קבילו ית פתגמא הדין די גזר יי עליכון בית ישראל על כל זרעיתא דאסקית מארעא דמצרים למימר:
lmymr dmtsrym marea dasqyth zreytha kl el yshral byth elykwn yy gzr dy hdyn pthgma yth qbylw
Hear this word that Yahweh has spoken against you, children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying:

לחוד בכון אתרעיתי מכל זרעית ארעא על כן אסער עליכון ית כל חוביכון:
khwbykwn kl yth elykwn aser kn el area zreyth mkl athreythy bkwn lkhwd
“I have only chosen you of all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all of your sins.”

היהכון תרין כחדא אלהין אם אזדמנו:
azdmnw am alhyn kkhda thryn hyhkwn
Do two walk together, unless they have agreed?

הינהום אריה בחורשה וצידה לית ליה הירים בר אריון קליה ממרבועתיה אלהין אם אחד:
akhd am alhyn mmrbwethyh qlyh arywn br hyrym lyh lyth wtsydh bkhwrshh aryh hynhwm
Will a lion roar in the thicket, when he has no prey? Does a young lion cry out of his den, if he has caught nothing?

התפול צפרא בקולא על ארעא וציד לית ליה היסק קולא מן ארעא ומחד לא אחד:
akhd la wmkhd area mn qwla hysq lyh lyth wtsyd area el bqwla tspra hthpwl
Can a bird fall in a trap on the earth, where no snare is set for him? Does a snare spring up from the ground, when there is nothing to catch?

אם יתקע שופרא בקרתא בלא זמניה ועמא די בה לא יזועון אם תהי בישתא בקרתא ומן קדם יי לא אתעבדת:
athebdth la yy qdm wmn bqrtha byshtha thhy am yzwewn la bh dy wema zmnyh bla bqrtha shwpra ythqe am
Does the trumpet alarm sound in a city, without the people being afraid? Does evil happen to a city, and Yahweh hasn’t done it?

ארי לא כשרין פתגמין דמתעבדין מן קדם יי אלהים אלהין גלא רזיה לעבדוהי נבייא:
nbyya lebdwhy rzyh gla alhyn alhym yy qdm mn dmthebdyn pthgmyn kshryn la ary
Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

אריה נהים מן לא ידחל יי אלהים מליל מן לא יקביל נבואתא:
nbwatha yqbyl la mn mlyl alhym yy ydkhl la mn nhym aryh
The lion has roared. Who will not fear? The Lord Yahweh has spoken. Who can but prophesy?

בסרו על ברנית באשדוד ועל ברנית בארעא דמצרים ואמרו אתכנשו על טורי שמרון וחזו שגושיא סגיאן בגוה ואנוסין בגוה:
bgwh wanwsyn bgwh sgyan shgwshya wkhzw shmrwn Twry el athknshw wamrw dmtsrym barea brnyth wel bashdwd brnyth el bsrw
Proclaim in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, “Assemble yourselves on the mountains of Samaria, and see what unrest is in her, and what oppression is among them.”

ולא ידעין למעבד אוריתא אמר יי די מלן אוצריהון חטוף ובזא בברניתהון:
bbrnythhwn wbza khTwp awtsryhwn mln dy yy amr awrytha lmebd ydeyn wla
“Indeed they don’t know to do right,” says Yahweh, “Who hoard plunder and loot in their palaces.”

בכן כדנן אמר יי אלהים עקא תקיפא לארעא ויבטיל מניך תוקפיך ויתבזון ברניתיך:
brnythyk wythbzwn thwqpyk mnyk wybTyl larea thqypa eqa alhym yy amr kdnn bkn
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “An adversary will overrun the land; and he will pull down your strongholds, and your fortresses will be plundered.”

כדנן אמר יי כמא דמשיזיב רעיא מפומא דאריא תרתין כרעין או חסחוס דאודן כן ישתיזבון בני ישראל דיתבין בשמרון בתקוף שולטן ועל דמשק רחיצין:
rkhytsyn dmshq wel shwlTn bthqwp bshmrwn dythbyn yshral bny yshthyzbwn kn dawdn khskhws aw kreyn thrthyn darya mpwma reya dmshyzyb kma yy amr kdnn
Yahweh says: “As the shepherd rescues out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel be rescued who sit in Samaria on the corner of a couch, and on the silken cushions of a bed.”

קבילו ואסהידו בבית יעקב אמר יי אלהים אלהי צבאות:
tsbawth alhy alhym yy amr yeqb bbyth washydw qbylw
“Listen, and testify against the house of Jacob,” says the Lord Yahweh, the God of Armies.

ארי ביום אסערותי חובי ישראל עלוהי ואסער על דפלחין לאגוריא בבית אל ויתקטפן קרנת אגורא ויפלון לארעא:
larea wyplwn agwra qrnth wythqTpn al bbyth lagwrya dplkhyn el waser elwhy yshral khwby aserwthy bywm ary
“For in the day that I visit the transgressions of Israel on him, I will also visit the altars of Bethel; and the horns of the altar will be cut off, and fall to the ground.

ואמחי בית סתוא על בית קיטא וייבדון בתין דמכבשין בשן דפיל ויסופון בתין סגיאין אמר יי:
yy amr sgyayn bthyn wyswpwn dpyl bshn dmkbshyn bthyn wyybdwn qyTa byth el sthwa byth wamkhy
I will strike the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory will perish, and the great houses will have an end,” says Yahweh.
