonders which Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
