קבילו פתגמא הדין עתירי נכסיא דבטורא דשמרון דעשקין מסכיניא ואנסין חשיכיא דאמרין לרבוניהון אשלטונא ונבז:
wnbz ashlTwna lrbwnyhwn damryn khshykya wansyn mskynya deshqyn dshmrwn dbTwra nksya ethyry hdyn pthgma qbylw
Listen to this word, you cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, who tell their husbands, “Bring us drinks!”

קים יי אלהים במימריה בקודשיה ארי הא יומיא אתן עליכון ויטלון יתכון עממיא על תריסהון ובנתכון בדוגית צידין:
tsydyn bdwgyth wbnthkwn thryshwn el emmya ythkwn wyTlwn elykwn athn ywmya ha ary bqwdshyh bmymryh alhym yy qym
The Lord Yahweh has sworn by his holiness, “Behold, the days shall come on you that they will take you away with hooks, and the last of you with fish hooks.

ויתרעון עליהון שורא ויפקון יתכון כנישין גבר לקבליה ויגלון יתהון להלאה מן טורי חרמיני אמר יי:
yy amr khrmyny Twry mn lhlah ythhwn wyglwn lqblyh gbr knyshyn ythkwn wypqwn shwra elyhwn wythrewn
You will go out at the breaks in the wall, everyone straight before her; and you will cast yourselves into Harmon,” says Yahweh.

אתו לבית אל ומרדו בגלגלא אסגיאו למחטי ומיתן לצפרא דבחיכון לתלתא יומין מעסרתכון:
mesrthkwn ywmyn lthltha dbkhykwn ltspra wmythn lmkhTy asgyaw bglgla wmrdw al lbyth athw
“Go to Bethel, and sin; to Gilgal, and sin more. Bring your sacrifices every morning, your tithes every three days,

ומגבן מן אונס תודתא ומיתן ליה בזמר ואמרין דין לרעוא ארי כן רחמתון בית ישראל אמר יי אלהים:
alhym yy amr yshral byth rkhmthwn kn ary lrewa dyn wamryn bzmr lyh wmythn thwdtha awns mn wmgbn
offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving of that which is leavened, and proclaim free will offerings and brag about them; for this pleases you, you children of Israel,” says the Lord Yahweh.

ואף אנא יהבית לכון אקהיות שנין בכל קרויכון וחסירות מזון בכל אתריכון ולא תבתון לפולחני אמר יי:
yy amr lpwlkhny thbthwn wla athrykwn bkl mzwn wkhsyrwth qrwykwn bkl shnyn aqhywth lkwn yhbyth ana wap
“I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and lack of bread in every town; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.

ואף אנא מנעית מנכון ית מטרא בסוף תלתא ירחין לזמן חצדא ואחית מטרא על קרתא חדא ועל קרתא חדא לא אחית מטרא אחסנתא חדא יחות עלה מטרא ואחסנתא דלא יחות עלה מטרא תיבש:
thybsh mTra elh ykhwth dla wakhsntha mTra elh ykhwth khda akhsntha mTra akhyth la khda qrtha wel khda qrtha el mTra wakhyth khtsda lzmn yrkhyn thltha bswp mTra yth mnkwn mneyth ana wap
“I also have withheld the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain on one city, and caused it not to rain on another city. One field was rained on, and the field where it didn’t rain withered.

וישתלהון תרתין תלת קרוין לקרתא חדא למשתי מיא ולא יסבעון ולא תבתון לפולחני אמר יי:
yy amr lpwlkhny thbthwn wla ysbewn wla mya lmshthy khda lqrtha qrwyn thlth thrthyn wyshthlhwn
So two or three cities staggered to one city to drink water, and were not satisfied; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.

מחיתי יתכון בשדפנא ובירקנא סגיות גניכון וכרמיכון ותיניכון וזיתיכון אכלא זחלא ולא תבתון לפולחני אמר יי:
yy amr lpwlkhny thbthwn wla zkhla akla wzythykwn wthynykwn wkrmykwn gnykwn sgywth wbyrqna bshdpna ythkwn mkhythy
“I struck you with blight and mildew many times in your gardens and your vineyards, and the swarming locusts have devoured your fig trees and your olive trees; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.

שלחית בכון מותא כד באורח מצרים קטלית בחרבא עולימיכון עם שבי סוסותכון ואסקית סרות משריתיכון ובאפיכון ולא תבתון לפולחני אמר יי:
yy amr lpwlkhny thbthwn wla wbapykwn mshrythykwn srwth wasqyth swswthkwn shby em ewlymykwn bkhrba qTlyth mtsrym bawrkh kd mwtha bkwn shlkhyth
“I sent plagues among you like I did Egypt. I have slain your young men with the sword, and have carried away your horses. I filled your nostrils with the stench of your camp, yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.

רחיק מימרי יתכון כמא דרחיק יי ית סדום וית עמורה והויתון כאוד משיזיב מיקידא ולא תבתון לפולחני אמר יי:
yy amr lpwlkhny thbthwn wla myqyda mshyzyb kawd whwythwn emwrh wyth sdwm yth yy drkhyq kma ythkwn mymry rkhyq
“I have overthrown some of you, as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a burning stick plucked out of the fire; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.

בכן מה אעביד לך ישראל חלף דלא תבת לאוריתא דא אעביד לך אתקשיט לקבלא אולפן אוריתא דאלהך ישראל:
yshral dalhk awrytha awlpn lqbla athqshyT lk aebyd da lawrytha thbth dla khlp yshral lk aebyd mh bkn
“Therefore I will do this to you, Israel; because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, Israel.

ארי הא מתגלי דיצר טוריא וברא רוחא לחואה לאנשא מה עובדוהי לאתקנאה נהור לצדיקיא כנהור טוריא דאזיל ותקין לאיתאה חשוך לרשעיא למתבר רשיעי ארעא יי אלהי צבאות שמיה:
shmyh tsbawth alhy yy area rshyey lmthbr lrsheya khshwk laythah wthqyn dazyl Twrya knhwr ltsdyqya nhwr lathqnah ewbdwhy mh lansha lkhwah rwkha wbra Twrya dytsr mthgly ha ary
For, behold, he who forms the mountains, creates the wind, declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth: Yahweh, the God of Armies, is his name.”
