1
לא תכוס קדם יי אלהך תור ואמר די יהי ביה מומא כל מדעם ביש ארי מרחק קדם יי אלהך הוא:
hwa alhk yy qdm mrkhq ary bysh mdem kl mwma byh yhy dy wamr thwr alhk yy qdm thkws la
You shall not sacrifice to Yahweh your God an ox or a sheep in which is a defect or anything evil; for that is an abomination to Yahweh your God.

ארי ישתכח בינך בחדא מקרויך דיי אלהך יהב לך גבר או אתתא די יעבד ית דביש קדם יי אלהך למעבר על קימיה:
qymyh el lmebr alhk yy qdm dbysh yth yebd dy aththa aw gbr lk yhb alhk dyy mqrwyk bkhda bynk yshthkkh ary
If there is found among you, within any of your gates which Yahweh your God gives you, a man or woman who does that which is evil in Yahweh your God’s sight in transgressing his covenant,

ואזל ופלח לטעות עממיא וסגיד להון ולשמשא או לסיהרא או לכל חילי שמיא די לא פקדית:
pqdyth la dy shmya khyly lkl aw lsyhra aw wlshmsha lhwn wsgyd emmya lTewth wplkh wazl
and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun, or the moon, or any of the stars of the sky, which I have not commanded,

ויחוון לך ותשמע ותתבע יאות והא קשטא כון פתגמא אתעבידת תועבתא הדא בישראל:
byshral hda thwebtha athebydth pthgma kwn qshTa wha yawth wththbe wthshme lk wykhwwn
and you are told, and you have heard of it, then you shall inquire diligently. Behold, if it is true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is done in Israel,

ותפק ית גברא ההוא או ית אתתא ההיא די עבדו ית פתגמא בישא הדין לתרע בית דינך ית גברא או ית אתתא ותרגמנון באבניא וימותון:
wymwthwn babnya wthrgmnwn aththa yth aw gbra yth dynk byth lthre hdyn bysha pthgma yth ebdw dy hhya aththa yth aw hhwa gbra yth wthpq
then you shall bring out that man or that woman who has done this evil thing to your gates, even that same man or woman; and you shall stone them to death with stones.

על מימר תרין סהדין או תלתא סהדין יתקטל דחיב קטול לא יתקטל על מימר סהיד חד:
khd shyd mymr el ythqTl la qTwl dkhyb ythqTl shdyn thltha aw shdyn thryn mymr el
At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, he who is to die shall be put to death. At the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

ידא דסהדיא תהי ביה בקדמיתא למקטליה וידא דכל עמא בבתריתא ותפלי עבד דביש מבינך:
mbynk dbysh ebd wthply bbthrytha ema dkl wyda lmqTlyh bqdmytha byh thhy dshdya yda
The hands of the witnesses shall be first on him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

ארי יתכסי מנך פתגמא לדינא בין דמא לדמא בין דינא לדינא ובין מכתש סגירו למכתש סגירו פתגמי פלגתא דינא בקרויך ותקום ותסק לאתרא די יתרעי יי אלהך ביה:
byh alhk yy ythrey dy lathra wthsq wthqwm bqrwyk dyna plgtha pthgmy sgyrw lmkthsh sgyrw mkthsh wbyn ldyna dyna byn ldma dma byn ldyna pthgma mnk ythksy ary
If there arises a matter too hard for you in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within your gates, then you shall arise, and go up to the place which Yahweh your God chooses.

ותיתי לות כהניא לואי ולות דינא די יהי ביומיא האנון ותתבע ויחוון לך ית פתגמא דדינא:
ddyna pthgma yth lk wykhwwn wththbe hanwn bywmya yhy dy dyna wlwth lway khnya lwth wthythy
You shall come to the priests who are Levites and to the judge who shall be in those days. You shall inquire, and they shall give you the verdict.

ותעבד על מימר פתגמא די יחוון לך מן אתרא ההוא די יתרעי יי ותטר למעבד ככל די ילפנך:
ylpnk dy kkl lmebd wthTr yy ythrey dy hhwa athra mn lk ykhwwn dy pthgma mymr el wthebd
You shall do according to the decisions of the verdict which they shall give you from that place which Yahweh chooses. You shall observe to do according to all that they shall teach you.

על מימר אוריתא די ילפנך ועל דינא די יימרון לך תעבד לא תסטי מן פתגמא די יחוון לך ימינא ושמאלא:
wshmala ymyna lk ykhwwn dy pthgma mn thsTy la thebd lk yymrwn dy dyna wel ylpnk dy awrytha mymr el
According to the decisions of the law which they shall teach you, and according to the judgment which they shall tell you, you shall do. You shall not turn away from the sentence which they announce to you, to the right hand, nor to the left.

וגבר די יעבד ברשע בדיל דלא לקבלא מן כהנא דקאם לשמשא תמן קדם יי אלהך או מן דינא ויתקטל גברא ההוא ותפלי עבד דביש מישראל:
myshral dbysh ebd wthply hhwa gbra wythqTl dyna mn aw alhk yy qdm thmn lshmsha dqam khna mn lqbla dla bdyl brshe yebd dy wgbr
The man who does presumptuously in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before Yahweh your God, or to the judge, even that man shall die. You shall put away the evil from Israel.
13
וכל עמא ישמעון וידחלון ולא ירשיעון עוד:
ewd yrshyewn wla wydkhlwn yshmewn ema wkl
All the people shall hear and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
14
ארי תעול לארעא דיי אלהך יהב לך ותירתה ותיתב בה ותימר אמני עלי מלכא ככל עממיא די בסחרני:
bskhrny dy emmya kkl mlka ely amny wthymr bh wthythb wthyrthh lk yhb alhk dyy larea thewl ary
When you have come to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, and possess it and dwell in it, and say, “I will set a king over me, like all the nations that are around me,”

מנאה תמני עלך מלכא די יתרעי יי אלהך ביה מגו אחיך תמני עלך מלכא לית לך רשו למנאה עלך גבר נוכרי די לא אחוך הוא:
hwa akhwk la dy nwkry gbr elk lmnah rshw lk lyth mlka elk thmny akhyk mgw byh alhk yy ythrey dy mlka elk thmny mnah
you shall surely set him whom Yahweh your God chooses as king over yourselves. You shall set as king over you one from among your brothers. You may not put a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.

לחוד לא יסגי ליה סוסון ולא יתב ית עמא למצרים בדיל לאסגאה ליה סוסון ויי אמר לכון לא תוספון למתוב בארח הדא עוד:
ewd hda barkh lmthwb thwspwn la lkwn amr wyy swswn lyh lasgah bdyl lmtsrym ema yth ythb wla swswn lyh ysgy la lkhwd
Only he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he may multiply horses; because Yahweh has said to you, “You shall not go back that way again.”

ולא יסגי ליה נשין ולא יטעי לביה וכספא ודהבא לא יסגי ליה לחדא:
lkhda lyh ysgy la wdhba wkspa lbyh yTey wla nshyn lyh ysgy wla
He shall not multiply wives to himself, that his heart not turn away. He shall not greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

ויהי כמתביה על כרסא מלכותיה ויכתוב ליה ית פתשגן אוריתא הדא על ספרא מן קדם כהניא לואי:
lway khnya qdm mn spra el hda awrytha pthshgn yth lyh wykthwb mlkwthyh krsa el kmthbyh wyhy
It shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write himself a copy of this law in a book, out of that which is before the Levitical priests.

ותהי עמיה ויהי קרי ביה כל יומי חיוהי בדיל דילף למדחל קדם יי אלהיה למטר ית כל פתגמי אוריתא הדא וית קימיא האלין למעבדהון:
lmebdhwn halyn qymya wyth hda awrytha pthgmy kl yth lmTr alhyh yy qdm lmdkhl dylp bdyl khywhy ywmy kl byh qry wyhy emyh wthhy
It shall be with him, and he shall read from it all the days of his life, that he may learn to fear Yahweh his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them;

בדיל דלא ירים לביה מאחוהי ובדיל דלא יסטי מן תפקדתא ימינא ושמאלא בדיל דיורך יומין על מלכותיה הוא ובנוהי בגו ישראל:
yshral bgw wbnwhy hwa mlkwthyh el ywmyn dywrk bdyl wshmala ymyna thpqdtha mn ysTy dla wbdyl makhwhy lbyh yrym dla bdyl
that his heart not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he not turn away from the commandment to the right hand, or to the left, to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he and his children, in the middle of Israel.
