ואזל משה ומליל ית פתגמיא האלין עם כל ישראל:
wazl mshh wmlyl yth pthgmya halyn em kl yshral
Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel.

ואמר להון בר מאה ועשרין שנין אנא יומא דין לית אנא יכיל עוד למפק ולמעל ויי אמר לי לא תעבר ית ירדנא הדין:
wamr lhwn br mah weshryn shnyn ana ywma dyn lyth ana ykyl ewd lmpq wlmel wyy amr ly la thebr yth yrdna hdyn
He said to them, “I am one hundred twenty years old today. I can no more go out and come in. Yahweh has said to me, ‘You shall not go over this Jordan.’

יי אלהך מימריה יעבר קדמך הוא ישצי ית עממיא האלין מקדמך ותירתנון יהושע הוא עבר קדמך כמא די מליל יי:
yy alhk mymryh yebr qdmk hwa yshtsy yth emmya halyn mqdmk wthyrthnwn yhwshe hwa ebr qdmk kma dy mlyl yy
Yahweh your God himself will go over before you. He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. Joshua will go over before you, as Yahweh has spoken.

ויעבד יי להון כמא די עבד לסיחון ולעוג מלכי אמראה ולארעהון די שצי יתהון:
wyebd yy lhwn kma dy ebd lsykhwn wlewg mlky amrah wlarehwn dy shtsy ythhwn
Yahweh will do to them as he did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, when he destroyed them.

וימסרנון יי קדמיכון ותעבדון להון ככל תפקדתא די פקדית יתכון:
wymsrnwn yy qdmykwn wthebdwn lhwn kkl thpqdtha dy pqdyth ythkwn
Yahweh will deliver them up before you, and you shall do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you.

תקיפו ואלימו לא תדחלון ולא תתברון מקדמיהון ארי יי אלהך הוא דמדבר קדמך לא ישבקנך ולא ירטשנך:
thqypw walymw la thdkhlwn wla ththbrwn mqdmyhwn ary yy alhk hwa dmdbr qdmk la yshbqnk wla yrTshnk
Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.”

וקרא משה ליהושע ואמר ליה לעיני כל ישראל תקף ואלים ארי את תעול עם עמא הדין לארעא די קיים יי לאבהתהון למתן להון ואת תחסננה יתהון:
wqra mshh lyhwshe wamr lyh leyny kl yshral thqp walym ary ath thewl em ema hdyn larea dy qyym yy labhthhwn lmthn lhwn wath thkhsnnh ythhwn
Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land which Yahweh has sworn to their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.

ויי הוא דמדבר קדמך מימריה יהי בסעדך לא ישבקנך ולא ירחקנך לא תדחל ולא תתבר:
wyy hwa dmdbr qdmk mymryh yhy bsedk la yshbqnk wla yrkhqnk la thdkhl wla ththbr
Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged.”

וכתב משה ית אוריתא הדא ויהבה לכהניא בני לוי דנטלין ית ארון קימא דיי ולכל סבי ישראל:
wkthb mshh yth awrytha hda wyhbh lkhnya bny lwy dnTlyn yth arwn qyma dyy wlkl sby yshral
Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, and to all the elders of Israel.

ופקיד משה יתהון למימר מסוף שבע שנין בזמן שתא דשמטתא בחגא דמטליא:
wpqyd mshh ythhwn lmymr mswp shbe shnyn bzmn shtha dshmTtha bkhga dmTlya
Moses commanded them, saying, “At the end of every seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of booths,

במיתי כל ישראל לאתחזאה קדם יי אלהך באתרא די יתרעי תקרי ית אוריתא הדא קדם כל ישראל ותשמענון:
bmythy kl yshral lathkhzah qdm yy alhk bathra dy ythrey thqry yth awrytha hda qdm kl yshral wthshmenwn
when all Israel has come to appear before Yahweh your God in the place which he will choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

כנוש ית עמא גבריא ונשיא וטפלא וגיורך די בקרויך בדיל דישמעון ובדיל דילפון וידחלון מקדם יי אלהכון ויטרון למעבד ית כל פתגמי אוריתא הדא:
knwsh yth ema gbrya wnshya wTpla wgywrk dy bqrwyk bdyl dyshmewn wbdyl dylpwn wydkhlwn mqdm yy alhkwn wyTrwn lmebd yth kl pthgmy awrytha hda
Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and the foreigners who are within your gates, that they may hear, learn, fear Yahweh your God, and observe to do all the words of this law,

ובניהון די לא ידעון ישמעון וילפון למדחל ית יי אלהכון כל יומיא די אתון קימין על ארעא די אתון עברין ית ירדנא תמן למירתה:
wbnyhwn dy la ydewn yshmewn wylpwn lmdkhl yth yy alhkwn kl ywmya dy athwn qymyn el area dy athwn ebryn yth yrdna thmn lmyrthh
and that their children, who have not known, may hear and learn to fear Yahweh your God, as long as you live in the land where you go over the Jordan to possess it.”

ואמר יי למשה הא קריבו יומיך לממת קרא ית יהושע ואתעתדו במשכן זמנא ואפקדניה ואזל משה ויהושע ואתעתדו במשכן זמנא:
wamr yy lmshh ha qrybw ywmyk lmmth qra yth yhwshe wathethdw bmshkn zmna wapqdnyh wazl mshh wyhwshe wathethdw bmshkn zmna
Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, your days approach that you must die. Call Joshua, and present yourselves in the Tent of Meeting, that I may commission him.” Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the Tent of Meeting.

ואתגלי יי במשכנא בעמודא דעננא וקם עמודא דעננא על תרע משכנא:
wathgly yy bmshkna bemwda denna wqm emwda denna el thre mshkna
Yahweh appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood over the Tent’s door.

ואמר יי למשה הא את שכב עם אבהתך ויקום עמא הדין ויטעי בתר טעות עממי ארעא די הוא על תמן ביניהון וישבקון דחלתי וישנון ית קימי די גזרית עמהון:
wamr yy lmshh ha ath shkb em abhthk wyqwm ema hdyn wyTey bthr Tewth emmy area dy hwa el thmn bynyhwn wyshbqwn dkhlthy wyshnwn yth qymy dy gzryth emhwn
Yahweh said to Moses, “Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers. This people will rise up and play the prostitute after the strange gods of the land where they go to be among them, and will forsake me and break my covenant which I have made with them.

ויתקוף רגזי בהון ביומא ההוא וארחקנון ואסלק שכנתי מנהון ויהון למבז ויערען יתהון בישן סגיאן ועקן ויימר ביומא ההוא הלא מדלית שכינת אלהי ביני ערעוני בישיא האלין:
wythqwp rgzy bhwn bywma hhwa warkhqnwn waslq shknthy mnhwn wyhwn lmbz wyeren ythhwn byshn sgyan weqn wyymr bywma hhwa hla mdlyth shkynth alhy byny erewny byshya halyn
Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall come on them; so that they will say in that day, ‘Haven’t these evils come on us because our God is not among us?’

ואנא סלקא אסלק שכנתי מנהון ביומא ההוא על כל בישא די עבדו ארי אתפניו לטעות עממיא:
wana slqa aslq shknthy mnhwn bywma hhwa el kl bysha dy ebdw ary athpnyw lTewth emmya
I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evil which they have done, in that they have turned to other gods.

וכען כתיבו לכון ית תשבחתא הדא ואלפה ית בני ישראל שויה בפמהון בדיל דתהי קדמי תשבחתא הדא לסהיד בבני ישראל:
wken kthybw lkwn yth thshbkhtha hda walph yth bny yshral shwyh bpmhwn bdyl dthhy qdmy thshbkhtha hda lshyd bbny yshral
“Now therefore write this song for yourselves, and teach it to the children of Israel. Put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.

ארי אעלנון לארעא די קימית לאבהתהון עבדא חלב ודבש וייכלון וישבעון ויתפנקון ויתפנון בתר טעות עממיא ויפלחנון וירגזון קדמי וישנון ית קימי:
ary aelnwn larea dy qymyth labhthhwn ebda khlb wdbsh wyyklwn wyshbewn wythpnqwn wythpnwn bthr Tewth emmya wyplkhnwn wyrgzwn qdmy wyshnwn yth qymy
For when I have brought them into the land which I swore to their fathers, flowing with milk and honey, and they have eaten and filled themselves, and grown fat, then they will turn to other gods, and serve them, and despise me, and break my covenant.

ויהי ארי יערען יתיה בישן סגיאן ועקן ותתב תשבחתא הדא קדמוהי לסהיד ארי לא תתנשי מפום בניהון ארי גלי קדמי ית יצרהון די אנון עבדין יומא דין עד לא אעלנון לארעא די קימית:
wyhy ary yeren ythyh byshn sgyan weqn wththb thshbkhtha hda qdmwhy lshyd ary la ththnshy mpwm bnyhwn ary gly qdmy yth ytsrhwn dy anwn ebdyn ywma dyn ed la aelnwn larea dy qymyth
It will happen, when many evils and troubles have come on them, that this song will testify before them as a witness; for it will not be forgotten out of the mouths of their descendants; for I know their ways and what they are doing today, before I have brought them into the land which I promised them.”

וכתב משה ית תושבחתא הדא ביומא ההוא ואלפנה לבני ישראל:
wkthb mshh yth thwshbkhtha hda bywma hhwa walpnh lbny yshral
So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it to the children of Israel.

ופקיד ית יהושע בר נון ואמר תקף ואלים ארי את תעל ית בני ישראל לארעא די קימית להון ומימרי יהי בסעדך:
wpqyd yth yhwshe br nwn wamr thqp walym ary ath thel yth bny yshral larea dy qymyth lhwn wmymry yhy bsedk
He commissioned Joshua the son of Nun, and said, “Be strong and courageous; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore to them. I will be with you.”

והוה כד שצי משה למכתב ית פתגמי אוריתא הדא על ספרא עד דשלימו:
whwh kd shtsy mshh lmkthb yth pthgmy awrytha hda el spra ed dshlymw
When Moses had finished writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,

ופקיד משה ית לואי נטלי ארון קימא דיי למימר:
wpqyd mshh yth lway nTly arwn qyma dyy lmymr
Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, saying,

סיבו ית ספרא דאוריתא הדין ותשוון יתיה מסטר ארונא קימא דיי אלהכון ויהי תמן בך לסהיד:
sybw yth spra dawrytha hdyn wthshwwn ythyh msTr arwna qyma dyy alhkwn wyhy thmn bk lshyd
“Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of Yahweh your God’s covenant, that it may be there for a witness against you.

ארי אנא ידענא ית סרבנותך וית קדלך דקשיא הא בעד אנא קים עמכון יומא דין מסרבין הויתון קדם יי ואף ארי בתר דאמות:
ary ana ydena yth srbnwthk wyth qdlk dqshya ha bed ana qym emkwn ywma dyn msrbyn hwythwn qdm yy wap ary bthr damwth
For I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you today, you have been rebellious against Yahweh. How much more after my death?

כנישו לותי ית כל סבי שבטיכון וסרכיכון ואמלל קדמיהון ית פתגמיא האלין ואסהד בהון ית שמיא וית ארעא:
knyshw lwthy yth kl sby shbTykwn wsrkykwn wamll qdmyhwn yth pthgmya halyn washd bhwn yth shmya wyth area
Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.

ארי ידענא בתר דאמות ארי חבלא תחבלון ותסטון מן ארחא די פקדית יתכון ותערע יתכון בשתא בסוף יומיא ארי תעבדון ית דביש קדם יי לארגזא קדמוהי בעובדי ידיכון:
ary ydena bthr damwth ary khbla thkhblwn wthsTwn mn arkha dy pqdyth ythkwn wthere ythkwn bshtha bswp ywmya ary thebdwn yth dbysh qdm yy largza qdmwhy bewbdy ydykwn
For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn away from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will happen to you in the latter days, because you will do that which is evil in Yahweh’s sight, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.”

ומליל משה קדם כל קהלא דישראל ית פתגמי תושבחתא הדא עד דשלימו:
wmlyl mshh qdm kl qhla dyshral yth pthgmy thwshbkhtha hda ed dshlymw
Moses spoke in the ears of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song, until they were finished.
