ארי יהי דין בין גבריא ויתקרבון לדינא וידוננון ויזכון ית זכאה ויחיבון ית חיבא:
ary yhy dyn byn gbrya wythqrbwn ldyna wydwnnwn wyzkwn yth zkah wykhybwn yth khyba
If there is a controversy between men, and they come to judgment and the judges judge them, then they shall justify the righteous and condemn the wicked.

ויהי אם בר חיבא לאלקאה חיבא וירמניה דינא וילקניה קדמוהי כמסת חובתיה במנין:
wyhy am br khyba lalqah khyba wyrmnyh dyna wylqnyh qdmwhy kmsth khwbthyh bmnyn
It shall be, if the wicked man is worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down and to be beaten before his face, according to his wickedness, by number.

ארבעין ילקניה לא יוסף דילמא יוסף לאלקיותיה על אלין מחא רבא ויקל אחוך לעיניך:
arbeyn ylqnyh la ywsp dylma ywsp lalqywthyh el alyn mkha rba wyql akhwk leynyk
He may sentence him to no more than forty stripes. He shall not give more, lest if he should give more and beat him more than that many stripes, then your brother will be degraded in your sight.

לא תחוד פום תורא בדישיה:
la thkhwd pwm thwra bdyshyh
You shall not muzzle the ox when he treads out the grain.

ארי יתבון אחין כחדא וימות חד מנהון ובר לית ליה לא תהי אתת מתנא לברא לגבר אוחרן יבמה יעול עלה ויסבה ליה לאנתו ויבמה:
ary ythbwn akhyn kkhda wymwth khd mnhwn wbr lyth lyh la thhy athth mthna lbra lgbr awkhrn ybmh yewl elh wysbh lyh lanthw wybmh
If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies and has no son, the wife of the dead shall not be married outside to a stranger. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her, and take her as his wife, and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her.

ויהי בוכרא די תליד יקום על שמא דאחוהי מתנא ולא יתמחי שמיה מישראל:
wyhy bwkra dy thlyd yqwm el shma dakhwhy mthna wla ythmkhy shmyh myshral
It shall be that the firstborn whom she bears shall succeed in the name of his brother who is dead, that his name not be blotted out of Israel.

ואם לא יצבי גברא למסב ית יבמתיה ותסק יבמתיה לתרע בית דינא לקדם סביא ותימר לא צבי יבמי לאקמא לאחוהי שמא בישראל לא אבי ליבמותי:
wam la ytsby gbra lmsb yth ybmthyh wthsq ybmthyh lthre byth dyna lqdm sbya wthymr la tsby ybmy laqma lakhwhy shma byshral la aby lybmwthy
If the man doesn’t want to take his brother’s wife, then his brother’s wife shall go up to the gate to the elders, and say, “My husband’s brother refuses to raise up to his brother a name in Israel. He will not perform the duty of a husband’s brother to me.”

ויקרון ליה סבי קרתיה וימללון עמיה ויקום ויימר לא רענא למסבה:
wyqrwn lyh sby qrthyh wymllwn emyh wyqwm wyymr la rena lmsbh
Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak to him. If he stands and says, “I don’t want to take her,”

ותתקרב יבמתיה לותיה לקדם סביא ותשרי סיניה מעל רגליה ותרוק באנפוהי ותתב ותימר כדין יתעבד לגבר די לא יבני ית ביתא דאחוהי:
wththqrb ybmthyh lwthyh lqdm sbya wthshry synyh mel rglyh wthrwq banpwhy wththb wthymr kdyn ythebd lgbr dy la ybny yth bytha dakhwhy
then his brother’s wife shall come to him in the presence of the elders, and loose his sandal from off his foot, and spit in his face. She shall answer and say, “So shall it be done to the man who does not build up his brother’s house.”

ויתקרי שמיה בישראל בית שרי סינא:
wythqry shmyh byshral byth shry syna
His name shall be called in Israel, “The house of him who had his sandal removed.”

ארי ינצון גברין כחדא גבר ואחוהי ותתקרב אתת חד לשזבא ית בעלה מיד מחוהי ותושט ידה ותתקף בבית בהתתיה:
ary yntswn gbryn kkhda gbr wakhwhy wththqrb athth khd lshzba yth belh myd mkhwhy wthwshT ydh wththqp bbyth bhththyh
When men strive against each other, and the wife of one draws near to deliver her husband out of the hand of him who strikes him, and puts out her hand, and grabs him by his private parts,

ותקוץ ית ידה לא תחוס עינך:
wthqwts yth ydh la thkhws eynk
then you shall cut off her hand. Your eye shall have no pity.

לא יהי לך בכיסך מתקל ומתקל רבתא וזערתא:
la yhy lk bkysk mthql wmthql rbtha wzertha
You shall not have in your bag diverse weights, one heavy and one light.

לא יהי לך בביתך מכילא ומכילא רבתא וזערתא:
la yhy lk bbythk mkyla wmkyla rbtha wzertha
You shall not have in your house diverse measures, one large and one small.

מתקלין שלמין דקשוט יהון לך מכילן שלמין דקשוט יהון לך בדיל דיורכון יומיך על ארעא דיי אלהך יהב לך:
mthqlyn shlmyn dqshwT yhwn lk mkyln shlmyn dqshwT yhwn lk bdyl dywrkwn ywmyk el area dyy alhk yhb lk
You shall have a perfect and just weight. You shall have a perfect and just measure, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

ארי מרחק קדם יי אלהך כל עבד אלין כל עבד שקר:
ary mrkhq qdm yy alhk kl ebd alyn kl ebd shqr
For all who do such things, all who do unrighteously, are an abomination to Yahweh your God.

הוי דכיר ית די עבד לך עמלק בארחא במפקכון ממצרים:
hwy dkyr yth dy ebd lk emlq barkha bmpqkwn mmtsrym
Remember what Amalek did to you by the way as you came out of Egypt,

די ערעך בארחא וקטל בך כל דהוו מתאחרין בתרך ואת משלהי ולאי ולא דחיל מן קדם יי:
dy erek barkha wqTl bk kl dhww mthakhryn bthrk wath mshlhy wlay wla dkhyl mn qdm yy
how he met you by the way, and struck the rearmost of you, all who were feeble behind you, when you were faint and weary; and he didn’t fear God.

ויהי כד יניח יי אלהך לך מכל בעלי דבבך מסחור סחור בארעא די יי אלהך יהב לך אחסנא למירתה תמחי ית דוכרנא דעמלק מתחות שמיא לא תתנשי:
wyhy kd ynykh yy alhk lk mkl bely dbbk mskhwr skhwr barea dy yy alhk yhb lk akhsna lmyrthh thmkhy yth dwkrna demlq mthkhwth shmya la ththnshy
Therefore it shall be, when Yahweh your God has given you rest from all your enemies all around, in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky. You shall not forget.
