בנין אתון קדם יי אלהכון לא תתחממון ולא תשוון מרט בין עיניכון על מית:
bnyn athwn qdm yy alhkwn la ththkhmmwn wla thshwwn mrT byn eynykwn el myth
You are the children of Yahweh your God. You shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

ארי עם קדיש את קדם יי אלהך ובך אתרעי יי למהוי ליה לעם חביב מכל עממיא די על אפי ארעא:
ary em qdysh ath qdm yy alhk wbk athrey yy lmhwy lyh lem khbyb mkl emmya dy el apy area
For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God, and Yahweh has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.

דין בעירא דתיכלון תורין אמרין דרחלין וגדין דעזין:
dyn beyra dthyklwn thwryn amryn drkhlyn wgdyn dezyn
These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,

אילא וטביא ויחמורא ויעלא ורימא ותורבלא ודיצא:
ayla wTbya wykhmwra wyela wryma wthwrbla wdytsa
the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope, and the chamois.

וכל בעירא דסדיקא פרסתא ומטלפא טלפין תרתין פרסתא מסקא פשרא בבעירא יתה תיכלון:
wkl beyra dsdyqa prstha wmTlpa Tlpyn thrthyn prstha msqa pshra bbeyra ythh thyklwn
Every animal that parts the hoof, and has the hoof split in two and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat.

ברם ית דין לא תיכלון ממסקי פשרא וממסדיקי פרסתא מטלפי טלפיא ית גמלא וית ארנבא וית טפזא ארי מסקי פשרא אנון ופרסתהון לא סדיקא מסאבין אנון לכון:
brm yth dyn la thyklwn mmsqy pshra wmmsdyqy prstha mTlpy Tlpya yth gmla wyth arnba wyth Tpza ary msqy pshra anwn wprsthhwn la sdyqa msabyn anwn lkwn
Nevertheless these you shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of those who have the hoof split: the camel, the hare, and the rabbit. Because they chew the cud but don’t part the hoof, they are unclean to you.

וית חזירא ארי מסדיק פרסתא הוא ולא פשר מסאב הוא לכון מבסרהון לא תיכלון ובנבלתהון לא תקרבון:
wyth khzyra ary msdyq prstha hwa wla pshr msab hwa lkwn mbsrhwn la thyklwn wbnblthhwn la thqrbwn
The pig, because it has a split hoof but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses.

ית דין תיכלון מכל די במיא כל די ליה ציצין וקלפין תיכלון:
yth dyn thyklwn mkl dy bmya kl dy lyh tsytsyn wqlpyn thyklwn
These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat whatever has fins and scales.

וכל די לית ליה ציצין וקלפין לא תיכלון מסאב הוא לכון:
wkl dy lyth lyh tsytsyn wqlpyn la thyklwn msab hwa lkwn
You shall not eat whatever doesn’t have fins and scales. It is unclean to you.

ודין די לא תיכלון מנהון נשרא וער ועזיא:
wdyn dy la thyklwn mnhwn nshra wer wezya
But these are they of which you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the osprey,

ובת כנפא וטרפיתא ודיתא לזנה:
wbth knpa wTrpytha wdytha lznh
the red kite, the falcon, the kite of any kind,

וית בת נעמיתא וציצא וצפר שחפא ונצא לזנוהי:
wyth bth nemytha wtsytsa wtspr shkhpa wntsa lznwhy
the ostrich, the owl, the seagull, the hawk of any kind,
16
וקדיא וקפופא ובותא:
wqdya wqpwpa wbwtha
the little owl, the great owl, the horned owl,
17
וקתא וירקרקא ושלי נונא:
wqtha wyrqrqa wshly nwna
the pelican, the vulture, the cormorant,
18
וחוריתא ואבו לזנה ונגר טורא ועטלפא:
wkhwrytha wabw lznh wngr Twra weTlpa
the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat.
19
וכל רחשא דעופא מסאב הוא לכון לא יתאכלון:
wkl rkhsha dewpa msab hwa lkwn la ythaklwn
All winged creeping things are unclean to you. They shall not be eaten.

לא תיכלון כל נבילא לתותב ערל די בקרויך תתננה וייכלנה או תזבננה לבר עממין ארי עם קדיש את קדם יי אלהך לא תיכול בשר בחלב:
la thyklwn kl nbyla lthwthb erl dy bqrwyk ththnnh wyyklnh aw thzbnnh lbr emmyn ary em qdysh ath qdm yy alhk la thykwl bshr bkhlb
You shall not eat of anything that dies of itself. You may give it to the foreigner living among you who is within your gates, that he may eat it; or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to Yahweh your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

עשרא תעשר ית כל עללת זרעך דיפוק חקלא שתא בשתא:
eshra theshr yth kl ellth zrek dypwq khqla shtha bshtha
You shall surely tithe all the increase of your seed, that which comes out of the field year by year.

ותיכול קדם יי אלהך באתרא די יתרעי לאשראה שכנתיה תמן מעשר עבורך חמרך ומשחך ובכורי תורך וענך בדיל דתילף למדחל קדם יי אלהך כל יומיא:
wthykwl qdm yy alhk bathra dy ythrey lashrah shknthyh thmn meshr ebwrk khmrk wmshkhk wbkwry thwrk wenk bdyl dthylp lmdkhl qdm yy alhk kl ywmya
You shall eat before Yahweh your God, in the place which he chooses to cause his name to dwell, the tithe of your grain, of your new wine, and of your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Yahweh your God always.

וארי יסגי מנך ארחא ארי לא תכול למטליה ארי יתרחק מנך אתרא די יתרעי יי אלהך לאשראה שכנתיה תמן ארי יברכנך יי אלהך:
wary ysgy mnk arkha ary la thkwl lmTlyh ary ythrkhq mnk athra dy ythrey yy alhk lashrah shknthyh thmn ary ybrknk yy alhk
If the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry it because the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to set his name there is too far from you, when Yahweh your God blesses you,

ותתן בכספא ותצור כספא בידך ותהך לאתרא די יתרעי יי אלהך ביה:
wththn bkspa wthtswr kspa bydk wthhk lathra dy ythrey yy alhk byh
then you shall turn it into money, bind up the money in your hand, and shall go to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose.

ותתן כספא בכל די יתרעי נפשך בתורי ובענא ובחמר חדת ועתיק ובכל די תשאלנך נפשך ותיכול תמן קדם יי אלהך ותחדי את ואנש ביתך:
wththn kspa bkl dy ythrey npshk bthwry wbena wbkhmr khdth wethyq wbkl dy thshalnk npshk wthykwl thmn qdm yy alhk wthkhdy ath wansh bythk
You shall trade the money for whatever your soul desires: for cattle, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatever your soul asks of you. You shall eat there before Yahweh your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household.

ולואה די בקרויך לא תשבקניה ארי לית ליה חלק ואחסנא עמך:
wlwah dy bqrwyk la thshbqnyh ary lyth lyh khlq wakhsna emk
You shall not forsake the Levite who is within your gates, for he has no portion nor inheritance with you.
28
מסוף תלת שנין תפק ית כל מעשר עללתך בשתא ההיא ותצנע בקרויך:
mswp thlth shnyn thpq yth kl meshr ellthk bshtha hhya wthtsne bqrwyk
At the end of every three years you shall bring all the tithe of your increase in the same year, and shall store it within your gates.

וייתי לואה ארי לית ליה חלק ואחסנא עמך וגיורא ויתמא וארמלא די בקרויך וייכלון וישבעון בדיל די יברכנך יי אלהך בכל עובדי ידך די תעבד:
wyythy lwah ary lyth lyh khlq wakhsna emk wgywra wythma warmla dy bqrwyk wyyklwn wyshbewn bdyl dy ybrknk yy alhk bkl ewbdy ydk dy thebd
The Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, as well as the foreigner living among you, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
