The sun will be turned into darkness,
and the moon into blood,

They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.

ܘܗܘܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܕܚܠܬܐ ܠܟܠ ܢܦܫ ܘܐܬܘܬܐ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܘܓܒܪܘܬܐ ܗܘܝܢ ܗܘܝ ܒܝܕ ܫܠܝܚܐ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ
whwy' hwth dkhlth' lkl npsh w'thwth' sgy'th' wgbrwth' hwyn hwy byd shlykh' b'wrshlm
Fear came on every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.

ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܝܡܢܘ ܗܘܘ ܐܟܚܕܐ ܗܘܘ ܘܟܠܡܕܡ ܕܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܕܓܘܐ ܗܘܐ
wklhwn 'ylyn dhymnw hww 'kkhd' hww wklmdm d'yth hw' lhwn dgw' hw'
All who believed were together, and had all things in common.

ܘܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܝܬ ܗܘܐ ܠܗܘܢ ܩܢܝܢܐ ܡܙܒܢܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܗ ܘܡܦܠܓܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܐܢܫ ܐܢܫ ܐܝܟ ܡܕܡ ܕܣܢܝܩ ܗܘܐ
w'ylyn d'yth hw' lhwn qnyn' mzbnyn hww lh wmplgyn hww l'nsh 'nsh 'yk mdm dsnyq hw'
They sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need.

ܘܟܠܝܘܡ ܐܡܝܢܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܗܝܟܠܐ ܒܚܕܐ ܢܦܫ ܘܒܒܝܬܐ ܩܨܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܦܪܝܣܬܐ ܘܡܩܒܠܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܣܝܒܪܬܐ ܟܕ ܪܘܙܝܢ ܘܒܒܪܝܪܘܬܐ ܕܠܒܗܘܢ
wklywm 'mynyn hww bhykl' bkhd' npsh wbbyth' qtsyn hww prysth' wmqblyn hww sybrth' kd rwzyn wbbryrwth' dlbhwn
Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,

ܡܫܒܚܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܟܕ ܝܗܝܒܝܢ ܒܪܚܡܐ ܩܕܡ ܟܠܗ ܥܡܐ ܘܡܪܢ ܡܘܣܦ ܗܘܐ ܟܠܝܘܡ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܚܐܝܢ ܒܥܕܬܐ
mshbkhyn hww l'lh' kd yhybyn brkhm' qdm klh em' wmrn mwsp hw' klywm l'ylyn dkh'yn bedth'
praising God, and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.
