בעדנא ההיא אמר יי לי פסל לך תרין לוחי אבניא כקדמאי וסק לקדמי לטורא ותעבד לך ארונא דאעא:
bedna hhya amr yy ly psl lk thryn lwkhy abnya kqdmay wsq lqdmy lTwra wthebd lk arwna daea
At that time Yahweh said to me, “Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.

ואכתוב על לוחיא ית פתגמיא די הוו על לוחיא קדמאי די תברתא ותשונון בארונא:
wakthwb el lwkhya yth pthgmya dy hww el lwkhya qdmay dy thbrtha wthshwnwn barwna
I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”

ועבדית ארונא דאעי שטין ופסלית תרין לוחי אבניא כקדמאי וסלקית לטורא ותרין לוחיא בידי:
webdyth arwna daey shTyn wpslyth thryn lwkhy abnya kqdmay wslqyth lTwra wthryn lwkhya bydy
So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.

וכתב על לוחיא ככתבא קדמאה ית עשרא פתגמיא די מליל יי עמכון בטורא מגו אשתא ביומא דקהלא ויהבנון יי לי:
wkthb el lwkhya kkthba qdmah yth eshra pthgmya dy mlyl yy emkwn bTwra mgw ashtha bywma dqhla wyhbnwn yy ly
He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.

ואתפניתי ונחתית מן טורא ושויתי ית לוחיא בארונא די עבדית והוו תמן כמא די פקדני יי:
wathpnythy wnkhthyth mn Twra wshwythy yth lwkhya barwna dy ebdyth whww thmn kma dy pqdny yy
I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are as Yahweh commanded me.

ובני ישראל נטלו מבארות בני יעקן למוסרה תמן מית אהרן ואתקבר תמן ושמש אלעזר בריה תחותוהי:
wbny yshral nTlw mbarwth bny yeqn lmwsrh thmn myth ahrn wathqbr thmn wshmsh alezr bryh thkhwthwhy
(The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.

מתמן נטלו לגדגד ומן גדגד ליטבת ארעא נגדן נחלין דמיין:
mthmn nTlw lgdgd wmn gdgd lyTbth area ngdn nkhlyn dmyyn
From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.

בעדנא ההיא אפרש יי ית שבטא דלוי למטל ית ארון קימא דיי למקם קדם יי לשמשותיה ולברכא בשמיה עד יומא הדין:
bedna hhya aprsh yy yth shbTa dlwy lmTl yth arwn qyma dyy lmqm qdm yy lshmshwthyh wlbrka bshmyh ed ywma hdyn
At that time Yahweh set apart the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, to stand before Yahweh to minister to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.

על כן לא הוה ללוי חלק ואחסנא עם אחוהי מתנן דיהב ליה יי אנון אחסנתיה כמא די מליל יי אלהך ליה:
el kn la hwh llwy khlq wakhsna em akhwhy mthnn dyhb lyh yy anwn akhsnthyh kma dy mlyl yy alhk lyh
Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers; Yahweh is his inheritance, according as Yahweh your God spoke to him.)

ואנא הויתי קאם בטורא כיומין קדמאין ארבעין יממין וארבעין לילון וקביל יי צלותי אף בזמנא ההוא לא אבי יי לחבלותך:
wana hwythy qam bTwra kywmyn qdmayn arbeyn ymmyn warbeyn lylwn wqbyl yy tslwthy ap bzmna hhwa la aby yy lkhblwthk
I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and Yahweh listened to me that time also. Yahweh would not destroy you.

ואמר יי לי קום זיל למטול קדם עמא ויעלון וירתון ית ארעא די קימית לאבהתהון למתן להון:
wamr yy ly qwm zyl lmTwl qdm ema wyelwn wyrthwn yth area dy qymyth labhthhwn lmthn lhwn
Yahweh said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”

וכען ישראל מא יי אלהך תבע מנך אלהן למדחל קדם יי אלהך למהך בכל ארחן דתקנן קדמוהי ולמרחם יתיה ולמפלח קדם יי אלהך בכל לבך ובכל נפשך:
wken yshral ma yy alhk thbe mnk alhn lmdkhl qdm yy alhk lmhk bkl arkhn dthqnn qdmwhy wlmrkhm ythyh wlmplkh qdm yy alhk bkl lbk wbkl npshk
Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

למטר ית פקודיא דיי וית קימוהי דאנא מפקדך יומא דין לדייטב לך:
lmTr yth pqwdya dyy wyth qymwhy dana mpqdk ywma dyn ldyyTb lk
to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
14
הא דיי אלהך שמיא ושמי שמיא ארעא וכל די בה:
ha dyy alhk shmya wshmy shmya area wkl dy bh
Behold, to Yahweh your God belongs heaven, the heaven of heavens, and the earth, with all that is therein.
15
לחוד באבהתך צבי יי למרחם יתהון ואתרעי בבניהון בתריהון בכון מכל עממיא כיומא הדין:
lkhwd babhthk tsby yy lmrkhm ythhwn wathrey bbnyhwn bthryhwn bkwn mkl emmya kywma hdyn
Only Yahweh had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their offspring after them, even you above all peoples, as it is today.
16
ותעדון ית טפשות לבכון וקדלכון לא תקשון עוד:
wthedwn yth Tpshwth lbkwn wqdlkwn la thqshwn ewd
Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.

ארי יי אלהכון הוא אלהא דינין ומרי מלכין אלהא רבא גברא ודחילא די לית קדמוהי מסב אפין ואף לא לקבלא שחדא:
ary yy alhkwn hwa alha dynyn wmry mlkyn alha rba gbra wdkhyla dy lyth qdmwhy msb apyn wap la lqbla shkhda
For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons or take bribes.

עבד דין יתם וארמלא ורחם גיורא למתן ליה מזונא וכסו:
ebd dyn ythm warmla wrkhm gywra lmthn lyh mzwna wksw
He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the foreigner in giving him food and clothing.
19
ותרחמון ית גיורא ארי דירין הויתון בארעא דמצרים:
wthrkhmwn yth gywra ary dyryn hwythwn barea dmtsrym
Therefore love the foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
20
ית יי אלהך תדחל וקדמוהי תפלח ולדחלתיה תקרב ובשמיה תקים:
yth yy alhk thdkhl wqdmwhy thplkh wldkhlthyh thqrb wbshmyh thqym
You shall fear Yahweh your God. You shall serve him. You shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.
21
הוא תשבחתך והוא אלהך דעבד עמך ית רברבתא וית חסינתא האלין די חזו עיניך:
hwa thshbkhthk whwa alhk debd emk yth rbrbtha wyth khsyntha halyn dy khzw eynyk
He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
22
בשבעין נפשן נחתו אבהתך למצרים וכען שויך יי אלהך ככוכבי שמיא למסגי:
bshbeyn npshn nkhthw abhthk lmtsrym wken shwyk yy alhk kkwkby shmya lmsgy
Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now Yahweh your God has made you as the stars of the sky for multitude.
