בנין אתון קדם יי אלהכון לא תתחממון ולא תשוון מרט בין עיניכון על מית:
myth el eynykwn byn mrT thshwwn wla ththkhmmwn la alhkwn yy qdm athwn bnyn
You are the children of Yahweh your God. You shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

ארי עם קדיש את קדם יי אלהך ובך אתרעי יי למהוי ליה לעם חביב מכל עממיא די על אפי ארעא:
area apy el dy emmya mkl khbyb lem lyh lmhwy yy athrey wbk alhk yy qdm ath qdysh em ary
For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God, and Yahweh has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.

דין בעירא דתיכלון תורין אמרין דרחלין וגדין דעזין:
dezyn wgdyn drkhlyn amryn thwryn dthyklwn beyra dyn
These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,

אילא וטביא ויחמורא ויעלא ורימא ותורבלא ודיצא:
wdytsa wthwrbla wryma wyela wykhmwra wTbya ayla
the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope, and the chamois.

וכל בעירא דסדיקא פרסתא ומטלפא טלפין תרתין פרסתא מסקא פשרא בבעירא יתה תיכלון:
thyklwn ythh bbeyra pshra msqa prstha thrthyn Tlpyn wmTlpa prstha dsdyqa beyra wkl
Every animal that parts the hoof, and has the hoof split in two and chews the cud, among the animals, you may eat.

ברם ית דין לא תיכלון ממסקי פשרא וממסדיקי פרסתא מטלפי טלפיא ית גמלא וית ארנבא וית טפזא ארי מסקי פשרא אנון ופרסתהון לא סדיקא מסאבין אנון לכון:
lkwn anwn msabyn sdyqa la wprsthhwn anwn pshra msqy ary Tpza wyth arnba wyth gmla yth Tlpya mTlpy prstha wmmsdyqy pshra mmsqy thyklwn la dyn yth brm
Nevertheless these you shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of those who have the hoof split: the camel, the hare, and the rabbit. Because they chew the cud but don’t part the hoof, they are unclean to you.

וית חזירא ארי מסדיק פרסתא הוא ולא פשר מסאב הוא לכון מבסרהון לא תיכלון ובנבלתהון לא תקרבון:
thqrbwn la wbnblthhwn thyklwn la mbsrhwn lkwn hwa msab pshr wla hwa prstha msdyq ary khzyra wyth
The pig, because it has a split hoof but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses.

ית דין תיכלון מכל די במיא כל די ליה ציצין וקלפין תיכלון:
thyklwn wqlpyn tsytsyn lyh dy kl bmya dy mkl thyklwn dyn yth
These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat whatever has fins and scales.

וכל די לית ליה ציצין וקלפין לא תיכלון מסאב הוא לכון:
lkwn hwa msab thyklwn la wqlpyn tsytsyn lyh lyth dy wkl
You shall not eat whatever doesn’t have fins and scales. It is unclean to you.

ודין די לא תיכלון מנהון נשרא וער ועזיא:
wezya wer nshra mnhwn thyklwn la dy wdyn
But these are they of which you shall not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the osprey,

ובת כנפא וטרפיתא ודיתא לזנה:
lznh wdytha wTrpytha knpa wbth
the red kite, the falcon, the kite of any kind,

וית בת נעמיתא וציצא וצפר שחפא ונצא לזנוהי:
lznwhy wntsa shkhpa wtspr wtsytsa nemytha bth wyth
the ostrich, the owl, the seagull, the hawk of any kind,

וחוריתא ואבו לזנה ונגר טורא ועטלפא:
weTlpa Twra wngr lznh wabw wkhwrytha
the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat.
19
וכל רחשא דעופא מסאב הוא לכון לא יתאכלון:
ythaklwn la lkwn hwa msab dewpa rkhsha wkl
All winged creeping things are unclean to you. They shall not be eaten.

לא תיכלון כל נבילא לתותב ערל די בקרויך תתננה וייכלנה או תזבננה לבר עממין ארי עם קדיש את קדם יי אלהך לא תיכול בשר בחלב:
bkhlb bshr thykwl la alhk yy qdm ath qdysh em ary emmyn lbr thzbnnh aw wyyklnh ththnnh bqrwyk dy erl lthwthb nbyla kl thyklwn la
You shall not eat of anything that dies of itself. You may give it to the foreigner living among you who is within your gates, that he may eat it; or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to Yahweh your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

עשרא תעשר ית כל עללת זרעך דיפוק חקלא שתא בשתא:
bshtha shtha khqla dypwq zrek ellth kl yth theshr eshra
You shall surely tithe all the increase of your seed, that which comes out of the field year by year.
23
ותיכול קדם יי אלהך באתרא די יתרעי לאשראה שכנתיה תמן מעשר עבורך חמרך ומשחך ובכורי תורך וענך בדיל דתילף למדחל קדם יי אלהך כל יומיא:
ywmya kl alhk yy qdm lmdkhl dthylp bdyl wenk thwrk wbkwry wmshkhk khmrk ebwrk meshr thmn shknthyh lashrah ythrey dy bathra alhk yy qdm wthykwl
You shall eat before Yahweh your God, in the place which he chooses to cause his name to dwell, the tithe of your grain, of your new wine, and of your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Yahweh your God always.
24
וארי יסגי מנך ארחא ארי לא תכול למטליה ארי יתרחק מנך אתרא די יתרעי יי אלהך לאשראה שכנתיה תמן ארי יברכנך יי אלהך:
alhk yy ybrknk ary thmn shknthyh lashrah alhk yy ythrey dy athra mnk ythrkhq ary lmTlyh thkwl la ary arkha mnk ysgy wary
If the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry it because the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to set his name there is too far from you, when Yahweh your God blesses you,

ותתן בכספא ותצור כספא בידך ותהך לאתרא די יתרעי יי אלהך ביה:
byh alhk yy ythrey dy lathra wthhk bydk kspa wthtswr bkspa wththn
then you shall turn it into money, bind up the money in your hand, and shall go to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose.

ותתן כספא בכל די יתרעי נפשך בתורי ובענא ובחמר חדת ועתיק ובכל די תשאלנך נפשך ותיכול תמן קדם יי אלהך ותחדי את ואנש ביתך:
bythk wansh ath wthkhdy alhk yy qdm thmn wthykwl npshk thshalnk dy wbkl wethyq khdth wbkhmr wbena bthwry npshk ythrey dy bkl kspa wththn
You shall trade the money for whatever your soul desires: for cattle, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatever your soul asks of you. You shall eat there before Yahweh your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household.
27
ולואה די בקרויך לא תשבקניה ארי לית ליה חלק ואחסנא עמך:
emk wakhsna khlq lyh lyth ary thshbqnyh la bqrwyk dy wlwah
You shall not forsake the Levite who is within your gates, for he has no portion nor inheritance with you.
28
מסוף תלת שנין תפק ית כל מעשר עללתך בשתא ההיא ותצנע בקרויך:
bqrwyk wthtsne hhya bshtha ellthk meshr kl yth thpq shnyn thlth mswp
At the end of every three years you shall bring all the tithe of your increase in the same year, and shall store it within your gates.

וייתי לואה ארי לית ליה חלק ואחסנא עמך וגיורא ויתמא וארמלא די בקרויך וייכלון וישבעון בדיל די יברכנך יי אלהך בכל עובדי ידך די תעבד:
thebd dy ydk ewbdy bkl alhk yy ybrknk dy bdyl wyshbewn wyyklwn bqrwyk dy warmla wythma wgywra emk wakhsna khlq lyh lyth ary lwah wyythy
The Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, as well as the foreigner living among you, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
