ארי יסב גבר אתתא ויבעלנה ויהי אם לא תשכח רחמין בעינוהי ארי אשכח בה עברת פתגם ויכתוב לה גט פטורין ויהב בידה ויפטרנה מביתיה:
mbythyh wypTrnh bydh wyhb pTwryn gT lh wykthwb pthgm ebrth bh ashkkh ary beynwhy rkhmyn thshkkh la am wyhy wybelnh aththa gbr ysb ary
When a man takes a wife and marries her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a certificate of divorce, put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

ותפוק מביתיה ותהך ותהי לגבר אחרן:
akhrn lgbr wthhy wthhk mbythyh wthpwq
When she has departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

ויסננה גברא בתראה ויכתוב לה גט פטורין ויתן בידה ויפטרנה מביתיה או ארי ימות גברא בתראה דנסבה ליה לאנתו:
lanthw lyh dnsbh bthrah gbra ymwth ary aw mbythyh wypTrnh bydh wythn pTwryn gT lh wykthwb bthrah gbra wysnnh
If the latter husband hates her, and writes her a certificate of divorce, puts it in her hand, and sends her out of his house; or if the latter husband dies, who took her to be his wife;

לית ליה רשו לבעלה קדמאה די פטרה למתב למסבה למהוי ליה לאנתו בתר די אסתאבת ארי מרחקא היא קדם יי ולא תחיב ית ארעא די יי אלהך יהב לך אחסנא:
akhsna lk yhb alhk yy dy area yth thkhyb wla yy qdm hya mrkhqa ary asthabth dy bthr lanthw lyh lmhwy lmsbh lmthb pTrh dy qdmah lbelh rshw lyh lyth
her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife after she is defiled; for that would be an abomination to Yahweh. You shall not cause the land to sin, which Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance.

ארי יסב גבר אתתא חדתא לא יפוק בחילא ולא יעבר עלוהי לכל מדעם פני יהי לביתיה שתא חדא ויחדי ית אתתיה די נסב:
nsb dy aththyh yth wykhdy khda shtha lbythyh yhy pny mdem lkl elwhy yebr wla bkhyla ypwq la khdtha aththa gbr ysb ary
When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, neither shall he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

לא יסב משכונא רחיא ורכבא ארי בהון מתעבד מזון לכל נפש:
npsh lkl mzwn mthebd bhwn ary wrkba rkhya mshkwna ysb la
No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone as a pledge, for he takes a life in pledge.

ארי ישתכח גבר גנב נפשא מאחוהי מבני ישראל ויתגר ביה ויזבנניה ויתקטל גנבא ההוא ותפלי עבד דביש מבינך:
mbynk dbysh ebd wthply hhwa gnba wythqTl wyzbnnyh byh wythgr yshral mbny makhwhy npsha gnb gbr yshthkkh ary
If a man is found stealing any of his brothers of the children of Israel, and he deals with him as a slave, or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

אסתמר במכתש סגירו למטר לחדא ולמעבד ככל די ילפון יתכון כהניא לואי כמא די פקדתנון תטרון למעבד:
lmebd thTrwn pqdthnwn dy kma lway khnya ythkwn ylpwn dy kkl wlmebd lkhda lmTr sgyrw bmkthsh asthmr
Be careful in the plague of leprosy, that you observe diligently and do according to all that the Levitical priests teach you. As I commanded them, so you shall observe to do.

הוי דכיר ית די עבד יי אלהך למרים בארחא במפקכון ממצרים:
mmtsrym bmpqkwn barkha lmrym alhk yy ebd dy yth dkyr hwy
Remember what Yahweh your God did to Miriam, by the way as you came out of Egypt.

ארי תרשי בחברך רשו מדעם לא תעול לביתיה למסב משכוניה:
mshkwnyh lmsb lbythyh thewl la mdem rshw bkhbrk thrshy ary
When you lend your neighbor any kind of loan, you shall not go into his house to get his pledge.

בברא תקום וגברא די את רשי ביה יפק לותך ית משכונא לברא:
lbra mshkwna yth lwthk ypq byh rshy ath dy wgbra thqwm bbra
You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you lend shall bring the pledge outside to you.

ואם גבר מסכן הוא לא תשכוב במשכוניה:
bmshkwnyh thshkwb la hwa mskn gbr wam
If he is a poor man, you shall not sleep with his pledge.
13
אתבא תתב ליה ית משכונא כמעל שמשא וישכוב בכסותיה ויברכנך ולך תהי זכותא קדם יי אלהך:
alhk yy qdm zkwtha thhy wlk wybrknk bkswthyh wyshkwb shmsha kmel mshkwna yth lyh ththb athba
You shall surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goes down, that he may sleep in his garment and bless you. It shall be righteousness to you before Yahweh your God.

לא תעשוק אגירא עניא ומסכנא מאחיך או מגיורך די בארעך בקרויך:
bqrwyk barek dy mgywrk aw makhyk wmskna enya agyra theshwq la
You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the foreigners who are in your land within your gates.

ביומיה תתן אגריה ולא תעול עלוהי שמשא ארי עניא הוא וליה הוא מסר ית נפשיה ולא יקרי עלך קדם יי ויהי בך חובא:
khwba bk wyhy yy qdm elk yqry wla npshyh yth msr hwa wlyh hwa enya ary shmsha elwhy thewl wla agryh ththn bywmyh
In his day you shall give him his wages, neither shall the sun go down on it, for he is poor and sets his heart on it, lest he cry against you to Yahweh, and it be sin to you.
16
לא ימותון אבהן על פום בנין ובנין לא ימותון על פום אבהן אנש בחוביה ימותון:
ymwthwn bkhwbyh ansh abhn pwm el ymwthwn la wbnyn bnyn pwm el abhn ymwthwn la
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers. Every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

לא תצלי דין גיורא ויתמא ולא תסב משכונא לבוש ארמלא:
armla lbwsh mshkwna thsb wla wythma gywra dyn thtsly la
You shall not deprive the foreigner or the fatherless of justice, nor take a widow’s clothing in pledge;
18
ותדכר ארי עבדא הויתא במצרים ופרקך יי אלהך מתמן על כן אנא מפקדך למעבד ית פתגמא הדין:
hdyn pthgma yth lmebd mpqdk ana kn el mthmn alhk yy wprqk bmtsrym hwytha ebda ary wthdkr
but you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and Yahweh your God redeemed you there. Therefore I command you to do this thing.

ארי תחצוד חצדך בחקלך ותנשי עמרא בחקלא לא תתוב למסביה לגיורא ליתמא ולארמלא יהי בדיל דיברכנך יי אלהך בכל עובדי ידך:
ydk ewbdy bkl alhk yy dybrknk bdyl yhy wlarmla lythma lgywra lmsbyh ththwb la bkhqla emra wthnshy bkhqlk khtsdk thkhtswd ary
When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to get it. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

ארי תחבוט זיתך לא תפלי בתרך לגיורא ליתמא ולארמלא יהי:
yhy wlarmla lythma lgywra bthrk thply la zythk thkhbwT ary
When you beat your olive tree, you shall not go over the boughs again. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

ארי תקטוף כרמך לא תעלל בתרך לגיורא ליתמא ולארמלא יהי:
yhy wlarmla lythma lgywra bthrk thell la krmk thqTwp ary
When you harvest your vineyard, you shall not glean it after yourselves. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
