1
ויהי ארי ייתון עלך כל פתגמיא האלין ברכן ולוטין די יהבית קדמך ותתוב ללבך בכל עממיא די אגלך יי אלהך לתמן:
lthmn alhk yy aglk dy emmya bkl llbk wththwb qdmk yhbyth dy wlwTyn brkn halyn pthgmya kl elk yythwn ary wyhy
It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations where Yahweh your God has driven you,

ותתוב לדחלתא דיי אלהך ותקבל למימריה ככל די אנא מפקדך יומא דין את ובניך בכל לבך ובכל נפשך:
npshk wbkl lbk bkl wbnyk ath dyn ywma mpqdk ana dy kkl lmymryh wthqbl alhk dyy ldkhltha wththwb
and return to Yahweh your God and obey his voice according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul,

ויתוב יי אלהך ית שבי גלותך וירחם עלך ויתוב ויכנשנך מכל עממיא די יבדרנך יי אלהך לתמן:
lthmn alhk yy ybdrnk dy emmya mkl wyknshnk wythwb elk wyrkhm glwthk shby yth alhk yy wythwb
that then Yahweh your God will release you from captivity, have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples where Yahweh your God has scattered you.

אם יהי גלותך בסיפי שמיא מתמן יכנשנך יי אלהך ומתמן יקרבנך:
yqrbnk wmthmn alhk yy yknshnk mthmn shmya bsypy glwthk yhy am
If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of the heavens, from there Yahweh your God will gather you, and from there he will bring you back.

ויעלנך יי אלהך לארעא דיריתו אבהתך ותרתה ויוטב לך ויסגנך מאבהתך:
mabhthk wysgnk lk wywTb wthrthh abhthk dyrythw larea alhk yy wyelnk
Yahweh your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you will possess it. He will do you good, and increase your numbers more than your fathers.

ויעדי יי אלהך ית טפשות לבך וית טפשות לבא דבניך למרחם ית יי אלהך בכל לבך ובכל נפשך בדיל חייך:
khyyk bdyl npshk wbkl lbk bkl alhk yy yth lmrkhm dbnyk lba Tpshwth wyth lbk Tpshwth yth alhk yy wyedy
Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your offspring, to love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

ויתן יי אלהך ית כל לוטיא האלין על בעלי דבבך ועל סנאך די רדפוך:
rdpwk dy snak wel dbbk bely el halyn lwTya kl yth alhk yy wythn
Yahweh your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.

ואת תתוב ותקבל במימרא דיי ותעבד ית כל פקודוהי די אנא מפקדך יומא דין:
dyn ywma mpqdk ana dy pqwdwhy kl yth wthebd dyy bmymra wthqbl ththwb wath
You shall return and obey Yahweh’s voice, and do all his commandments which I command you today.

ויותרנך יי אלהך בכל עובדי ידך בולדא דמעך ובולדא דבעירך ובאבא דארעך לטבא ארי יתוב יי למחדי עלך לטב כמא די חדי על אבהתך:
abhthk el khdy dy kma lTb elk lmkhdy yy ythwb ary lTba darek wbaba dbeyrk wbwlda dmek bwlda ydk ewbdy bkl alhk yy wywthrnk
Yahweh your God will make you prosperous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, for good; for Yahweh will again rejoice over you for good, as he rejoiced over your fathers,

ארי תקבל במימרא דיי אלהך למטר פקודוהי וקימוהי דכתיבין בספרא דאוריתא הדין ארי תתוב קדם יי אלהך בכל לבך ובכל נפשך:
npshk wbkl lbk bkl alhk yy qdm ththwb ary hdyn dawrytha bspra dkthybyn wqymwhy pqwdwhy lmTr alhk dyy bmymra thqbl ary
if you will obey Yahweh your God’s voice, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, if you turn to Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

ארי תפקדתא הדא די אנא מפקדך יומא דין לא מפרשא היא מנך ולא רחיקא היא:
hya rkhyqa wla mnk hya mprsha la dyn ywma mpqdk ana dy hda thpqdtha ary
For this commandment which I command you today is not too hard for you or too distant.

לא בשמיא היא למימר מן יסק לנא לשמיא ויסבה לנא וישמעננא יתה ונעבדנה:
wnebdnh ythh wyshmenna lna wysbh lshmya lna ysq mn lmymr hya bshmya la
It is not in heaven, that you should say, “Who will go up for us to heaven, bring it to us, and proclaim it to us, that we may do it?”

ולא מעברא לימא היא למימר מן יעבר לנא לעברא דימא ויסבה לנא וישמעננא יתה ונעבדנה:
wnebdnh ythh wyshmenna lna wysbh dyma lebra lna yebr mn lmymr hya lyma mebra wla
Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, “Who will go over the sea for us, bring it to us, and proclaim it to us, that we may do it?”

ארי קריב לך פתגמא לחדא בפומך ובלבך למעבדיה:
lmebdyh wblbk bpwmk lkhda pthgma lk qryb ary
But the word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.

חזי דיהבית קדמך יומא דין ית חיי וית טבתא וית מותא וית בישא:
bysha wyth mwtha wyth Tbtha wyth khyy yth dyn ywma qdmk dyhbyth khzy
Behold, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and evil.

די אנא מפקדך יומא דין למרחם ית יי אלהך למהך בארחן דתקנן קדמוהי ולמטר פקודוהי וקימוהי ודינוהי ותיחי ותסגי ויברכנך יי אלהך בארעא די את עלל לתמן למירתה:
lmyrthh lthmn ell ath dy barea alhk yy wybrknk wthsgy wthykhy wdynwhy wqymwhy pqwdwhy wlmTr qdmwhy dthqnn barkhn lmhk alhk yy yth lmrkhm dyn ywma mpqdk ana dy
For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.

ואם יפני לבך ולא תקבל ותטעי ותסגוד לטעות עממיא ותפלחנון:
wthplkhnwn emmya lTewth wthsgwd wthTey thqbl wla lbk ypny wam
But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away and worship other gods, and serve them,

חויתי לכון יומא דין ארי מיבד תיבדון לא תורכון יומין על ארעא די את עבר ית ירדנא למעל לתמן למירתה:
lmyrthh lthmn lmel yrdna yth ebr ath dy area el ywmyn thwrkwn la thybdwn mybd ary dyn ywma lkwn khwythy
I declare to you today that you will surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you pass over the Jordan to go in to possess it.

אסהדית בכון יומא דין ית שמיא וית ארעא חיי ומותא יהבית קדמך ברכן ולוטין ותתרעי בחיי בדיל דתיחי את ובניך:
wbnyk ath dthykhy bdyl bkhyy wththrey wlwTyn brkn qdmk yhbyth wmwtha khyy area wyth shmya yth dyn ywma bkwn ashdyth
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your descendants,

למרחם ית יי אלהך לקבלא למימריה ולאתקרבא לדחלתיה ארי הוא חייך ואורכות יומיך למתב על ארעא די קיים יי לאבהתך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב למתן להון:
lhwn lmthn wlyeqb lytskhq labrhm labhthk yy qyym dy area el lmthb ywmyk wawrkwth khyyk hwa ary ldkhlthyh wlathqrba lmymryh lqbla alhk yy yth lmrkhm
to love Yahweh your God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
