כדין אחזיני יי אלהים והא מן מלי סיופי קיטא:
qyTa sywpy mly mn wha alhym yy akhzyny kdyn
Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me: behold, a basket of summer fruit.

ואמר מא את חזי עמוס ואמרית מן מלי סיופי קיטא ואמר יי לי מטת פורענות קצא למיתי על עמי ישראל לא אוסיף עוד למשבק להון:
lhwn lmshbq ewd awsyp la yshral emy el lmythy qtsa pwrenwth mTth ly yy wamr qyTa sywpy mly mn wamryth emws khzy ath ma wamr
He said, “Amos, what do you see?” I said, “A basket of summer fruit.” Then Yahweh said to me, “The end has come on my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

וילילון חלף זמרא בבתיהון בעדנא ההיא אמר יי אלהים סגי פגרי קטילין בכל אתר יימר רמי וסלק:
wslq rmy yymr athr bkl qTylyn pgry sgy alhym yy amr hhya bedna bbthyhwn zmra khlp wylylwn
The songs of the temple will be wailing in that day,” says the Lord Yahweh. “The dead bodies will be many. In every place they will throw them out with silence.

שמעו דא דשיטין כעפרא דארעא ריש מסכניא ומדמן לבטלא מלי חשיכיא מן ארעא:
area mn khshykya mly lbTla wmdmn msknya rysh darea kepra dshyTyn da shmew
Hear this, you who desire to swallow up the needy, and cause the poor of the land to fail,

דאמרין אימתי ימטי ירח עבורא ונזבן עבורא ושמטתא ונפתח אוצרין לאזערא מכלתא ולאוספא על סלעא ולשקרא במזנון דנכיל:
dnkyl bmznwn wlshqra slea el wlawspa mkltha lazera awtsryn wnpthkh wshmTtha ebwra wnzbn ebwra yrkh ymTy aymthy damryn
saying, ‘When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, that we may market wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel large, and dealing falsely with balances of deceit;

למקני בכספא מסכניא חשיכיא בדיל דיחסנון ומהממת עבורא נזבן:
nzbn ebwra wmhmmth dykhsnwn bdyl khshykya msknya bkspa lmqny
that we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals, and sell the sweepings with the wheat?’”

קים יי דיהב רבותא ליעקב אם יתנשון לעלמין כל עובדיהון:
ewbdyhwn kl lelmyn ythnshwn am lyeqb rbwtha dyhb yy qym
Yahweh has sworn by the pride of Jacob, “Surely I will never forget any of their works.

העל דא לא תחרוב ארעא ויצדי כל דיתיב בה ויסק עלה מלך במשריתיה דסגי כמי נהרא ויחפנה כולה ויתרך ית יתבהא ותשתקע כנהר מצרים:
mtsrym knhr wthshthqe ythbha yth wythrk kwlh wykhpnh nhra kmy dsgy bmshrythyh mlk elh wysq bh dythyb kl wytsdy area thkhrwb la da hel
Won’t the land tremble for this, and everyone mourn who dwells in it? Yes, it will rise up wholly like the River; and it will be stirred up and sink again, like the River of Egypt.

ויהי בעדנא ההיא אמר יי אלהים ואכסי שמשא כד בטהרא ואקביל לארעא ביום נהור:
nhwr bywm larea waqbyl bThra kd shmsha waksy alhym yy amr hhya bedna wyhy
It will happen in that day,” says the Lord Yahweh, “that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day.

ואהפיך חגיכון לאבלא וכל תשבחתכון לאליא ואסק על כל חרצין סק ועל כל ריש מרט ואשוינה כאבל יחיד וסופה כיום מריר:
mryr kywm wswph ykhyd kabl washwynh mrT rysh kl wel sq khrtsyn kl el wasq lalya thshbkhthkwn wkl labla khgykwn wahpyk
I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will make you wear sackcloth on all your bodies, and baldness on every head. I will make it like the mourning for an only son, and its end like a bitter day.

הא יומיא אתן אמר יי אלהים ואשלח כפנא בארעא לית דכפן למיכל ולית די צחי למשתי אלהין לקבלא ית פתגמא דיי:
dyy pthgma yth lqbla alhyn lmshthy tskhy dy wlyth lmykl dkpn lyth barea kpna washlkh alhym yy amr athn ywmya ha
Behold, the days come,” says the Lord Yahweh, “that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing Yahweh’s words.

וישתלהון מימא עד מערבא ומצפונא עד מדינחא יהכון למתבע אולפן מן קדם יי ולא ישכחון:
yshkkhwn wla yy qdm mn awlpn lmthbe yhkwn mdynkha ed wmtspwna merba ed myma wyshthlhwn
They will wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east; they will run back and forth to seek Yahweh’s word, and will not find it.

ביומא ההוא ישתלהין כנישתא דישראל דאינון דמין לבתולן שפירן דטעאה בשפרהן עם עולימין חיבין ויהון מטרפין ורמן בצחותא:
btskhwtha wrmn mTrpyn wyhwn khybyn ewlymyn em bshprhn dTeah shpyrn lbthwln dmyn daynwn dyshral knyshtha yshthlhyn hhwa bywma
In that day the beautiful virgins and the young men will faint for thirst.

די מקימין בחובת שמרון ואמרין קימא דחלתא די בדן וקימין נימוסי באר שבע ויפלון ולא יקומון עוד:
ewd yqwmwn wla wyplwn shbe bar nymwsy wqymyn bdn dy dkhltha qyma wamryn shmrwn bkhwbth mqymyn dy
Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, ‘As your god, Dan, lives,’ and, ‘As the way of Beersheba lives,’ they will fall, and never rise up again.”
