לא תכוס קדם יי אלהך תור ואמר די יהי ביה מומא כל מדעם ביש ארי מרחק קדם יי אלהך הוא:
la thkws qdm yy alhk thwr wamr dy yhy byh mwma kl mdem bysh ary mrkhq qdm yy alhk hwa
You shall not sacrifice to Yahweh your God an ox or a sheep in which is a defect or anything evil; for that is an abomination to Yahweh your God.

ארי ישתכח בינך בחדא מקרויך דיי אלהך יהב לך גבר או אתתא די יעבד ית דביש קדם יי אלהך למעבר על קימיה:
ary yshthkkh bynk bkhda mqrwyk dyy alhk yhb lk gbr aw aththa dy yebd yth dbysh qdm yy alhk lmebr el qymyh
If there is found among you, within any of your gates which Yahweh your God gives you, a man or woman who does that which is evil in Yahweh your God’s sight in transgressing his covenant,

ואזל ופלח לטעות עממיא וסגיד להון ולשמשא או לסיהרא או לכל חילי שמיא די לא פקדית:
wazl wplkh lTewth emmya wsgyd lhwn wlshmsha aw lsyhra aw lkl khyly shmya dy la pqdyth
and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun, or the moon, or any of the stars of the sky, which I have not commanded,

ויחוון לך ותשמע ותתבע יאות והא קשטא כון פתגמא אתעבידת תועבתא הדא בישראל:
wykhwwn lk wthshme wththbe yawth wha qshTa kwn pthgma athebydth thwebtha hda byshral
and you are told, and you have heard of it, then you shall inquire diligently. Behold, if it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is done in Israel,

ותפק ית גברא ההוא או ית אתתא ההיא די עבדו ית פתגמא בישא הדין לתרע בית דינך ית גברא או ית אתתא ותרגמנון באבניא וימותון:
wthpq yth gbra hhwa aw yth aththa hhya dy ebdw yth pthgma bysha hdyn lthre byth dynk yth gbra aw yth aththa wthrgmnwn babnya wymwthwn
then you shall bring out that man or that woman who has done this evil thing to your gates, even that same man or woman; and you shall stone them to death with stones.

על מימר תרין סהדין או תלתא סהדין יתקטל דחיב קטול לא יתקטל על מימר סהיד חד:
el mymr thryn shdyn aw thltha shdyn ythqTl dkhyb qTwl la ythqTl el mymr shyd khd
At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death. At the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

ידא דסהדיא תהי ביה בקדמיתא למקטליה וידא דכל עמא בבתריתא ותפלי עבד דביש מבינך:
yda dshdya thhy byh bqdmytha lmqTlyh wyda dkl ema bbthrytha wthply ebd dbysh mbynk
The hands of the witnesses shall be first on him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

ארי יתכסי מנך פתגמא לדינא בין דמא לדמא בין דינא לדינא ובין מכתש סגירו למכתש סגירו פתגמי פלגתא דינא בקרויך ותקום ותסק לאתרא די יתרעי יי אלהך ביה:
ary ythksy mnk pthgma ldyna byn dma ldma byn dyna ldyna wbyn mkthsh sgyrw lmkthsh sgyrw pthgmy plgtha dyna bqrwyk wthqwm wthsq lathra dy ythrey yy alhk byh
If there arises a matter too hard for you in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within your gates, then you shall arise, and go up to the place which Yahweh your God chooses.

ותיתי לות כהניא לואי ולות דינא די יהי ביומיא האנון ותתבע ויחוון לך ית פתגמא דדינא:
wthythy lwth khnya lway wlwth dyna dy yhy bywmya hanwn wththbe wykhwwn lk yth pthgma ddyna
You shall come to the priests who are Levites and to the judge who shall be in those days. You shall inquire, and they shall give you the verdict.

ותעבד על מימר פתגמא די יחוון לך מן אתרא ההוא די יתרעי יי ותטר למעבד ככל די ילפנך:
wthebd el mymr pthgma dy ykhwwn lk mn athra hhwa dy ythrey yy wthTr lmebd kkl dy ylpnk
You shall do according to the decisions of the verdict which they shall give you from that place which Yahweh chooses. You shall observe to do according to all that they shall teach you.

על מימר אוריתא די ילפנך ועל דינא די יימרון לך תעבד לא תסטי מן פתגמא די יחוון לך ימינא ושמאלא:
el mymr awrytha dy ylpnk wel dyna dy yymrwn lk thebd la thsTy mn pthgma dy ykhwwn lk ymyna wshmala
According to the decisions of the law which they shall teach you, and according to the judgment which they shall tell you, you shall do. You shall not turn away from the sentence which they announce to you, to the right hand, nor to the left.

וגבר די יעבד ברשע בדיל דלא לקבלא מן כהנא דקאם לשמשא תמן קדם יי אלהך או מן דינא ויתקטל גברא ההוא ותפלי עבד דביש מישראל:
wgbr dy yebd brshe bdyl dla lqbla mn khna dqam lshmsha thmn qdm yy alhk aw mn dyna wythqTl gbra hhwa wthply ebd dbysh myshral
The man who does presumptuously in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before Yahweh your God, or to the judge, even that man shall die. You shall put away the evil from Israel.

וכל עמא ישמעון וידחלון ולא ירשיעון עוד:
wkl ema yshmewn wydkhlwn wla yrshyewn ewd
All the people shall hear and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
14
ארי תעול לארעא דיי אלהך יהב לך ותירתה ותיתב בה ותימר אמני עלי מלכא ככל עממיא די בסחרני:
ary thewl larea dyy alhk yhb lk wthyrthh wthythb bh wthymr amny ely mlka kkl emmya dy bskhrny
When you have come to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, and possess it and dwell in it, and say, “I will set a king over me, like all the nations that are around me,”

מנאה תמני עלך מלכא די יתרעי יי אלהך ביה מגו אחיך תמני עלך מלכא לית לך רשו למנאה עלך גבר נוכרי די לא אחוך הוא:
mnah thmny elk mlka dy ythrey yy alhk byh mgw akhyk thmny elk mlka lyth lk rshw lmnah elk gbr nwkry dy la akhwk hwa
you shall surely set him whom Yahweh your God chooses as king over yourselves. You shall set as king over you one from among your brothers. You may not put a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.

לחוד לא יסגי ליה סוסון ולא יתב ית עמא למצרים בדיל לאסגאה ליה סוסון ויי אמר לכון לא תוספון למתוב בארח הדא עוד:
lkhwd la ysgy lyh swswn wla ythb yth ema lmtsrym bdyl lasgah lyh swswn wyy amr lkwn la thwspwn lmthwb barkh hda ewd
Only he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he may multiply horses; because Yahweh has said to you, “You shall not go back that way again.”

ולא יסגי ליה נשין ולא יטעי לביה וכספא ודהבא לא יסגי ליה לחדא:
wla ysgy lyh nshyn wla yTey lbyh wkspa wdhba la ysgy lyh lkhda
He shall not multiply wives to himself, that his heart not turn away. He shall not greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

ויהי כמתביה על כרסא מלכותיה ויכתוב ליה ית פתשגן אוריתא הדא על ספרא מן קדם כהניא לואי:
wyhy kmthbyh el krsa mlkwthyh wykthwb lyh yth pthshgn awrytha hda el spra mn qdm khnya lway
It shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write himself a copy of this law in a book, out of that which is before the Levitical priests.

ותהי עמיה ויהי קרי ביה כל יומי חיוהי בדיל דילף למדחל קדם יי אלהיה למטר ית כל פתגמי אוריתא הדא וית קימיא האלין למעבדהון:
wthhy emyh wyhy qry byh kl ywmy khywhy bdyl dylp lmdkhl qdm yy alhyh lmTr yth kl pthgmy awrytha hda wyth qymya halyn lmebdhwn
It shall be with him, and he shall read from it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear Yahweh his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them;

בדיל דלא ירים לביה מאחוהי ובדיל דלא יסטי מן תפקדתא ימינא ושמאלא בדיל דיורך יומין על מלכותיה הוא ובנוהי בגו ישראל:
bdyl dla yrym lbyh makhwhy wbdyl dla ysTy mn thpqdtha ymyna wshmala bdyl dywrk ywmyn el mlkwthyh hwa wbnwhy bgw yshral
that his heart not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he not turn away from the commandment to the right hand, or to the left, to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children, in the middle of Israel.
