1
וקרא משה לכל ישראל ואמר להון אתון חזתון ית כל די עבד יי לעיניכון בארעא דמצרים לפרעה ולכל עבדוהי ולכל ארעיה:
areyh wlkl ebdwhy wlkl lpreh dmtsrym barea leynykwn yy ebd dy kl yth khzthwn athwn lhwn wamr yshral lkl mshh wqra
These are the words of the covenant which Yahweh commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, in addition to the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

נסי רברביא די חזאה עיניך אתיא ומופתיא רברביא האנון:
hanwn rbrbya wmwpthya athya eynyk khzah dy rbrbya nsy
Moses called to all Israel, and said to them: Your eyes have seen all that Yahweh did in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land;

ולא יהב יי לכון לבא למדע ועינין למחזי ואדנין למשמע עד יומא הדין:
hdyn ywma ed lmshme wadnyn lmkhzy weynyn lmde lba lkwn yy yhb wla
the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs, and those great wonders.

ודברית יתכון ארבעין שנין במדברא לא בליאת כסותכון מנכון ומסנך לא עדו מעל רגלך:
rglk mel edw la wmsnk mnkwn kswthkwn blyath la bmdbra shnyn arbeyn ythkwn wdbryth
But Yahweh has not given you a heart to know, eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

לחמא לא אכלתון וחמר חדת ועתיק לא שתיתון בדיל דתדעון ארי אנא יי אלהכון:
alhkwn yy ana ary dthdewn bdyl shthythwn la wethyq khdth wkhmr aklthwn la lkhma
I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not grown old on you, and your sandals have not grown old on your feet.

ואתתון לאתרא הדין ונפק סיחון מלכא דחשבון ועוג מלכא דמתנן לקדמותנא לאגחא קרבא ומחונון:
wmkhwnwn qrba lagkha lqdmwthna dmthnn mlka wewg dkhshbwn mlka sykhwn wnpq hdyn lathra waththwn
You have not eaten bread, neither have you drunk wine or strong drink, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.

ונסבנא ית ארעהון ויהבנה לאחסנא לשבטא דראובן ולשבטא דגד ולפלגות שבטא דמנשה:
dmnshh shbTa wlplgwth dgd wlshbTa drawbn lshbTa lakhsna wyhbnh arehwn yth wnsbna
When you came to this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon and Og the king of Bashan came out against us to battle, and we struck them.

ותטרון ית פתגמי קימא הדא ותעבדון יתהון בדיל דתצלחון ית כל די תעבדון:
thebdwn dy kl yth dthtslkhwn bdyl ythhwn wthebdwn hda qyma pthgmy yth wthTrwn
We took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half-tribe of the Manassites.

אתון קימין יומא דין כלכון קדם יי אלהכון רישיכון שבטיכון סביכון וסרכיכון כל אנש ישראל:
yshral ansh kl wsrkykwn sbykwn shbTykwn ryshykwn alhkwn yy qdm klkwn dyn ywma qymyn athwn
Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.

טפלכון נשיכון וגיורך די בגו משריתיך מלקט אעיך עד מלי מייך:
myyk mly ed aeyk mlqT mshrythyk bgw dy wgywrk nshykwn Tplkwn
All of you stand today in the presence of Yahweh your God: your heads, your tribes, your elders, and your officers, even all the men of Israel,

לאעלותך בקימא דיי אלהך ובמומתיה די יי אלהך גזר עמך יומא דין:
dyn ywma emk gzr alhk yy dy wbmwmthyh alhk dyy bqyma laelwthk
your little ones, your wives, and the foreigners who are in the middle of your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water,

בדיל לאקמא יתך יומא דין קדמוהי לעמא והוא יהי לך לאלה כמא די מליל לך וכמא די קיים לאבהתך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב:
wlyeqb lytskhq labrhm labhthk qyym dy wkma lk mlyl dy kma lalh lk yhy whwa lema qdmwhy dyn ywma ythk laqma bdyl
that you may enter into the covenant of Yahweh your God, and into his oath, which Yahweh your God makes with you today,

ולא עמכון בלחודיכון אנא גזר ית קימא הדא וית מומתא הדא:
hda mwmtha wyth hda qyma yth gzr ana blkhwdykwn emkwn wla
that he may establish you today as his people, and that he may be your God, as he spoke to you and as he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

ארי ית מן דאיתוהי הכא עמנא קאם יומא דין קדם יי אלהנא וית די ליתוהי הכא עמנא יומא דין:
dyn ywma emna hka lythwhy dy wyth alhna yy qdm dyn ywma qam emna hka daythwhy mn yth ary
Neither do I make this covenant and this oath with you only,

ארי אתון ידעתון ית דיתבנא בארעא דמצרים וית די עברנא בגו עממיא די עברתון:
ebrthwn dy emmya bgw ebrna dy wyth dmtsrym barea dythbna yth ydethwn athwn ary
but with those who stand here with us today before Yahweh our God, and also with those who are not here with us today

וחזתון ית שקוציהון וית טעותהון אעא ואבנא כספא ודהבא די עמהון:
emhwn dy wdhba kspa wabna aea Tewthhwn wyth shqwtsyhwn yth wkhzthwn
(for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the middle of the nations through which you passed;

דילמא אית בכון גבר או אתתא או זרעית או שבטא די לביה פני יומא דין מדחלתא דיי אלהנא למהך למפלח ית טעות עממיא האנון דילמא אית בכון גבר מהרהר חטאין או זדון:
zdwn aw khTayn mhrhr gbr bkwn ayth dylma hanwn emmya Tewth yth lmplkh lmhk alhna dyy mdkhltha dyn ywma pny lbyh dy shbTa aw zreyth aw aththa aw gbr bkwn ayth dylma
and you have seen their abominations and their idols of wood, stone, silver, and gold, which were among them);

ויהי במשמעיה ית פתגמי מומתא הדא ויחשב בלביה למימר שלמא יהי לי ארי בהרהור לבי אנא אזל בדיל לאוספא ליה חטאי שלותא על זדנותא:
zdnwtha el shlwtha khTay lyh lawspa bdyl azl ana lby bhrhwr ary ly yhy shlma lmymr blbyh wykhshb hda mwmtha pthgmy yth bmshmeyh wyhy
lest there should be among you man, woman, family, or tribe whose heart turns away today from Yahweh our God, to go to serve the gods of those nations; lest there should be among you a root that produces bitter poison;

לא ייבי יי למשבק ליה ארי בכן יתקף רגזא דיי וחמתיה בגברא ההוא וידבקון ביה כל לוטיא דכתיבין בספרא הדין וימחי יי ית שמיה מתחות שמיא:
shmya mthkhwth shmyh yth yy wymkhy hdyn bspra dkthybyn lwTya kl byh wydbqwn hhwa bgbra wkhmthyh dyy rgza ythqp bkn ary lyh lmshbq yy yyby la
and it happen, when he hears the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, “I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart,” to destroy the moist with the dry.

ויפרשניה יי לבישא מכל שבטיא דישראל ככל לוטי קימא דכתיבין בספרא דאוריתא הדין:
hdyn dawrytha bspra dkthybyn qyma lwTy kkl dyshral shbTya mkl lbysha yy wyprshnyh
Yahweh will not pardon him, but then Yahweh’s anger and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book will fall on him, and Yahweh will blot out his name from under the sky.

ויימר דרא בתראה בניכון די יקומון מבתריכון ובר עממין דייתי מארעא רחיקא ויחזון ית מחתא דארעא ההיא וית מרעהא די אמרע יי בה:
bh yy amre dy mreha wyth hhya darea mkhtha yth wykhzwn rkhyqa marea dyythy emmyn wbr mbthrykwn yqwmwn dy bnykwn bthrah dra wyymr
Yahweh will set him apart for evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant written in this book of the law.

גפרתא ומלחא יקידת כל ארעה לא תזרע ולא תצמח ולא יסק בה כל עסבא כמהפכתא דסדם ועמרה אדמה וצבוים די הפך יי ברגזיה ובחמתיה:
wbkhmthyh brgzyh yy hpk dy wtsbwym admh wemrh dsdm kmhpktha esba kl bh ysq wla thtsmkh wla thzre la areh kl yqydth wmlkha gprtha
The generation to come—your children who will rise up after you, and the foreigner who will come from a far land—will say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses with which Yahweh has made it sick,

ויימרון כל עממיא על מה עבד יי כדין לארעא הדא מא תקוף רגזא רבא הדין:
hdyn rba rgza thqwp ma hda larea kdyn yy ebd mh el emmya kl wyymrwn
that all of its land is sulfur, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, doesn’t produce, nor does any grass grow in it, like the overthrow of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, which Yahweh overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath.

ויימרון על דשבקו ית קימא דיי אלהא דאבהתהון די גזר עמהון באפקותיה יתהון מארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym marea ythhwn bapqwthyh emhwn gzr dy dabhthhwn alha dyy qyma yth dshbqw el wyymrwn
Even all the nations will say, “Why has Yahweh done this to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?”
25
ואזלו ופלחו לטעות עממיא וסגידו להון דחלן די לא ידענון ולא אוטיבא להון:
lhwn awTyba wla ydenwn la dy dkhln lhwn wsgydw emmya lTewth wplkhw wazlw
Then men will say, “Because they abandoned the covenant of Yahweh, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,

ותקף רגזא דיי בארעא ההיא לאיתאה עלה ית כל לוטיא דכתיבין בספרא הדין:
hdyn bspra dkthybyn lwTya kl yth elh laythah hhya barea dyy rgza wthqp
and went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they didn’t know and that he had not given to them.
27
וטלטלנון יי מעל ארעהון ברגז ובחמה ובתקוף רגז ואגלנון לארעא אחרי כיומא הדין:
hdyn kywma akhry larea waglnwn rgz wbthqwp wbkhmh brgz arehwn mel yy wTlTlnwn
Therefore Yahweh’s anger burned against this land, to bring on it all the curses that are written in this book.
