בעדנא ההיא אמר יי לי פסל לך תרין לוחי אבניא כקדמאי וסק לקדמי לטורא ותעבד לך ארונא דאעא:
daea arwna lk wthebd lTwra lqdmy wsq kqdmay abnya lwkhy thryn lk psl ly yy amr hhya bedna
At that time Yahweh said to me, “Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.

ואכתוב על לוחיא ית פתגמיא די הוו על לוחיא קדמאי די תברתא ותשונון בארונא:
barwna wthshwnwn thbrtha dy qdmay lwkhya el hww dy pthgmya yth lwkhya el wakthwb
I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”

ועבדית ארונא דאעי שטין ופסלית תרין לוחי אבניא כקדמאי וסלקית לטורא ותרין לוחיא בידי:
bydy lwkhya wthryn lTwra wslqyth kqdmay abnya lwkhy thryn wpslyth shTyn daey arwna webdyth
So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.

וכתב על לוחיא ככתבא קדמאה ית עשרא פתגמיא די מליל יי עמכון בטורא מגו אשתא ביומא דקהלא ויהבנון יי לי:
ly yy wyhbnwn dqhla bywma ashtha mgw bTwra emkwn yy mlyl dy pthgmya eshra yth qdmah kkthba lwkhya el wkthb
He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.

ואתפניתי ונחתית מן טורא ושויתי ית לוחיא בארונא די עבדית והוו תמן כמא די פקדני יי:
yy pqdny dy kma thmn whww ebdyth dy barwna lwkhya yth wshwythy Twra mn wnkhthyth wathpnythy
I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are as Yahweh commanded me.

ובני ישראל נטלו מבארות בני יעקן למוסרה תמן מית אהרן ואתקבר תמן ושמש אלעזר בריה תחותוהי:
thkhwthwhy bryh alezr wshmsh thmn wathqbr ahrn myth thmn lmwsrh yeqn bny mbarwth nTlw yshral wbny
(The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.

מתמן נטלו לגדגד ומן גדגד ליטבת ארעא נגדן נחלין דמיין:
dmyyn nkhlyn ngdn area lyTbth gdgd wmn lgdgd nTlw mthmn
From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.

בעדנא ההיא אפרש יי ית שבטא דלוי למטל ית ארון קימא דיי למקם קדם יי לשמשותיה ולברכא בשמיה עד יומא הדין:
hdyn ywma ed bshmyh wlbrka lshmshwthyh yy qdm lmqm dyy qyma arwn yth lmTl dlwy shbTa yth yy aprsh hhya bedna
At that time Yahweh set apart the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, to stand before Yahweh to minister to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.

על כן לא הוה ללוי חלק ואחסנא עם אחוהי מתנן דיהב ליה יי אנון אחסנתיה כמא די מליל יי אלהך ליה:
lyh alhk yy mlyl dy kma akhsnthyh anwn yy lyh dyhb mthnn akhwhy em wakhsna khlq llwy hwh la kn el
Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers; Yahweh is his inheritance, according as Yahweh your God spoke to him.)

ואנא הויתי קאם בטורא כיומין קדמאין ארבעין יממין וארבעין לילון וקביל יי צלותי אף בזמנא ההוא לא אבי יי לחבלותך:
lkhblwthk yy aby la hhwa bzmna ap tslwthy yy wqbyl lylwn warbeyn ymmyn arbeyn qdmayn kywmyn bTwra qam hwythy wana
I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and Yahweh listened to me that time also. Yahweh would not destroy you.

ואמר יי לי קום זיל למטול קדם עמא ויעלון וירתון ית ארעא די קימית לאבהתהון למתן להון:
lhwn lmthn labhthhwn qymyth dy area yth wyrthwn wyelwn ema qdm lmTwl zyl qwm ly yy wamr
Yahweh said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”

וכען ישראל מא יי אלהך תבע מנך אלהן למדחל קדם יי אלהך למהך בכל ארחן דתקנן קדמוהי ולמרחם יתיה ולמפלח קדם יי אלהך בכל לבך ובכל נפשך:

Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

למטר ית פקודיא דיי וית קימוהי דאנא מפקדך יומא דין לדייטב לך:
lk ldyyTb dyn ywma mpqdk dana qymwhy wyth dyy pqwdya yth lmTr
to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?

הא דיי אלהך שמיא ושמי שמיא ארעא וכל די בה:
bh dy wkl area shmya wshmy shmya alhk dyy ha
Behold, to Yahweh your God belongs heaven, the heaven of heavens, and the earth, with all that is therein.

לחוד באבהתך צבי יי למרחם יתהון ואתרעי בבניהון בתריהון בכון מכל עממיא כיומא הדין:
hdyn kywma emmya mkl bkwn bthryhwn bbnyhwn wathrey ythhwn lmrkhm yy tsby babhthk lkhwd
Only Yahweh had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their offspring after them, even you above all peoples, as it is today.
16
ותעדון ית טפשות לבכון וקדלכון לא תקשון עוד:
ewd thqshwn la wqdlkwn lbkwn Tpshwth yth wthedwn
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.

ארי יי אלהכון הוא אלהא דינין ומרי מלכין אלהא רבא גברא ודחילא די לית קדמוהי מסב אפין ואף לא לקבלא שחדא:
shkhda lqbla la wap apyn msb qdmwhy lyth dy wdkhyla gbra rba alha mlkyn wmry dynyn alha hwa alhkwn yy ary
For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons or take bribes.

עבד דין יתם וארמלא ורחם גיורא למתן ליה מזונא וכסו:
wksw mzwna lyh lmthn gywra wrkhm warmla ythm dyn ebd
He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the foreigner in giving him food and clothing.
19
ותרחמון ית גיורא ארי דירין הויתון בארעא דמצרים:
dmtsrym barea hwythwn dyryn ary gywra yth wthrkhmwn
Therefore love the foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
20
ית יי אלהך תדחל וקדמוהי תפלח ולדחלתיה תקרב ובשמיה תקים:
thqym wbshmyh thqrb wldkhlthyh thplkh wqdmwhy thdkhl alhk yy yth
You shall fear Yahweh your God. You shall serve him. You shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.
21
הוא תשבחתך והוא אלהך דעבד עמך ית רברבתא וית חסינתא האלין די חזו עיניך:
eynyk khzw dy halyn khsyntha wyth rbrbtha yth emk debd alhk whwa thshbkhthk hwa
He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
