ארי יסב גבר אתתא ויבעלנה ויהי אם לא תשכח רחמין בעינוהי ארי אשכח בה עברת פתגם ויכתוב לה גט פטורין ויהב בידה ויפטרנה מביתיה:

When a man takes a wife and marries her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a certificate of divorce, put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

ותפוק מביתיה ותהך ותהי לגבר אחרן:
wthpwq mbythyh wthhk wthhy lgbr akhrn
When she has departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

ויסננה גברא בתראה ויכתוב לה גט פטורין ויתן בידה ויפטרנה מביתיה או ארי ימות גברא בתראה דנסבה ליה לאנתו:
wysnnh gbra bthrah wykthwb lh gT pTwryn wythn bydh wypTrnh mbythyh aw ary ymwth gbra bthrah dnsbh lyh lanthw
If the latter husband hates her, and writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house; or if the latter husband dies, who took her to be his wife;

לית ליה רשו לבעלה קדמאה די פטרה למתב למסבה למהוי ליה לאנתו בתר די אסתאבת ארי מרחקא היא קדם יי ולא תחיב ית ארעא די יי אלהך יהב לך אחסנא:
lyth lyh rshw lbelh qdmah dy pTrh lmthb lmsbh lmhwy lyh lanthw bthr dy asthabth ary mrkhqa hya qdm yy wla thkhyb yth area dy yy alhk yhb lk akhsna
her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife after she is defiled; for that would be an abomination to Yahweh. You shall not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance.

ארי יסב גבר אתתא חדתא לא יפוק בחילא ולא יעבר עלוהי לכל מדעם פני יהי לביתיה שתא חדא ויחדי ית אתתיה די נסב:
ary ysb gbr aththa khdtha la ypwq bkhyla wla yebr elwhy lkl mdem pny yhy lbythyh shtha khda wykhdy yth aththyh dy nsb
When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

לא יסב משכונא רחיא ורכבא ארי בהון מתעבד מזון לכל נפש:
la ysb mshkwna rkhya wrkba ary bhwn mthebd mzwn lkl npsh
No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone as a pledge, for he takes a life in pledge.

ארי ישתכח גבר גנב נפשא מאחוהי מבני ישראל ויתגר ביה ויזבנניה ויתקטל גנבא ההוא ותפלי עבד דביש מבינך:
ary yshthkkh gbr gnb npsha makhwhy mbny yshral wythgr byh wyzbnnyh wythqTl gnba hhwa wthply ebd dbysh mbynk
If a man is found stealing any of his brothers of the children of Israel, and he deals with him as a slave, or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

אסתמר במכתש סגירו למטר לחדא ולמעבד ככל די ילפון יתכון כהניא לואי כמא די פקדתנון תטרון למעבד:
asthmr bmkthsh sgyrw lmTr lkhda wlmebd kkl dy ylpwn ythkwn khnya lway kma dy pqdthnwn thTrwn lmebd
Be careful in the plague of leprosy, that you observe diligently and do according to all that the Levitical priests teach you. As I commanded them, so you shall observe to do.

הוי דכיר ית די עבד יי אלהך למרים בארחא במפקכון ממצרים:
hwy dkyr yth dy ebd yy alhk lmrym barkha bmpqkwn mmtsrym
Remember what Yahweh your God did to Miriam, by the way as you came out of Egypt.

ארי תרשי בחברך רשו מדעם לא תעול לביתיה למסב משכוניה:
ary thrshy bkhbrk rshw mdem la thewl lbythyh lmsb mshkwnyh
When you lend your neighbor any kind of loan, you shall not go into his house to get his pledge.

בברא תקום וגברא די את רשי ביה יפק לותך ית משכונא לברא:
bbra thqwm wgbra dy ath rshy byh ypq lwthk yth mshkwna lbra
You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you lend shall bring the pledge outside to you.
12
ואם גבר מסכן הוא לא תשכוב במשכוניה:
wam gbr mskn hwa la thshkwb bmshkwnyh
If he is a poor man, you shall not sleep with his pledge.
13
אתבא תתב ליה ית משכונא כמעל שמשא וישכוב בכסותיה ויברכנך ולך תהי זכותא קדם יי אלהך:
athba ththb lyh yth mshkwna kmel shmsha wyshkwb bkswthyh wybrknk wlk thhy zkwtha qdm yy alhk
You shall surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his garment and bless you. It shall be righteousness to you before Yahweh your God.

לא תעשוק אגירא עניא ומסכנא מאחיך או מגיורך די בארעך בקרויך:
la theshwq agyra enya wmskna makhyk aw mgywrk dy barek bqrwyk
You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates.

ביומיה תתן אגריה ולא תעול עלוהי שמשא ארי עניא הוא וליה הוא מסר ית נפשיה ולא יקרי עלך קדם יי ויהי בך חובא:
bywmyh ththn agryh wla thewl elwhy shmsha ary enya hwa wlyh hwa msr yth npshyh wla yqry elk qdm yy wyhy bk khwba
In his day you shall give him his wages, neither shall the sun go down on it, for he is poor and sets his heart on it, lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you.

לא ימותון אבהן על פום בנין ובנין לא ימותון על פום אבהן אנש בחוביה ימותון:
la ymwthwn abhn el pwm bnyn wbnyn la ymwthwn el pwm abhn ansh bkhwbyh ymwthwn
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers. Every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

לא תצלי דין גיורא ויתמא ולא תסב משכונא לבוש ארמלא:
la thtsly dyn gywra wythma wla thsb mshkwna lbwsh armla
You shall not deprive the foreigner or the fatherless of justice, nor take a widow’s clothing in pledge;
18
ותדכר ארי עבדא הויתא במצרים ופרקך יי אלהך מתמן על כן אנא מפקדך למעבד ית פתגמא הדין:
wthdkr ary ebda hwytha bmtsrym wprqk yy alhk mthmn el kn ana mpqdk lmebd yth pthgma hdyn
but you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and Yahweh your God redeemed you there. Therefore I command you to do this thing.

ארי תחצוד חצדך בחקלך ותנשי עמרא בחקלא לא תתוב למסביה לגיורא ליתמא ולארמלא יהי בדיל דיברכנך יי אלהך בכל עובדי ידך:
ary thkhtswd khtsdk bkhqlk wthnshy emra bkhqla la ththwb lmsbyh lgywra lythma wlarmla yhy bdyl dybrknk yy alhk bkl ewbdy ydk
When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to get it. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

ארי תחבוט זיתך לא תפלי בתרך לגיורא ליתמא ולארמלא יהי:
ary thkhbwT zythk la thply bthrk lgywra lythma wlarmla yhy
When you beat your olive tree, you shall not go over the boughs again. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

ארי תקטוף כרמך לא תעלל בתרך לגיורא ליתמא ולארמלא יהי:
ary thqTwp krmk la thell bthrk lgywra lythma wlarmla yhy
When you harvest your vineyard, you shall not glean it after yourselves. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

ותדכר ארי עבדא הויתא בארעא דמצרים על כן אנא מפקדך למעבד ית פתגמא הדין:
wthdkr ary ebda hwytha barea dmtsrym el kn ana mpqdk lmebd yth pthgma hdyn
You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt. Therefore I command you to do this thing.
