לא יהי לכהניא לואי כל שבטא דלוי חלק ואחסנא עם ישראל קרבניא דיי ואחסנתיה ייכלון:
la yhy lkhnya lway kl shbTa dlwy khlq wakhsna em yshral qrbnya dyy wakhsnthyh yyklwn
The priests and the Levites—all the tribe of Levi—shall have no portion nor inheritance with Israel. They shall eat the offerings of Yahweh made by fire and his portion.

ואחסנא לא יהי ליה בגו אחוהי מתנן דיהב ליה יי אנון אחסנתיה כמא די מליל ליה:
wakhsna la yhy lyh bgw akhwhy mthnn dyhb lyh yy anwn akhsnthyh kma dy mlyl lyh
They shall have no inheritance among their brothers. Yahweh is their inheritance, as he has spoken to them.

ודין יהי דחזי לכהניא מן עמא מן נכסי נכסתא אם תור אם אמר ויתן לכהנא דרועא ולועא וקבתא:
wdyn yhy dkhzy lkhnya mn ema mn nksy nkstha am thwr am amr wythn lkhna drwea wlwea wqbtha
This shall be the priests’ due from the people, from those who offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep, that they shall give to the priest: the shoulder, the two cheeks, and the inner parts.

ריש עבורך חמרך ומשחך וריש גזא דענך תתן ליה:
rysh ebwrk khmrk wmshkhk wrysh gza denk ththn lyh
You shall give him the first fruits of your grain, of your new wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep.

ארי ביה יתרעי יי אלהך מכל שבטיך למקם לשמשא בשמא דיי הוא ובנוהי כל יומיא:
ary byh ythrey yy alhk mkl shbTyk lmqm lshmsha bshma dyy hwa wbnwhy kl ywmya
For Yahweh your God has chosen him out of all your tribes to stand to minister in Yahweh’s name, him and his sons forever.

וארי ייתי לואה מחדא מקרויך מכל ישראל די הוא דר תמן וייתי בכל רעות נפשיה לאתרא די יתרעי יי:
wary yythy lwah mkhda mqrwyk mkl yshral dy hwa dr thmn wyythy bkl rewth npshyh lathra dy ythrey yy
If a Levite comes from any of your gates out of all Israel where he lives, and comes with all the desire of his soul to the place which Yahweh shall choose,

וישמש בשמא דיי אלהיה ככל אחוהי לואי דמשמשין תמן קדם יי:
wyshmsh bshma dyy alhyh kkl akhwhy lway dmshmshyn thmn qdm yy
then he shall minister in the name of Yahweh his God, as all his brothers the Levites do, who stand there before Yahweh.

חלק כחלק ייכלון בר ממטרתא דייתי בשבתא דכן אתקינו אבהתא:
khlq kkhlq yyklwn br mmTrtha dyythy bshbtha dkn athqynw abhtha
They shall have like portions to eat, in addition to that which comes from the sale of his family possessions.

ארי את עלל לארעא דיי אלהך יהב לך לא תילף למעבד כטעות עממיא האנון:
ary ath ell larea dyy alhk yhb lk la thylp lmebd kTewth emmya hanwn
When you have come into the land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the abominations of those nations.

לא ישתכח בך מעבר בריה וברתיה בנורא קסם קסמין מענן ומנחש וחרש:
la yshthkkh bk mebr bryh wbrthyh bnwra qsm qsmyn menn wmnkhsh wkhrsh
There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who tells fortunes, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer,

ורטין רטן ושאל בדין וזכורו ותבע מן מתיא:
wrTyn rTn wshal bdyn wzkwrw wthbe mn mthya
or a charmer, or someone who consults with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

ארי מרחק יי כל דיעבד אלין ובדיל תועבתא האלין יי אלהך מתרך יתהון מקדמך:
ary mrkhq yy kl dyebd alyn wbdyl thwebtha halyn yy alhk mthrk ythhwn mqdmk
For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you.

שלים תהי בדחלתא דיי אלהך:
shlym thhy bdkhltha dyy alhk
You shall be blameless with Yahweh your God.
14
ארי עממיא האלין די את ירת יתהון מן מענניא ומן קסמיא שמעין ואת לא כן יהב לך יי אלהך:
ary emmya halyn dy ath yrth ythhwn mn mennya wmn qsmya shmeyn wath la kn yhb lk yy alhk
For these nations that you shall dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery and to diviners; but as for you, Yahweh your God has not allowed you so to do.

נביא מבינך מאחיך כותי יקים לך יי אלהך מניה תקבלון:
nbya mbynk makhyk kwthy yqym lk yy alhk mnyh thqblwn
Yahweh your God will raise up to you a prophet from among you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.

ככל די שאלתא מקדם יי אלהך בחרב ביומא דקהלא למימר לא אוסף למשמע ית קל מימרא דיי אלהי וית אשתא רבתא הדא לא אחזי עוד ולא אמות:
kkl dy shaltha mqdm yy alhk bkhrb bywma dqhla lmymr la awsp lmshme yth ql mymra dyy alhy wyth ashtha rbtha hda la akhzy ewd wla amwth
This is according to all that you desired of Yahweh your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, “Let me not hear again Yahweh my God’s voice, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die.”

ואמר יי לי אוטיבו די מלילו:
wamr yy ly awTybw dy mlylw
Yahweh said to me, “They have well said that which they have spoken.
18
נביא אקים להון מגו אחיהון כותך ואתן פתגמי נבואתי בפומיה וימלל עמהון ית כל די אפקדניה:
nbya aqym lhwn mgw akhyhwn kwthk wathn pthgmy nbwathy bpwmyh wymll emhwn yth kl dy apqdnyh
I will raise them up a prophet from among their brothers, like you. I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.

ויהי גברא די לא יקבל לפתגמי די ימלל בשמי מימרי יתבע מניה:
wyhy gbra dy la yqbl lpthgmy dy ymll bshmy mymry ythbe mnyh
It shall happen, that whoever will not listen to my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

ברם נביא די ירשע למללא פתגמא בשמי ית די לא פקדתיה למללא ודי ימלל בשום טעות עממיא ויתקטל נביא ההוא:
brm nbya dy yrshe lmlla pthgma bshmy yth dy la pqdthyh lmlla wdy ymll bshwm Tewth emmya wythqTl nbya hhwa
But the prophet who speaks a word presumptuously in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.”

וארי תימר בלבך אכדין נדע ית פתגמא די לא מלליה יי:
wary thymr blbk akdyn nde yth pthgma dy la mllyh yy
You may say in your heart, “How shall we know the word which Yahweh has not spoken?”
22
די ימלל נביא בשמא דיי ולא יהי פתגמא ולא יתקים הוא פתגמא די לא מלליה יי ברשע מלליה נביא לא תדחל מניה:
dy ymll nbya bshma dyy wla yhy pthgma wla ythqym hwa pthgma dy la mllyh yy brshe mllyh nbya la thdkhl mnyh
When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.
